Outback Steakhouse blooming onion

I was in the mood for a blooming onion so I called ahead for a take out order. Everything was good until I started eating it. It was not ready when I got there but that was ok. The blooming onion was tough and the onion skin was left on the onion. It was terrible... I was very disappointed... This was purchased at the davie location on university. I don't like to complain or write reviews, but this was really bad. I have been in the restaurant business as a general manager and believe this is a training issue with the back of house.
Thank you,
Don barr

Outback Steakhouse manager unprofessional

Finished eating gave the waitress my debit card. She came back said it was not in the checkbook. She looked in her apron it was not there. She came back a second time and said are you sure you put it in the check book. We told her yes. She took off and was looking for it in the restaurant, retracing her steps. Finally after 15-20 mins of looking for it in the restaurant. She got the manager, and he brought back all the checkbooks. And started looking through all the checkbooks they own. And as he was going through it. He turns and looks at my dad what is in your pocket. Is it in there? My dad told him no. He left with the waitress and they were looking for it in the back and from of the restaurant. Finally came back and told my dad give me your info, gave me the note pad to write it down. & we will keep looking for your debit card if we find it we will call you and also told my dad if you find it call us. I didn't like his or the waitress demeanor the whole time insinuating we didn't want to pay. I was so upset I tossed it on the table. He didn't like it . Turned and looked at me like he wanted to say something me. I told him sorry but I don't like the way you are talking to us. It upset My brother, stepping right in . Telling him he was very unprofessional. Manager apologized and could be at the perfect timing another employee walked up with my dads debit card. Asking if this was our card. Yes it is! Manager didn't know what to say... that shut him right up.. like you see that waitress did lose our card.and you both were wrong for thinking that we were trying to get a free dinner. They did not bill us for the 2 last dinners. I won't be returning

Outback Steakhouse dinner

My husband and I went to eat dinner at your Roseville 521 location my steak was ordered as medium but I got it rare I had already cut the steak so they just put it back on the grill and brought it back well done and super dry. I ate 1 bite and then they wanted to cook a new steak by this time the other person was done with their meal. I ate broccoli for dinner and yet paid $80 for a steak meal that was crap. I'm displeased and don't plan on ever eating at any of your establishments again

Outback Steakhouse food ordered from curbside takeaway

My order was supposed to be ready for pickup at 12:35 I did not get my food until 1:03 all I ordered was a 1/2 cheese fries with extra cheese that they didn't put on there and a slice of carrot cake. My cheese fries were missing the extra cheese and they were cold. I eventually went and waited in the line that was coming outside of the door their was 4 people waiting and by the time I got my food 2 of them left with nothing they had waited so long not to mention there was 4 cars waiting and 3 people behind me. Not once did anyone come to help the girl they only had her working and management was told and never once came back to help her get orders ready or apologize for the wait. I called once I got in the car and was on hold 12 mins for the manager when I told him what was going on his reply was well I'm sorry. ? Never once offered to send me a discount card or anything? I didn't call to get a discount but it is aggravating to pay for food that's cold. The managers name was Ed. I order takeout from
here all the time but I won't be anymore after this.

Outback Steakhouse Unethical behaviour

On September 16 - 2018 It was my Birthday, my wife was taking me out for lunch. We went to the Outback in St Augustine, FL. We sat down at a booth, and a waitress came over and took our order. First thing we ordered was a Blooming Onion . We also went ahead and ordered our lunch too. Well, it was getting a ridiculous time for our Blooming Onion to get to our table. Then we looked up and our lunch came to the table, no Blooming Onion. Well our waitress came back to the table, and told us she forgot to order it. So we told her to go ahead and Order it, that it was my Birthday and I love the Blooming Onion. We waited and waited, almost done with our lunch, and here come the Onion, It was way over cooked, we couldn't even eat it, was so tough. Well we got our waitress back to the table. And she told us, she wouldn't charge us for it. Well for one thing, I wanted a Blooming Onion for my Birthday, and went thru all of this trouble, and still didn't get one. Our waitress was rude at this point and told her several times it was my Birthday. And no celebration was ever made at our table. My Wife was so disappointed for me. My email is [protected]@bellsouth, net

Outback Steakhouse Service/food

On September 18th, 2018- my friend and I met for dinner at the Outback Steakhouse in Independence, OH at approximately 515pm. I arrived first and asked to sit in the bar area, the host sat me at a booth, where it was sopping wet on the cushion, from a spill and it smelled like urine in that area. I quickly got up and said it is wet and smell like urine. So, he sat me in a booth in the main dining room. I was approached a few minutes later by our server Chaz. He was a little over friendly and seemed a little frazzled. There were possibly 10 other people in the whole restaurant, 1 table in his section. I said I was waiting for a friend and he offered a water. Long story short... he brought out the water with no ice., for both of us. My friend had just arrived and she asked if there were any happy hour drink specials, he had no knowledge of what she was asking. So he quickly wanted to take a drink order and be on his way. We waited a little while for the drinks which were very watered down and very little alcohol. We order an appetizer and that was good... we ordered 2 of the same steaks, the 9 oz. sirloin, with 2 sides. He brought out our salads, did not bring bread, had to ask, did not fill waters, or clear our dishes. The meals came out, i ordered mine well done, my friend ordered hers medium well. Mine was burnt to a crisp and they butterflied it, it was as hard as a rock and my sweet potato was a ball of moosh. My friend's steak was medium rare on one end and medium well on the other. So, I complained.. I was not happy. The manager would not let me just return the food and be done, he INSISTED I get a meal. I told him I was really just done and by the time the right steak came out my friend would be done eating. He would not let me NOT get a meal. So he brings out yet another steak, still not a sirloin, not even sure what this cut of meat was. It was completely salty, fatty and I had 2 bites and was done. The waiter NEVER brought the A1 as requested 3x, never filled our water, never asked if we wanted another drink. Our bill was $61.69- my friend offered to pay b/c i got a new job and we were celebrating. I said you are not paying for this disaster of a meal. I was NOT looking for a free meal, but again, even the meal that was replaced was terrible. The manager never came back to ask if this new steak was better. So we gave the server $65.00 in hopes we'd get the change - he never came back with our change, assuming this was his tip! We sat for 10 minutes more and nothing. We got up walked and a sore this is the absolute last time we will ever eat at this restaurant, along with the Bonefish tat is right next door... terrible slow and rude service and food is always cold!

Outback Steakhouse poor quality food/service

I went to bossier outback to pick up food sunday night. But originally ordered from shreveport. The manager and blonde girl in shreveport didn't want to deal with my cards that were given to me from the original store that messed up my order to begin with. I wish I would have known that. Because that's not what I was told by the manager who gave them to me. So now im in the bossier outback again trying to pay for my food with the cards I was given by another manager to use when I was ready to try outback again. The manager with glasses smaller guy told me I couldn't even use one card for the onion. I still had to come out of pocket with more cash. I got my food it was terrible I had no bread to start. No silverware no toppings for my potato very little sauce for my volcano shrimp I ordered it on the side I ordered 4 orders of shrimp and only received literaly 8 shrimp in each box what happened. My steak was over cooked. The boxes were filthy had a small hole in it from a pen. The ice-cream was melting because there were no lids on them at all. No lids on my macaroni either plus it was very dry. I even ordered extra sauce and offered to pay for that. I had maybe 5 things of that sauce for the onion but I didn't even ask for extra of that sauce I asked for ranch for it on the side. I got orange sauce not ranch or anything else I asked for. The cookie we got was old it looked like it should not have been sold. I originally didn't want to order from bossier because the last 2 times i've ordered from that store it's been awful nothing is changing. It was not like this all the time. I was not to long ago a regular customer. I could deal with a missing potato everyonce in awhile but this is ridiculous. I will not ever eat at bossier outback again., even if I accidentally even ordered from there again. It sad because we used to spend at least spend $100 everytime we would eat there thru takeaway.

Outback Steakhouse the gm of the lubbock, tx store

Last night after outback closed, the GM of the store, named Caesar, came into my place of business and harassed me the whole time he was there. He harassed me about my companies liquor pour, had to get my manager involved to tell him that I was doing my job right because Caesar would not leave me alone. He continued to talk crap and be VERY disrespectful the whole night. He told my manager it's no wonder our company is going out of business, said if he was my manager he would have fired me day one, said I was in the wrong profession, I shouldn't have ever been hired, I didn't know how to do my job, and just continued on the whole night. The most disrespectful customer I have ever had and I've been working with my company for 3 years. Is this how y'all represent y'all a company? Having y'all GMS go into other restaurants and harass the employs and the managers. He does this every time he comes in and makes it known he's the gm of outback. I don't think he's someone y'all want representing y'all.

Outback Steakhouse quality of food

8-13-18 my husband and I were celebrating our 41st anniversary at the Outback, 12258 Jefferson Ave., Newport News, VA 23602. We were there at 7:24PM and they were out of medium Prime Rib. Stephanie, our waitress, assured us that they could take a rare prime rib and sear it. When we got the meat, it was dried up and a 12oz prime rib looked like a burnt 6 oz. We questioned it and was told that was the way it comes out. It was not eatable and no one offered to give us another meal. We both left very disappointed and frustrated. However, we have gone to Outback for years and will continue to do so. Obviously, this was just a bad night. But, it cost of $58.96. I am asking for a reimbursement gift card for that amount. Becky Gunter.

Outback Steakhouse service at the king of prussia outback on 9/01/2018

9/01/18 20:14 Server David D (#792) check #0268
Once we were seated at the high tables which were not out preference, but the only available, drink order & appetizers followed. Because our entree was so delayed; we ate all of our appetizers which is unusual for me; making me eata small portion of my entree! We asked the server to bring a takeout carton. The carton he returned with was small, so I asked him if he thought a barely eaten entree, would fit in the container
that he returned with? I added that I had taken out leftover food in a much larger container and his response was that what he provided me with was the standard!

What disturbed me was the tone the server used; which appeared confrontational to both me & my husband! Mind you, this is my 3rd experience at Outback and there have been 2 instances of customer dissatisfaction: the 1st was food and this complaint is about service! As we attempted to check out, the server provided a check and did not provide a pen; when he returned to pick up the check it wasn't signed, it was an "oops moment!" Perhaps we need to dine during the service of Ricky McCode, who provided excellent service during our last encounter.

Outback Steakhouse food quality

We ordered Victoria Filet s but were served steaks that if they were a half inch it is being generous. They were also fatty. It looked more like the sirloin filet they sell at food lion. They were not even very tasty. Filets usually are very flavorful but not these.

Also, I ordered the chopped salad which was served like a regular garden salad. I was told if I wanted the lettuce chopped I had to ask for it when I ordered. i did not understand a chopped salad would not be chopped. Since I was charged extra for this garden salad with a couple of pecans I was not pleased.

Also my son ordered onions for his steak. He counted exactly five small pieces of onion which we paid extra for.

This is not what I expect and after paying A$70 for two people to eat a mediocre meal it will be hard to get me to go back. I might as well go to any other low end steak chain and eat there.

I do believe outback is lowering their quality yet again and not their prices.

Outback Steakhouse online ordering for delivery

I had the extreme displeasure of trying to do business with your newest location:
Outback Steakhouse
10400 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33026
[protected]
https://goo.gl/maps/bNJGBGWSsVt

Put in an order and saw the funds come out of my account but the cryptic message in the system was there's some problem with my payment. I called the store and I'm quite still in shock of what I was told - there's a problem with their online ordering system and orders can't get through to the restaurant, but — - they can and do and did come out of MY bank account. Your store stole $29.67 from me while providing no food or service. I was told the charge would be reversed by Monday and yesterday came and went with still no reversal of the felonious theft of a charge. Finally had to call my bank to dispute which likewise takes too long but am given a provisional credit at least in the interim. Who does this? I thought outback had a better reputation than this. Clearly I was wrong and I'm telling everyone I know and will post google yelp and every other account of this debacle of an ‘experience' and I will never ever ever patronize any of your establishments again in my whole life. Your food ain't all that! JERK OFFS

Outback Steakhouse I am complaining about our food order

My husband ordered the ribeye steak medium well, with the lobster tail with double fries. He had to send it back because it was so undercooked bloody red, we sent it back only to get it back charded so black on the bottom it was extremely bitter. Was afraid to complain again so we left it alone. My prime rib was tough. I not sure why it was medium well. Spoiled our 30 yr marriage anniversary😡

Outback Steakhouse hair on steak

My husband and I went to Outback Steakhouse in Charlottesville Va on Saturday August 18th. My husband order the seafood platter that was $25.00 and I order the 9 oz streak, mashed potatoe, with broccoli. When we received the food, my steak has a long brown hair on it. I told the waiter and he told the mgr. All I heard that everyone in the back, do have hair net on. We never seen anything that this before. Not mention that my hair is blonde/white. I explain to the waiter that I should have gotten the complete meal free, for I couldn't eat anything out of the kitchen after that. The mgr did bring me a house salad. I explain to the waiter to tell the mgr, that I would be sending a complaint about paying for the whole meal. I used my 25.00 gift card for 2 glasses of tea and seafood combo. After we left the table, and did see the mgr go over to the table where we were sitting at. I feel like the outback doesn't care about their customers. With texas roadhouse in Charlottesville, I would have done anything to make a customer happy. Free Meal or A gift card.

Outback Steakhouse management was rude and unprofessional

Tonight on [protected] and I called at 8:45 pm. I called to place an order for Outback's steak tacos which I have ordered many times for dinner previously. First the waiter/waitress said they couldn't make the steak tacos because it was a lunch menu item. So I asked to speak with a manager (Jessica). Jessica proceeded to tell me the same thing the waiter/waitress said and my response was can you upcharge me for the steak tacos I don't mind as long as you can fix them. At that time Jessica proceeded to ask me why I don't just go to taco bell or longhorns that they may be able to better serve my needs. She also laughed at her on remarks and sarcastically stated that the upcharge would be 50 dollars. While I understand the business of a weekend for a restaurant is very hectic the unprofessionalism of management is unacceptable.

Outback Steakhouse lunch

Hi. I had lunch around 230 today with my family. The experience was less than great. Our server was awesome and attentive, which was the only good thing about it. My sirloin was over seasoned and undercooked. The baked potato was obviously old. I only mentioned the potato to our server, which she happily replaced. The pasta my nephew had was a huge let down as well. He found 4 shrimp and a small chicken breast, but lots of pasta. The flavors weren't not the usual. This was my Mom's first experience, and I am sure the last. $50 for 1 sirloin steak, pasta, 1 soda and 2 waters . I basically blew 3 hours of pay to take my family to lunch. Thank you.
