These people totally screwed me on an expensive part I returned. They act like they are on drugs. They do not answer the phone. They do not call back when requested. Each time I write them, they ask for more information and when I give it, they ask for more. Finally, they act like I'm not requesting an RMA, when I already got one and sent the part in. Now they say they will "Look" for the part. I've filed a Better Business Bureau Complaint against them. I also found out they have an "F" rating by the BBB.

I have two dozen pages of emails that have gone back and forth between them and I. A judge will laugh at them. They never respond. I've called them and can not get through on the telephone--even on the sales line. They don't take calls because they screw everybody over.

My next step is to have my lawyer contact them, and then I'll file suit against them, and I won't settle out of court. I'll make them pay and pay for the court costs, because these people should not be in business.

I was going to return a part that cost $100.00 but to ship it back was $126.00. I don't know what has happened to this company but I will not be doing business with them anymore.

i orded 2 struts got wrong ones sent them back got credit for 1 they are crooks i am out 300 dollars

And again, it is Dane. I just want to reach as many of you all complainants as possible. The Parts Geek web site is flirting with some seriously felonious practices and they need to be brought up short. There are things such as liens that can be placed on their inventory/business equipment etc. to assure that we all get our money and our costs (even legal) back as well as a possible class action suit. I am not an attorney but if there are enough of us pulling together then perhaps we can afford legal help.
The first order of business would be to create a list of wronged customers who are committed to getting their money back and stopping the criminal scamming of consumers. At the point of subscription we would retain an attorney in the city of record (sorry, can't remember the city name right now). The attorney would create an escrow account where all of our retainer and court fees would be held and only released based on actual billable time and performance of the attorney.
I am dead serious about this. I will not be taken advantage of again by a company or person who thinks that stonewalling is the way to freely rip off the public.

I ordered a 200.00 AC compressor and it was the wrong part. Geek discount auto hung up twice during calls to resolve the problem. After that they flagged my phone number and the call would not go through. I immediately called my Visa card and stopped payment to the SOB's. I will ship the part back paying the freight if necessary getting a return receipt and tracking verification that it arrives. That way they will get charged for the freight by visa and I can get my money back. You have to get proof you sent the part and a receipt they got it.

I returned a 359.00 ac kit and paid 87.00 to send it back I haven't heard anything from them

I GOT SAME SERVICE AS THE ONES IN REVIEW STATED. YOU CAN'T CALL THEM .THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD AND THAN HANG UP. I ORDERD A PACK OF 100 DOOR PANEL CLIPS. FOR 2.95 AND I SAID THAT IS GREAT DEAL. I GOT ONE CLIP . I EMAIL THEM AND SAID ORDER AGAIN AND CAME UP. 100 CLIPS AND THAN SHOW 1 CLIP. COST ME 12.95 FOR ONE CLIP AND I HAD PAY TO RETURN IT AND THAT COST ME .I DID GET A REFUND BUT DID NOT GET IT ALL BECAUSE I HAD PAY TO RETURN THE PART. I STILL GET EMAILS FOR TO ORDER FROM THEM, BUT NO MORE ORDERS FROM ME.I NOW ORDER PARTS FOR OLD VEHICLES FROM J BUG FOR MY VW. THEY ARE GREAT AND SEND WHAT YOU ORDER.

I made an online purchase at Part geek LLC and was referred to Free Shipping for a refund of my shipping charges of 9.95. Free Shipping has been posting amounts as sales of 12.97 for 3 months using my credit card. Dates of transactions are 9/9, 10/9 and 11/8. These people are thieves

This may be lengthy but some good info if you want to buy your parts from Parts Geek.
A couple years ago I bought a part from them and it was defective, like everyone else I tried and tried to call them and no one answers their phone. So I followed their instructions and send the part back to them with an RMA number given by them.. at the time I was in the military prepping to go overseas. Two weeks went by and no communication from them so I called the credit card company and opened a dispute. They said they never received the part. I had no access to the internet for 45 days because I was in a war zone. When I did I answered the dispute with all documentations and their reply was that I had 30 days to answer and did not so I lost the case.
Now I own a business, for the last 2 years I have been buying my parts from Rockauto.com and any time I have an issue there is always someone you can talk to and if there is a problem with a part they will pay for the shipping back to them unlike Parts Geek where you have to pay.
Anyway recently with a knot in my stomach I ended up buying 2 parts from the Geeks hoping they would arrive in tact and have no issues. Unfortunately RockAuto did not have these parts. When I opened the box one part was good, the other broken, not from shipping but from where ever it came from. Now my stomach started to turn that I would again have issues with these #%&*%$. I tried calling but after waiting for 40 minutes on the phone, a recording finally came on and said they were supper busy and to call another time. Now they gave me a RMA number and I have to pay for shipping on a defective part again. You know you can't fix STUPID, that's me.. This will never happen again I am home from overseas now so I will fight them all the way. The next time RockAuto does not have my part I will go to Napa or Advance and save the aggravation.. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE EVER..TRY IT FOR YOURSELF CALL THEIR PHONE FOR CUSTOMER HELP AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT WE ARE ALL COMPLAINING ABOUT BEFORE YOU BUY...

I invite all of the ripped off and bleeding from PG to contact me. I really want to take them to task and think that if we pool our resources we can just shut the SOB's down and get our money back. I think that wire fraud and or just plain old theft could be applied here.

I order a gas tank and they sent the wrong one.. even after checking the vin#. Now they want me to pay $190 return shipping on a $165 part!
I need this resolved.

I ordered a suspension conversion kit from them in May it was the wrong one. I followed all their instructions and sent the part back. It was signed for by an employee named jGonzalez at their faculty in Carson california. They are telling me now that they can’t give me my 655.00 refund because they can’t verify that the part was returned. I’m beyond infuriated!

Well I guess I will just avoid all the hassle of sending my alternator back and expecting a refund wish I had read this BEFORE I got a part from them I too usually go to Auto Parts Warehouse!

I had the same problem with fuel injector returns. They got my parts and said they did not to Amex. Do not do business with this idiots or you will get e-screwed like the rest of us.

I had the same frigging experience on an alternator with these guys. Ordered one, they shipped two! Days later and charged me for both! Turns out both had bent pulleys on them! Then they tell me to return the the extra & core for credit. Do they offer to pay shipping, nooooooooo! So I carefully followed their detailed instructions and paid it and still no refund after several weeks and emails. What a rip off!

These guys are into me now for over $200 not to mention hours of time and frustration. They suck big time. I'll stick with AutoPartsWarehouse from now on. Stay away, far away from Parts Geek!
