I have been a member of opinion outpost for 6 years all of a sudden account was frozen. I called them they said they would reactivate my account. Received email from them stating it was going to be reactived on wednesday march 1 I had to wait 48 hours to take survey I waited until friday march 3 in the evening. I logged into my account and said account again was deactivated for on reason. They owe me 17.60 I emailed them sunday march 5 and still have not heard anything I am calling them if no results I will get a hold of bbb

Every morning I get this survey to take, for the past 3 weeks when I start the survey I answer the questions and all of a sudden
"Unexpected Error has Occurred" In the past I have sent 10 emails, spoke with customer service, emailed member services and keep getting conflicted replies
1. Check me internet connect connection!
2. Nothing is wrong on our end?
3. Then I get a reply "This survey was closed on January 4, 2017
4. Spoke with customer service, again this morning, Rhona, she know nothing about this. I asked to speak with tech support, she said there's not such service available.
5 Again this morning the same thing happened "Unexpected Error"

I seem to not be getting surveys that I am qualified for. For example today I was only able to receive 5 points. And yesterday I only received 35 points. Then the other day 20 surveys were offered and I qualified for 2. I don't know if there is something wrong with the system or I simply don't qualify for the surveys. Some surveys kick me out as soon as I open it and then there are some that are freezing half way through a survey. Please help. I really would like some surveys. Thank you and have a great day

My account has been terminated I completed Loads of surveys and my PayPal account is verified and the email associated with it matches the one I used on the Opinion Outpost so why has my account been terminated. I earned a 100 points and and when I tried to redeem them they told me my account was under review following this I tried to log in and I couldn't
8/9/2016 - until last night everything was fine. I have been taking surveys for them since may with no problems, then this morning when I tried to log in I get a message "account frozen due to data concerns"??? What does it means??? What data???. I am the only user of the computer where I take the surveys. They provide an email address to get more info I did send message about 3 hrs ago... No response yet... Is this a scam or what?
I have been doing surveys for over a year now, and this is the first time I have had my account frozen. They told me it was frozen after I tried to cash out 11 dollars. I take surveys on several different sites and this is the first time I have ever been lock out of my account. After reading all the different people who have had this happen I believe there should be a class action lawsuit against opinion outpost for breach of contract. We all completed the surveys and were awarded the amount to our accounts so we are owed that money.
Horrible site, I was a member with opinion outpost for over a year and a half, then they froze my account. I had over 15.00 in it at the time, and had done close to 100.00 worth of surveys. I started having trouble with their surveys about June and kept telling them that the surveys were redirecting and not crediting. They credited me for about half of what I did, then canceled my account. There were no reasons to do so, I didn't have more than one account, I didn't do ssi surveys for anyone but them. I had done a few for another site, but hardly any compared to what wasn't crediting. If anyone has had experience with ssi surveys, you know that you cannot even start a survey if you had done it before. I kept getting an error screen AFTER I finished the survey saying I was either flagged for data concerns, or someone else had done this survey before, blah blah blah, but if I thought there was a mistake contact them. You bet I contacted them, not at first because i didn't know what was going on, then when it kept happening more and more I contacted them. I wasn't given credit for a 55 point survey=5.50, I wrote them and they said I only spent a few minutes on it. so I wrote them back and told them details of the survey I wouldn't know unless I did, so they had to give me the money. Within a day they froze my account. I am turning them into the BBB, and anyone else that has had these problems I urge you to do the same. They are on my black list, all they have shown is how they have tried to scam me and I'm sure they would do it to others.
I have been a member of this panel for over a year now. I have heard many stories of them freezing people accounts for illegitimate reasons and not paying. I never had any trouble, and they were actually one of my favorite survey sites until recently. I have done a number of surveys for them, but for the past month have had huge problems with some of the surveys not crediting, they would redirect me to an error page which read that I was flagged for data concerns, or that I or someone in my household had completed the survey before. I know their survey system well, if I had taken the survey before, I wouldn't have been allowed to start it as it redirects you when you click on it and says you cannot participate because you have already done that survey. I would know if I had completed any of these surveys, needless to say I was getting very upset. Altogether I had about a dozen and a half that did this, some they credited me for, about 4 or 5, and I didn't even waste my time complaining about the 50 cent surveys. So they terminated me.. I have done nothing but tell them somethings wrong with their system, as I am not getting credit for some of their surveys. Oh and when a 55 point survey didn't credit, I did threaten them, it took me over an hour to do it, that was over a 5.00 survey. But at first when this was happening, I just ignored it, until it kept happening. I have done many surveys for them, and although it didn't happen all the time, it happened too often, and I couldn't be flagged for data concerns as I would spend a long time answering surveys, honestly with the same profile information all the time. I seen a few others having the problem and they wrote about something on their website saying: Many companies offer the same survey through multiple survey panels. If you ever get the status “someone else already participated in this survey using your computer” it may be that you already completed the survey with a different survey panel. Although this is uncommon, it can be frustrating when it happens.
We encourage our members to prevent this from happening by not taking surveys on a computer that someone else does. We know this is sometimes not possible since spouses share a computer, but if it's possible to take surveys on different computers, this will happen less frequently.
Uh, duh, people know when they do the same survey, but ssi surveys(which is what OO uses), never lets you even start a survey...looks like a lot of people were complaining so much, they had to say something about it. There were times when I started a survey and it redirected from the start saying I may have already done the survey. Thats how it works, it doesn't let you finish the survey to go to an error screen saying that either you may have taken the survey or you were flagged for data concerns, and then it says if you think this is an error please contact them...WHICH IS WHAT I DID. Instead of helping me most of the time they would state that I didn't qualfiy for the survey. which is a lie since I know I finished the survey, its just that they didn't want to admit their system is having problems. Which lead you to think, maybe this error screen is a problem they don't care to fix, its in their best interest to not pay you for the survey, they get paid anyhow.
Its very unfair that I have worked like crazy to do these surveys and then not get paid, I was busting my but, trying to get money for my kids school clothes. only to be RIPPED OFF BY OPINION OUTPOST. I suggest anyone else that has had this happen complain to the BBB and FTC, which is what I am doing, if enough people get together I think we should enter a class action lawsuit against Opinion Outpost, now I know those that have had their account frozen for no reason were legit, because it happened to me.
This is a legitimate survey site. If you do surveys online, don't waste your time with opinion outpost. What they have done to me is really hard to believe. I have been a member of them for over a year. Recently I have been having problems, don't know if it is with the or ssi who they go through, but a lot of my surveys are recording and I am not being credited. The only other survey site I do surveys for is toluna, so I am not doing the same surveys, I repeatedly told them of the errors, some I never even asked about. I have let at least 100 points (10.00) go. When I took a 55-point survey and wasn't credited I had it. They credited me after much complaining, and then a couple of days later I did about half a dozen surveys one night, 4 were not credited. By this time I was afraid if I complained too much my member ship would be canceled. Several others I talked to had this done, and I read about many others. I took a survey for gongos research for them and it seems that it didn't credit, I asked about it, and wondered why all the problems, I also mentioned several the night before did this, but I let it go. I did 3 more surveys and tried to cash out, bam - my membership was canceled, and the 14.80 I worked hard to make, was taken from me, I couldn't even cash out. I am contacting the bbb about them, also several other forums and survey police, but I don't think they'll pay me. If you do online surveys, save your time and don't join opinion outpost, they will make sure to scam you out of point earned.
