I'm contacting you in regard to my mother Sandra Hill. Although I finally resolved the problem(I hope). I had an issue disconnecting my cable service and was given a hard time doing so by your representative. My mom is currently in a nursing with dementia, and is mentally not able to adhere to the process of disconnecting the service. I Randell Hill an authorized user and her son as well as her subjugate, feel the customer service representative was disrespectful and negligent to her condition. I was asked to do things that I felt was distasteful and a violation to the privacy of my moms medical condition. I was asked to show proof of her condition although I gave all the information showing I was an authorized user . I put the social worker from the nursing home on the phone she resides in and still was asked to give proof and fill out paperwork for a name change and to cancel service. After doing so by fax I was called by a representative and was told it wasn't sufficient and that I needed a power of attorney which insulted me and left me angry. I feel that a loved ones medical information should be private information especially if I'm an authorized user. After speaking to a representative that spoke proper English the situation to my understanding was handled, but still left me angry and wanting to give up all my services completely and to even find another provider for my internet service as well. I'm hoping that this won't become an issue for myself going forward or for any of your other customers with family members with medical issues. I find it to be distasteful and unempathetic.
Desired outcome: For it to not happen to me or another authorized user with family who have medical issues.
