Professional and honest
I called this company out based on my neighbors reviews. We had a water line leak in our front yard. The technician came out and found that it was on the city's side. Explained who to call and what to tell them. I asked if he would stand there while I called. He even spoke to the city's rep and told him what they found. It turned out to be the city'...

*** and *** installed an outdoor gas grill and side burner to the existing gas supply line from our propane tank
and *** installed an outdoor gas grill and side burner to the existing gas supply line from our propane tank. They were very knowledgeable and courteous. They were genuinely interested in learning exactly how we wanted the installation to look and clearly explained their proposed approach. They handled the new gas appliances carefully. The work was done professionally and efficiently. They cleaned up afterwards and even took away the gas appliances packing materials. I am very pleased with the results.

This was our first experience with My Georgia Plumber, *** and their service was exceptional!
This was our first experience with My Georgia Plumber, *** and their service was exceptional! Not only did they have a technician come out the same day we called, the manager stayed up late to get us a quote for a replacement water heater that took into account our families needs for a larger unit, matched a price that was within our budget, and had a technician out to do the install by morning! The Technicians were courteous, informative, and brought everything up to code for us. I will definitely consider My Georgia Plumber, *** for future plumbing needs.

from My Georgia Plumber was great at finding all the issues and making the correct fixes. He was very professional and on time. He did a wonderful job fixing the plumbing issues on an older house.
I picked them based on reviews and proximity to my house
I picked them based on reviews and proximity to my house. The first thing I noticed was how for a local company, their contact systems and billing seem like a big company. Lots of automation and you pay up front. I had a 2 part job and the first technician thought that the 2nd part would be an additional charge which was not as I understood it. So paying up front seemed risky. The first technician was not correct and the job was done well at the price that we agreed to. That's the bottom line for me and the reason for 5 stars. You agree to a price and competent people come resolve your issues.
The technicians that came were highly skilled and professional. I had a bath/shower diverter that was rusted out and broken off. The lead technician provided me with a complete and thorough explanation and description of the work that would be needed to repair it and what would be replaced. They were very thorough and very polite.
Great service every time they come out! Weve had them install a new gas line for a pool heater, theyve fixed kitchen leak and recently helped us with gas line for a new stove.
did a great job finding the leak outside and got repaired quick!
This is not my property I was trying to do something nice for my mother
This is not my property I was trying to do something nice for my mother. I am a CEO and CFO of the community, she trusted me while I stayed at her place while she was away for couple of days. I'm very unsatisfied after hearing how unsatisfied she is. The commodes are very narrow and they don't fit the space! I can see on every commode the old flooring and there was no silicone put around the commode. I am very unsatisfied. If this company doesn't come back and do right thing by the customer. I am canceling the credit card payment, hiring another company and having this company come pick up there narrow and cheap commodes.
This company My Georgia Plumber cracked my main installing a pressure valve and it put my basement apartment under water. We had about 3a of water. The 8 baseboards were swollen and we had some drywall damage. My Georgia plumber took responsibility and the service manager *** asked me to Not get my insurance involved and I agreed, because he said he was going to take care of the income loss. My basement is a very well booked Airbnb and we lost several hundred immediately with cancellations and the current tenant we had to get a hotel for. The remediation was good, the carpentry was lacking. They left a running board and we had black Mold underneath. I had to push to get that fixed as well. The crew cut the wood inside the apartment at the beginning and the sawdust thickly coated our HVAC filter being a cause for the blower burning up. They refused to pay that. The loss of income which is about $2000 + they are just ignoring that and keep hesitating. I have decided to get my home insurance involved now, but a mans word means nothing whether representing a company like My Georgia Plumber of not. I cannot recommend My Georgia Plumber and am very disappointed in their work ethics.
They were professional and informative. I will definitely use them again.
I have been using GA Plumber for 5 years. The scheduling is fast and the technician shows up on time. They send you a text when the technician is on his way and you can actually see where they are. They are always knowledgeable and kind. *** came today to look at our disposal. We ended up replacing it and they had one on the truck so it was all done in a timely manner. Him and his helper were very professional! Thanks
We needed our water heater replaced
We needed our water heater replaced. Our *** covered the cost for all labor, service, permits, the water heater, and replacement parts for the water heater. We were responsible for parts needed to make modifications. We were shocked when My Georgia Plumber came out and sent us an estimate for the cost of the parts for modifications totaling $1,006! This did not include labor or service. My husband and I did our homework and looked up the cost of these exact same parts at *** We spent $109.14 for the exact parts. We are so disappointed with company because they are trying to take advantage of their customers! It was clear that they were trying to double dip and get paid twice. Please do your homework and check your prices on your estimate.
This service call was placed through your home warranty company. In that process, every estimate and line item we submit is documented through the claim, which means it is not possible for us to “double dip.” We do not determine what is or is not covered under your policy, nor do we set the pricing for non-covered items—those are established and approved by the warranty company.
All of our estimates include both labor and materials. What you see on the estimate is not simply the cost of retail parts—it reflects code-approved materials, installation by a licensed plumber, testing, insurance, and the assurance that the work is completed to current safety standards.
Our responsibility is to follow warranty guidelines and provide professional, code-compliant service that we can stand behind for years to come. While retail prices may appear lower, they don’t account for professional installation, accountability, or warranty support.

Needless to say after I paid the *** to have him leave, i found the s*** under the sink and replaced it with plumbers putty (I had to pay *** for nothing and made the repair for $3.49 I am not believing any of their reviews
My **** included $494.92 for installing a new flush valve on the toilet that was running
My *** included $494.92 for installing a new flush valve on the toilet that was running. I can get a new toilet installed for less than $495 and a universal flush valve only costs $20-$25 at a big box store. Even with 30 min of labor, $495 is an outrageous price. My Georgia plumber was called because my water heater was leaking and I had them look at the toilet also. The connections to the hot water heater are PVC or CPVC. The estimate from My Georgia Plumber included a $273.36 charge for a *** which is required as a bridge between 2 dissimilar metals, like brass lines to a galvanized fitting at the hot water heater. When I told them to remove that charge from the *** because it wasn't necessary, they insisted I needed this union to upgrade my water heater installation to code. Based on this experience, I think the company preys on its customers.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Our pricing reflects more than just the cost of parts. It covers the expertise of licensed, insured plumbers, continuous training, proper installation, testing, and a warranty-backed repair. A flush valve or fitting may look inexpensive on a store shelf, but the value comes from having the work performed correctly, safely, and to code—by a company that will be here for years to stand behind it.
Regarding the water heater, transition fittings and code updates are not “extras.” They are required to meet today’s plumbing standards and protect your home from leaks, corrosion, or future failure. When our team completes a job, it’s done right the first time and in compliance with code, so you won’t be left with problems later.
Nothing in our pricing is out of line for a professional plumbing company that invests in its people and stands behind its work. While there may be lower-cost options available, those often come from unlicensed or uninsured sources that don’t provide the same quality, accountability, or long-term peace of mind.
Just bought the house and that's when unusual sounds of belching came form toilet and with flushing, water overflowed the toilet and backed up
Just bought the house and that's when unusual sounds of belching came form toilet and with flushing, water overflowed the toilet and backed up into shower drain. My Georgia Plumber came out initially and snaked the drain with what seemed to be resolution of the problem. A day later problem resurfaced. On return visit, Mike *** made his first visit. I could tell when he got out of his truck that he was already thinking about the problem from the notes of the previous tech. He felt that there must be a check valve somewhere which was malfunctioning. Sure enough his thinking was correct and problem solve (permanently) in 10 minutes. Experience and thinking seem to be lost these days. Mike is a refreshing example of how things should be done. If you have a complicated problem ask for Mike. Additionally, the staff answering the phone and doing scheduling couldn't have done a better job.5 STAR

They were sent to my home by *** for a busted water heater flooding my basement
They were sent to my home by *** for a busted water heater flooding my basement. Their plumber was so busy blinking $$ signs while telling me about all the code updated work hed have to do for the fix, he never inspected anything nor stop the water leak on the shut off valve I pointed out to him. They solicited the work for a higher price outside the warranty and sent two different estimates and items list to me and HSA. If I paid them with a cash out they would charge me $3,400 for the work.I called my home inspector who said the code work they claimed they had to do was unnecessary and I was being ripped off. I demanded a free second opinion from HSA and they sent another plumber out who agreed with my home inspector. HSA wont let you use the second contractor unless you cash out so I did. The second plumber charged me $1,405. TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS LESS. Buyer beware with this company. And check out the other negative reviews stating similar stories.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
When a home warranty company dispatches us, we’re required to follow their guidelines. Warranty coverage is determined by your provider, not by us. In many cases, older systems require code updates or additional parts to be brought up to today’s safety standards, and those items are not covered by the warranty. When that happens, we are obligated to provide both the warranty estimate (for the covered portion) and a customer estimate (for uncovered items). This is why you may have seen two sets of pricing.
We never want a customer to feel pressured or confused, which is why we always encourage reviewing estimates, asking questions, and—when needed—seeking a second opinion through the warranty company. We respect that you did so and are glad you found a resolution that worked for you.
That said, it’s important to note:
We do not determine what is covered or excluded under your policy—that is up to the warranty provider.
Our plumbers are required to disclose when safety or code requirements are present, even if not covered, so you can make an informed decision.
Estimates can vary between contractors based on scope, materials, and approach, but our pricing reflects licensed, insured work performed to code.
We take feedback seriously and are always working to improve communication so situations like this feel clearer from the start. If you’d like to discuss your experience further, please reach out directly—we’d welcome the chance to talk it through.
It is very sad that companies such as this are preying on old people
It is very sad that companies such as this are preying on old people. They completely over charged my 87 yo mother whom I do not live with. I was visiting and mentioned she needed a new flapper perhaps for her toilet. She said she would call a ***. I do not live in her area. I later learn she called My Georgia *** and they came out. They totally took advantage of my mother and charged her 435 .00 to replace a flapper and pipe in the toilet. I called and asked what they did and without even looking at the invoice said his technicians are trained to diagnose and charge. This guy was 21 and said he taught himself plumbing. Mind you this is a company who sent him. He told my mother, and proceeded to tell her very elaborate repairs that were needed. He said I will wave the 145 dollar fee if she would let him fix part of it today. So for a new flapper and pipe in the toilet , it was 435 dollars. I called the company. They take no responsibility. Said I could telll them next time they have to go through me. I said not necessary. There would not be a next time.
This was not a simple flapper replacement. The technician presented several options—including a basic flapper replacement at a lower cost—and your mother chose a complete toilet tank rebuild. That repair involves multiple components and ensures the toilet is restored to full function, not just patched with a quick fix. She was pleased with both the repairs and the technician who completed them.
For clarity, you were not present during the service, and we do not discuss a customer’s private business with unauthorized individuals. Your mother did not authorize us to speak with you on her behalf. She was fully competent at the time of service and made her own decision. We respect our customers’ independence and their ability to make their own informed decisions, and we stand behind the work that was completed to her satisfaction.
It is also inaccurate to suggest that our technicians are “21 and self-taught.” The technician on site was 33 years old, with a family, and had years of experience. Every lead technician with our company has a minimum of three years of hands-on training as a helper and/or technical training at an approved plumbing school before being promoted to lead. Even experienced plumbers who join us go through a ride-along process to confirm their skills and ensure they meet our standards before ever going out on their own. We do not hire untrained or self-taught plumbers.
As with all of our work, pricing includes labor, materials, warranty, insurance, and the professionalism of a licensed company that stands behind its repairs.
This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any vendor
This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any vendor. They are a scam and it's shocking that American Home Shield continues to use them as a service provider. I tried to get a simple leaky faucet fixed for over 7 weeks. To then be told it was not covered because it wasn't normal wear and tear. How did the technician come to that conclusion by walking in my kitchen and leaving my home two minutes later? I'm assuming they are using the fact that they replaced my pressure regulator valve a few weeks prior as the excuse. Then, I'm being told that I would need to pay them over $372 to replace to stems that cost $17 each at Home Depot. How coincidental. A new cross handle for $135? You mean the one that's on Amazon for $33? They also gave me a quote to replace my outside water spicket for a very reasonable $589! Really? To replace a $15 part? Oh, but that also included adding a water shut off value to "get to code". You mean the water cut off valve I have? The first tech at my house couldn't find it but the tech on the second trip found it with no problem. This company makes Comcast look amazing.
This call was dispatched through your home warranty company, where coverage determinations are made by the warranty provider—not by us. We’ve been a trusted vendor with American Home Shield for over 12 years and follow their procedures by the book on every claim.
The items you referenced were only part of the total repair. Estimates include all labor and materials needed to complete the work properly, up to code, and with a warranty—not just the cost of one or two retail parts. While individual components may appear inexpensive at a store or online, the real value comes from having a licensed, insured plumber perform the repair safely and correctly.
We understand warranty outcomes can be frustrating, but our role is to follow the warranty process, document everything, and provide professional service options when coverage does not apply.

We have no record of this customer or of the situation described. Our company documents every service call from start to finish, including technician notes, photos, and communications, and nothing in our records matches what is written here.
My Georgia Plumber is a licensed, insured company that has served thousands of homeowners in Georgia for over 30 years. We stand behind our work, and if an issue ever arises, we address it through proper channels. Claims of this nature would always involve thorough documentation, resolution steps, and, if necessary, coordination with insurance carriers.
We take reviews seriously, but in this case, we respectfully note that this account does not align with any service we have performed.
The worst company
The worst company. They failed to file on my home warranty and I was huddled to pay them on-site and told me the warranty company declined, but they NEVER got approval from the warranty as the diagnosis was never submitted. After months of trying to get my money refunded and requested they get paid from my warranty company by doing they right thing, they still have not done so. I provided them with my credit card, but the warranty company asked that I dispute payment while they worked out payment with them. Warranty company diligently tried to get the diagnosis from them, but they failed to provide. I had to pay a deductible of $75 using my bank card before they set up the appointment. Months after begging them to work with warranty to seek payment from them they still failed to cooperate. Without authorization, they took the almost $600 from my bank account without authorization. I have filed a fraud investigation against them. I want my money refunded and they get paid from my warranty company. Everytime I call them they say the claim was denied, which it was not because they did not submit the diagnosis for the warranty company. They are very dishonest and hustled me, a single mom, from the beginning. I feel they price gouged because they charged me more than what they probably submitted to the warranty company. The reason I have a warranty company is to take care of any surprises that *** arise. I dont understand why any company doesnt do the right thing. They lack integrity for sure. Will NEVER do business with them again.
This service was completed under a home warranty claim and the repair was approved. Unfortunately, the warranty company failed to pay.
Before any work was performed, you signed our agreement twice acknowledging that if the warranty company did not pay, you would be responsible for the balance, and that the card on file would serve as the back-up payment method. This is standard practice across the industry to ensure repairs can still move forward when warranty companies delay or deny payment.
We pursued payment directly with the warranty company for many months and notified you along the way, even asking for your assistance in helping them resolve the balance, but you refused to contact them. After 6 months, when payment was still not made, we were left with no choice but to process the back-up payment method you had authorized in advance. If there was not a signed contract in place stating your guarantee of payment, your credit card issuer would have refunded a "fraudulent" charge. That was not the case, you received services, we billed your third-party provider, they refused to pay, you agreed to pay if they did not.
Our company submitted the diagnosis, followed the warranty process, and completed the approved repair. We stand by our work and by our commitment to performing professional, code-compliant service for every customer.
I've been a customer for almost 3 years
I've been a customer for almost 3 years. I recently had a very disappointing experience with My Georgia Plumber. I called on a Sunday as my tankless water heater stopped working. When I placed the call, I told them that if the techs didn't have experience with tankless units, they wouldn't' be able to help me, as the manager has always been involved with past repairs / diagnoses. Of course the on call crew had to call their manager for guidance on the issue. They told us we needed a part, they'd order it Monday & be in touch for the repair trip. They then decided they needed to send a senior technician out to reassess the issue & charged me $189 for that trip, which I DIDNT REQUEST - that was their decision to do so. In my opinion, not my fault if you need to send a 2nd crew to assess. The 2nd crew did some trouble shooting, even called the manufacturer tech support for help. After their trouble shooting, I was told my circuit board was fried & since the unit wouldn't power / fire up, they couldn't diagnose it. They gave me 3 options for repairs & I told them to quote all of them. I was absolutely floored by the price gouging (minimum of $1100 to try & fix) & decided to get a 2nd opinion. Had a different plumber out, also not well versed in tankless units, but he managed to *** enough that he was able to fix my unit & give me hot water again (after 5 day of cold showers) for $50. He did some basic checking & cleaning of the main connections, & the unit fired right up. So, my circuit board wasn't fried, I didnt need to spend a minimum of $1100 to maybe try & fix it. Seems like the issue should have been part of "Troubleshooting 101", but maybe they missed that *** Oh, & they wont refund my charges, so I have to dispute those with the credit card company. Talk about Customer NO ***. I will not use again, I will not recommend to anyone.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Check Yelp and Facebook for reviews of how they gouge with a home warranty company. Unethical and fraudulent. Should be out of business.

Excellent honest work. They arrived on time and found the problem we were having with a blocked kitchen pipe. The solution was simple and now I can cook xmas dinner without worrying about a blocked kitchen drain. A million thanks!
