Dear Opera House Casino Management,

I write to express my profound disappointment and dissatisfaction following an alarming incident that occurred on your premises. Having been a loyal patron of Opera House Casino for several years, my experience has unfortunately been tarnished due to the mishandling of a distressing situation.

One evening, during my regular blackjack games, I was the victim of an unprovoked assault by another customer, an experience which left me both physically and emotionally shaken. Despite the distressing nature of the event, what unfolded afterwards was even more alarming. Instead of expressing concern or offering assistance, I was met with disdain from your staff when I voiced my complaint.

Adding insult to injury, instead of addressing the issue, I was unjustly banned from the premises, a punitive measure I believe was more a response to my displeasure than a consequence of any wrongdoing on my part.

In the aftermath, [edited] your casino manager, repeatedly sidestepped responsibility, pushing the matter aside as if it were merely my burden to bear. Despite the thousands of pounds I've contributed to your establishment over the years, I found myself being treated with outright disrespect and disregard, which is entirely unacceptable.

The unprofessionalism exhibited by [edited] is utterly disheartening, considering the gravity of the situation. She has met my genuine grievances with contempt and indifference, a manner unbefitting of her position.

Moreover, the staff on duty during the incident exhibited a lack of urgency and empathy, which only compounded the distress of the situation. It felt as if the entire incident was brushed under the rug, fueled possibly by ulterior motives rather than an objective view of the situation.

I must stress that each point I have raised in this letter is based entirely on fact. The seemingly callous disregard for my wellbeing and your lack of any substantive response suggests a lack of concern for customer safety and satisfaction.

I sincerely hope that this issue is addressed with the seriousness it deserves. A proactive response, aimed at rectifying the situation and ensuring the safety of your patrons, is not just expected but is a necessary duty you owe to every person who walks through your doors.

Just look how they respond. They think it's funny. They actually think that risking people's lives, and letting them get hurt, is nothing more than a joke to them. They should be rightfully investigated.

I am currently preparing to submit a range of documents to the gambling commission. These include numerous reports and complaints concerning issues such as violence, understaffing, and mismanagement at the casino. Also included are records of previous complaints from both employees and customers, and additional allegations. With an 8-page report under review, I anticipate an investigation will ensue. Given the gravity of these issues, it's hard to envision the casino's operations extending beyond the next two years.

Horrible place nasty staff all dealers are corrupt more chance winning the lottery than this rigged casino. Doorstaff dude and bullys ..save your time and money and go e casino staff far friendlies and casino not rigged like this spot..I only have look at casino lights outside on north street realise place falling apart avoid at all costs is my advice

reckon its the blokes in charge wots screwing everyting up in their casino used to be a good pot and now tons of folk getting treated like bloody eejits, do they care eck! Ignore near enough every complaint, they do. 99 out of every 100, I reckon. And don't get me started on the health and safety. Treating it like it's nowt but a joke, they are. Thinking they're all high and mighty, they are. They'll be out on their ear soon enough if they carry on this way, mark my words. Might stand a chance if they'd get their act together and shake things up with the management. Do something decent with the place, like. But right now, it's just a bloody mess.

I’m not normally one to complain at all, I’ve worked in hospitality before and completely understand what it’s like. I turned up to casino at about half 1 in the morning after just finishing work and lined up in the line to renew my membership. Two boys behind me were speaking to me however I was warned about talking to people, therefore stopped and asked them to stop talking to me infront of staff at the desk who saw me tell them to stop. Before I even reached the desk I was refused entry for no good reason other than ‘swearing’, I can confirm I absolutely did not swear and even if I did, this is a ridiculous reason to ban someone from a highly established bar and casino. You will get drunk customers however I was not one of them and still refused entry. It’s completely unfair and I feel targeted by staff. This night was planned and as I said I was completely unintoxicated when I arrived. So thanks to casino for ruining it before it even started. Please get this sorted.

I’ve heard I’m not the only person to receive this kind of treatment. I’ve also seen staff letting in their friends who are highly intoxicated. This same member of staff ended the call on me after I tried to voice my complaint after being unfairly refused entry. It’s disgusting treatment to loyal customers of a long time. Will not be returning again and will recommend friends don’t come again unless this is sorted. Absolutely appalled.

Well it seems like this is common practice with multiple people needing hospital treatment etc, and this kind of thing happens in virtually no other casinos in the country - yet it happens in one of the smallest - what does that tell you - ITS A F---ING CIRCUS 🎪

Won £2000 on roulette and at first they refused to pay out full amount. Was told they could only give me £1600. Demanded the full amount and got told I need further identification. I said use the same ID I just used to sign up with. After arguing with management for 15 mins they eventually agreed to give me what I was entitled to but told me to leave and not come back!

No shock there, me. Found meself in the casino, all by me lonesome, having a go at roulette, and the bloody machines would just go on the blink and slow down just when I were about to place a certain bet. Then I clocks the smirk on the manager's face... Absolute swindlers, they are.
