I was recently blocked from Nextdoor for voicing my conservative political viewpoint to a neighbor that had a liberal political viewpoint. I did not bully, I did not write anything what would be considered racially offensive, I did not say anything disrespectful, and did not swear. I have been a member of Nextdoor for over 15 years and was gullible enough to believe the Nextdoor was politically neutral. I should have realized that Nextdoor was not neutral because I rarely see any conservative viewpoints expressed, and truly believe that Nextdoor is in the business of supporting progressive and liberal activists while suppressing the views of conservatives. Nextdoor has essentially chased the conservatives away. Nextdoor, in my opinion, is not a platform of free speech and being neighborly to one another. I am canceling my membership to Nextdoor as I do not need a social platform around me that censors and silences anyone who disagrees with an opposing viewpoints and caters to liberal viewpoints and agenda. Good riddance for me and good riddance for Nextdoor. Bye Nextdoor!
Claimed loss: Blocked for 2 weeks from posting on Nextdoor. Did not received any explanation or notification as to why I was being blocked.
Desired outcome: Nextdoor needs to become more open to conservative opinions, and give reasons and notification as to why one is being blocked from posting.

The same thing has happened to me as well as others I know. They hide comments for bogus reasons, warn members, suspend and disable accounts, and remove messages, even in the private chat. When appealed and asking how the guidelines have been violated, they deny appeals with no explanation.
They often claim a guideline violation of "non-local" when it is local politics and a discussions have been going on for days. If you are pro-life or conservative, you are targeted.
It is a censored platform that does not allow free speech, falsely accusing those who do not share their liberal political views, which can clearly be evidenced from reading their guidelines in the Help section.
