Appalachia North Carolina and every time I post something on next door about it upcoming Bill to vote on for example the roadless role or data centers that our county is voting on in November that I'm getting information into the public now I get suspended. I put out information regarding what the USDA says about the road to school act here in Appalachia and I get suspended. I reposted an article from a local newspaper regarding slot cameras and I got suspended the next door app Henderson County North Carolina is biased and is sensory what they want I have worked in the media for over a decade my mom is an awardland in New York Times journalists that worked in the media for decades and is also a professor and a teacher and the journalist now don't even know what bias or libel is. People on next door need to know that this app is not an unbiased platform and does censor what they want

Using 'national politics' and 'disrespect to neighbors' as a reason, many local mods are abusing Nextdoor moderation to escalate action against users (their posts/views) they dont like. These terms and several others are used to justify a narrative to get the posts removed/deleted and in many cases accounts suspended.
While local mods themselves dont suspend accounts - their collective flagging (targeting) of posts, escalates the complaints to Nextdoor for escalating action (1, 7, 15, 30 and then 1-year suspensions). With the number of escalations to Nextdoor Central being large, I'm sure most of them and the related 'appeals' are being reviewed by overwhelmed and poorly trained 'live' operators and possibly AI-bots. The results is probably an automatic approval of suspensions/punishments by Nextdoor.
This site has become very toxic and easily manipulated.
