Remember a time when people could actually HAVE opinions? Now you have to walk on eggshells. I noticed people were complaining about political signs being stolen so I shared my opinion. Right after that I was taken down. I found out that this company is out of SAN FRANSISCO. Wow, Nancy Pelosi's backyard where all the homeless people live. I wonder if they can have their own Next Door account? Probably not. They would start speaking their minds and embarrass the left for all of their FAILED policies. It's just so unfair what Next Door does, they REALLY do TARGET their political opponents and SILENCE them. Sounds pretty communistic to me. I'm probably breaking all the rules about writing a complaint but rules are made to be broken. I do miss being on Next Door to find out about good mechanics, the latest scams, neighborhood get togethers etc. Sad that I was taken down because I speak my mind.

I have been banned by Nextdoor in Lake Serene Community Association for 31 days, this is against my first amendment rights, I am considering joining a class action lawsuit due to this gross violation of my rights. The admins and moderators are blatantly biased against conservatives. I believe I was banned due to a discussion concerning Fauci and the possible gain of function in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, I posted 4 articles that led credence to the claim, even from the NINH. This were all comments, not my post. I am livid and will be seeking legal counsel.

I wrote a note, to which a nasty woman complained that I was posting in the "wrong group." i asked her where I was supposed where to post my comment? And she went on about how they had all these groups and so forth, and I replied that I had simply posted this comment and selected "general" etc. She was a very snotty woman and indicated that she was going to get my comment and the whole conversation removed. And she did. What kind of [censored] bags do you have moderating these pages? Seriously?

In October of 2021 I offered my services on the Nextdoor App to parents wanting to explore the option of homeschooling their children. I never mentioned vaccines or the CCP virus in my post. I received about 200 hundred likes and 200 comments for this offer to help my community. Many were grateful and gracious, but others were not and the post was soon highjacked by many talking about these points. Twice, our "local" moderator Wes Hagen, asked the group to unhijack the post and bring the conversation back to my offer. I stayed out of the fray and simply offered articles and places to go to read about homeschooling or school choice. As soon as I mentioned Hillsdale and Imprimis as sources I was called out for using conservative and radical right curriculum. Neither of these things are "curriculum" and I never mentioned them as such to use in homeschooling. The next day I could no longer log on to my account. Multiple attempts to restore my account are "unanswered" by Nextdoor, as I never get an email to reset or the app refers to me that my "email is already in use". Who knew homeschooling would be a cancel culture topic? I have no desire to return to using such a silly app, but the truth should be out there for the readers/users of the app. Thanks for listening. I was verbally attacked by a neighbor who posted about an incident regarding the death of her pregnant cat. Being in rescue who deals. With this neglectful behavior frequently on nextdoor posts, I spoke up. About how this death could have been avoided.. And that it was negligence... And unlawful behavior. Which is what animal neglect / abuse is!
The poster of this story verbally attacked me.. And I responded and defended my remarks. She then went on a public verbal tirade. And reported me! My.Account was suspended... But not hers!, I blocked all further contact from her.. I do not think nextdoor has the authority to override free speech. Just because someone doesnt like what you say or are
Exposed for their negligent.. And unlawful behavior!

I posted on the Nextdoor App about what was happening to me with forced vax and job loss and they deleted my post not once, but twice! There was no warning or message as to why it was removed! Clearly, people are being censored!

I have no idea when I was banned from Nextdoor but I am locked out for a reason I do not know. I also cannot find anyone to talk to and discuss this issue. I am harmless and have no intent to harm anyone on Nextdoor.

Who do I talk to and how do I reach this person?

I have been on nextdoor for many years. I moved recently to a new area of town and I have been banned 3 times for going against standards. I have seen many people attack eachother, curse, etc without any restrictions to accounts or bans even after reporting. For some reason I am just responding to posts and I'm banned. I feel this is discrimination at this point and I'm considering looking into this and me being personally attacked by your review board. This last ban I have done nothing wrong but try to show both sides of a situation and I was not disrespectful and I opened a group to help people beware of the ongoing coyote issues in our area that have become an issue. I have read thoroughly through the community standards, rules, etc and I'm not seeing that I've done anything in violation. At this point it seems like a witch hunt. I run a large non-profit for families in need and try to help families on this platform that post needs. This site is taking away critical services from people who truly need it. I feel there is a very one sided view here on who they ban or not ban. I have saved over 100 screenshots of people bashing and after reporting nextdoor has done nothing about it. Then to see I'm banned for not doing anything. Just really feels like discrimination to me. I am requesting that my ban be lifted please and that discrimination against me stops.

There are constantly topics started in our neighborhood nextdoor.com that is bickering back and forth about our Presidents, past and current. According to YOUR rules, this is NOT allowed! I report over and over and over and over and over and you all do NOTHING. I have reported it to our LEAD, John Vicario, and he does NOTHING. You need to do something!

Nextdoor.com sent letters out to many towns people in Salisbury, NH around 9/17/2021 with a signature from one of the selectmen.

We contacted that individual to ensure the letter and request was valid. It was not. The selectmen did not know anything about the letter.

I would like nextdoor.com to send another letter, apologizing to those that received the first letter for misleading them.

I noticed that my local Nextdoor was allowing posts about government and policy. So I posted a petition to encourage people to make a change to a policy that affects me and many families in the community. The post has been taken dow 4 times in the last 8 hours. Now they are claiming that they are removing my posts because it is spam. The other political posts remain but because one or many of the admins disagree with my stance, I am being censored.

My nextdoor username is H. Alan Schup. There is a Brenda J in Weatherford TX area, that is a "Karen" extreme. She puts up gross misinformation and calls me names when I correct her with a government website or a scientific research website. She does nothing but troll -- argue both sides to trigger a word fight... Well, evidently she was able to have me banned for 2 weeks from logging in. I turned in 20+ reports on all her comments, which were only attacking me in writing, calling me all sorts of names.

I ended up being banned when it should be her for her potty-mouth slanderous non-neighborly trolling.

I am going to run a competition for the person Nextdoor has deactivated most times.
It is so easy to get booted, just disagree with someone in Nextdoor, that invariably works, use good English grammar...that is resented.

My account was suspected. I thought it was my phone issue or my app issue. Tried restarting phone and reinstalling Nextdoor. When I tried logging back in I realized my account was suspected! There was no message telling me about it and no warning. Yes, I did comment and said I believe Joe Biden cheated the election. Is there still any free speech in this country?! Terrible company!

I belong to the Nextdoor site in Wellington ohio, and the moderators have been on a HUGE censoring spree regarding the research and findings of the covid and vaxx fearmongering propaganda. Many people have submitted articles, videos and links pertaining to the truth and dangers, about the virus and vaxx and as soon as it is posted, it is taken down. Attached pics 150 comments counted, only 59 comments are actually showing.

My post was about an event that took place at my kids school and dealt with Covid. I will include some pictures of what next door said as to why my post was removed. Even though I supplied evidence from the cdc.gov website. They responded with my post was misleading. All of the events I mentioned in my post actually took place and is still an on going event. My daughter was made to quarantine and get a covid test. While my step son is still in school because he has received the vaccine shot. Even though the cdc says he can still spread covid. ND suspended the wrong person. I did not violate ND rules; however, the person Ritu N. Lake Pointe (or whatever/whoever they are professing to be), that I believe reported me, is the one you need to be watching/who needs to be taken down. Ritu N. is posting lies, old information, & creating nothing but FEAR in our neighborhoods & school district. These bots, imposters, paid posters, whatever you want to call them, are the ones who are spreading misinformation and out-and-out LIES! They are not only "UNKIND", but intentionally malicious, deceptive, vindictive, and dangerous to those on ND who are REAL neighborhood people seeking the truth. wanting to connect with their neighbors and report information (not misinformation).

If these 'posters' are who you support, employ, and/or intentionally allow on NextDoor, then ND is NOT who I/others think you are.
These "people" are far from "KIND" and use language and attack whoever does not agree with them by intentionally reporting and shaming them on posts.

I have been booted from Nextdoor one two many times. It is so unfair that your neighbors who just don't like your opinions can have you banned and you have no way to fight back. I have tried my best not to name call not post national politics etc. I was banned for posting what they say is misinformation but everything I said was true. I dont know yet what I was booted for this time. I have emailed support but they are no help.

I was really excited to discover Nextdoor. Having the opportunity to get to know my neighbors seemed like a great idea! After *trying* to communicate with my neighbors for two months, I closed my account in disgust.

Nextdoor moderators have ZERO tolerance for any content that contains "misinformation." Misinformation is anything that questions COVID-19 or vaccine "policy" from Fauci, Biden, CDC, et al as promoted by the liberal media. No one may discuss concerns (or "conspiracy theories" as they put it) about the legality of the 2020 election. These are the two most important issues facing our country right now. As a concerned conservative, I am extremely alarmed at how the left is taking away our freedom in the name of "safety.' I badly want to share my concerns with my neighbors but the moderators never gave me a chance.

In two posts where I questioned the"massive"COVID-19 death toll, I used material I found on the CDC's own website to refute it and I included links. If it came from the CDC, how can it be"misinformation"I asked the moderators? None of that mattered to the moderators. They deleted it.

Just before I closed my account, I posted about how helpless I felt because I was not allowed to post things that mattered to me or question things others had posted that concerned me. I never blamed anyone or included any sort of"misinformation." They deleted that too. : (
