This company does not work with any issue I bring up to them. They consistently have added fees and charge unnecessary fees for everything! They have a 15 dollar check processing fee. A 7.50 online payment fee and other ridiculous fees. I just finished a foreclosure proceeding and even though I did NOT get a Modification they still charged me late fees on top of that. illegally they have not worked with our state in giving the homeowner's relief in any way and it still seems that they are allowed to get away with it. Why? They are just another scam company that tries to get away with screwing the American people and it's time we all said enough.

I had a mortgage with aurora loan! and my mortgage was always paid on time until october 2017, I applied for a loan modification h. a. m. p. with a program called making homes affordable, which is a legitimate government program. the process was great. the account reps aurora loan were always available and helpful. the loan modification was approved! next thing I knew I called and to my surprise, my loan had been sold to nationstar mortgage, what a nightmare. I spoke to a rep and inquired about what the heck was going on. come to find out that nationstar denied my hamp1 & hamp2, they wouldn't refinance me and said my debt to income ratio was not good enough to be eligible for the programs! i'm disabled and on ssdi! I explained to them that I was accepted through aurora loan! I faxed them the documents to them, around and around in circles talking to at least 15 people! needless to say they foreclosed on me, sold my house on 02/20/2017! found out by the assessor's office online... never received anything in the mail, or was never served with legal papers!. I would like to add my name to any class action that is filed against nationstar.

Bank of America sold my mortgage to Nationstar October 2017 and I have been trying to get my loan modify due to lost of income. I have sent in all the documents that they requested and every month they are asking for the same documents over and over again and every time they made a request I keep sending them, 7 months later they send me a loan modification package stating 90 days has passed therefore I have to reapply. Whenever you try to call them all you get is the automated service. What can I do about this situation? I am afraid of loosing my home.

Where to start? Aurora loans was much better and easier to get any type of contact from... This company should be out of business a long time ago. No communication no nothing. I have been trying to refinance since august of 2017 and they have taken soo long due to a tax lien that does not pertain to me for which they do not provide any details to me on and claim to be in the process of removing from my record for the past 6 months but yet nothing, no responses to my phone calls or emails. Extremely unprofessional and totally not customer oriented at all... Stay away from nationstar bad business.

My loan late fees are incorrect and we have made several payments. Nationstar stated that our mortgage is 1422.80 instead of 1238.64. I did not receive any notice about an increase; I just received a note that they want my house. They did not send me a monthly statement. Henry clark climax, ga

I have tried to refinance under the government HARP program with Nationstar, my current mortgage company. I started this process 7 months ago and kept getting the run around. I have gone through 3 loan processors there and they have blamed this long process on getting a new Title Company and a subordination. The subordination packet was sent to my 2nd mortgage incomplete and prolonged things even more. The customer service there is horrible, I would be lucky to get a response within a month of sending out an email. Only after telling them to stop the refinancing process did they contact me the very next day to offer discounts or to see if there was anything they could do. I am now using a new company to refinance and they got me to closing in 3 weeks!

This company is horrible to put it mildly. I am a real estate agent trying to help a client purchase a Fannie Mae owned home and this is a Home Path (Fannie Mae) lender. 3 days after we were supposed to close we followed up as we have been every day while we rarely got calls back from anyone . They told us the loan had been denied. Denied after the closing date while never being told there was a problem. W had pre qualification - was told all was moving forward when we did hear from them. How can this be - how can they treat people like this.

I just found out they had purchased my loan from Wells Fargo a month ago
They failed to notify me under (RESPA) (12U.S.C. section 2605) on top of that they assessed a 37.00 late fee to my account and my payment is not late. it would have been on the 17th of March . I have already made my payment and thank god i found out about this transfer when i did although a month ago when it happened would have been better

Where to start! I had first horizon some months back and during a hamp modification, my loan was sold to nationstar. I then had to start all over. This process should only take 90 days max and it took them 120 days and they denied me. Party due to information being more than 90 days old. I have been on the phone for hours trying to find someone who knows what is going on. I have had three four closure experts helping and currently deal with a fourth. There customer service is horrible, no one can return calls and you have to call to see what the hold up is. I recommend staying the hell away from nationstar and if you can get out... Do it! I am currently looking for an out that is not foreclosure.

Mortgage was sold from Citibank (after I asked them to refinance) to NationStar in November of 2017. I had to call them to 'check in' and was told I needed to submit a new automated deduction payment. I ask at the time if this was wrong, if it would be easy to change or cancel. She said yes. Come December I was charged twice for my mortgage. This 2-weeks before Christmas. It drained the account and savings. I called back and they told me I had to wait 30 days, pay an wire transfer fee and call my bank to have it cleared up. Uhm-no. I called Chase bank (my hero), told them of the double payment, which they quickly reversed. Now NationStar can deal with 'em. I saw this site and my heart sank. I guess my loan got sold to a high risk broker. Now I’m really screwed.

My loan was bought by Nationstar Mortgage in December of 2017. I was approved for a loan modification from my old mortgage company in July of 2017. Since Nationstar took over they have not honored the modification saying that the old company approved me but never processed the paperwork. I have received numerous letters and many phone calls saying that I am delinquent with my payments. I have sent them the proper amount every month as I was instructed per the agreement. Throughout all this nonsense my credit, which was always excellent, is now fair according to my credit score. This is wrong and they (Nationstar) should be held accountable.

EMC Mortgage sold my parents mortgage loan to NationStar Mortgage about 6 months ago. My parents are elderly with major health issue. NationStar Mortgage had me to complete paperwork for the making home affordable program. I completed the initial paperwork and was told that they qualify for the modification. They email me more paperwork and I completed that. I received a letter in the mail last week stating that my parents home was auction off on Feb. 1st and they need to move immediately.

I am outraged and want to know what can be done. My parents are in their 70's and my mom is doing in home hospice and now they have to leave their home.

I would love to file a class action lawsuit against this company!

My home loan originated with citizens first and when they went under, my loan was sold to nationstar. I have recently notified nationstar with inquiries regarding refinancing since my current loan is a 5 year arm. The representative I spoke with informed me that I was eligible for a loan modification because my home isn't "worth" what I am paying. So basically they are offering to forgive approx 40, 000 off the balance of my loan. I am just finding this hard to believe because I am not behind on my payments - just curious if anyone else has done this type of loan modification and if so - what is the catch ? I guess this isn't really a complaint - just trying to get some answers before I agree to do this. Thanks.

We were sold by gmac to nationstar, and our nightmares began. 6 yr. Loan, never late on a payment.
They put us in escrow-no notice—no call, and wanted$ 802.00 extra a month. Dec. 02, 2017 I faxed all proof of insurance and property taxes paid up to date. New years eve I get a call they never up dated anything, but they didn't for get to add late charges and fees. When this company was called centex we didn't like them, so we switched to gmac. So much for companys with any class or integrity. I'm 59 and i'm tired. This company has stressed me to the point of having bloody noses.
Sleeping is out of the question. Is there anyone that can help all of us.

My mother passed away exactly 4 wks after I moved into my new house, so I had to take over her bills as well as keep on top of my own. I explained to Nationstar that because I had to go thru the probate court system I would have to make payments in 3 month increments. The court staed I could not sell anything rent it out only fix it up..no problem they said. Well it was a problem. calls, harassment and beligerent reps screaming asking for my dead mother and saying things such as she had better call us or we will take her house...yeah right people. I called tried to get things straigtened out and REQUESTED A COPY of her mortage agreement since this was a refinance...1 year later and I am still waiting. Now I am told the house is in foreclosure even though I have records of the payments made, as well as the payments they have started sending back. Every time I call, I am on the phone no less than an hour and 15 minutes either on hold, getting transferred, or explaining all over again what the original arraignments were. now afetr being on the phone 90 minutes I was told call back later on this afternoon more reps will be here...
What a waste of time and energy and money...none of those people should get paid since they dont do anything but say I will have to tranfer you to someone who knows that info maam...

I am going through the exact same thing with them. I have sent in the requested documents and even had one of them tell me they had everything they needed, only to tell me a month later that they still needed the same documentation I already provided.

They charged a 12.00 fee and when I called they said it was not suppose to be there and would applied the 12.00 to my principle. When I just checked my account they did not apply it as stated so i called them again to be told it was for a prop inspection... WTH are they doing inspections for anyways? I am contacting my Attoney General. I never had a problem in 17yrs with my other company but nothing but problems now that they took over. Stick a fork in me cuz I am DONE.

We have had the same issue with this company. they kept telling us everything was ok and 6 days before closing they told us the loan was denied, after we had spent about a $1, 000 on all of the inspections and things. After this we went to anoth company and can not figure out why the loan was denied. This is the worst mortgage company to deal with.

They gave us a run around too and then charged us all these fees for them taking their sweet time and making a mistake in our paperwork. Also during the "re mod" process they reported a foreclosure on both our credits. What a joke!

The same thing happened to us. Nationstar explained to me the original lender did not have proper accounting practices. That was the only explanation we were given. When we realized they were unscrupulous we decided to do a "smart" business decision. We were going to off load our home, it was only worth half of the original amount. We attempted to short sale our house and Nationstar refused 2 cash offers. So, we let it go back to the bank.

Citi sold my loan to them too. This all started when I asked for a refinance with Citi. I had a long conversation with some guy that sounded like a snotty 13 year old boy. 24 hours later I get another call from them. This guy has no idea that I had the previous conversation and talked to me like I was a piece of trash. As of Dec 1 2017 I was 30 days late and they put my loan into default but I didnt find that out until Jan 20! I have 30 days to get caught up or theyle foreclose. We're on a fixed income and its not that easy. I filled out the financial hardship paperwork for Nationstar but all they only call to harrass me about being a few weeks late. No one has contacted me with options. It seems like theyve made up their minds to take my home. Granted Im 25 days late and I have to face the consequences but the notion that these guys are here to help is a joke!

They screw everyone . We have been being harrassed also. They placed us in a escrow account even though we have never had a lapse in our homeowners insurance. And our taxes are paid in full and we have never been late with a mortage payment. They are rude and out ant out lie. When you call them no one knows what the last person has said and they get belligerent when you try to explain anything. We have sent proof of our payments and homeowners insurance and paid taxes to no avail. Suing is looking like the only option here.

I agree with you. This company is so dirty I dont know how they are still in business. I wish I knew how to start a class action against them. I have kept all correspondance and statements, conversations, and check duplicates. I also have the check images from my bank. I just posted a notice on this board. I got foreclosure papers and I am only 132. behind on my payment. That is current and back charges.

Get a lawyer. Documentation is key. In your case you have a great possibility of suing them in a wrongful termination of a contract.
