My sump pump stopped working and needed to be fully replaced. I have used Precision Today Plumbing previously for a new water heater. They have very professional technicians. They followed all best practices regarding COVID-19 while working in my house. I will definitely use them again as the need arises. My technician's name is Billy Lambert. He did a beautiful job installing the new pump. I highly recommend them.

The service man was in and out of my house within about 15 minutes and fixed the problem. He even showed me what he had done to fix the problem, so if it happens again, I might be able to fix it on my own. He was very courteous and professional at the same time. He has been here before and did his work in the same manner as today. I would recommend Precision Today to anyone I came across needing plumbing work.Thank you.

I had a service technician by the name of [technician's name] cone to my home today, besides him being professional, he was very respectable with my home (wearing his shoe protectors) which I truly appreciated! He also went above and beyond to ensure that my drain pipe was cleared. I truly will request for him to come and do my yearly inspections on my heating and A/C unit going forward. I will also let friends and family know about the company, PrecisionToday!

They charged 83 yr old woman $1200 for routing a drain. We have it done every year because of tree roots in our front yard growing into drain. We have never paid more than $250. We got estimates just recently from three other drain cleaning companies the highest being $350, the other two more around $250. I have went in basement and watched these guys every time it was done so I know whats involved and how much time it takes. These people flat cheated a old woman, I wouldnt let them clean a dogs drain. Beware!

My young man was amazing! He showed up on time, told me what he was going to do and did it. He also gave me a review of my system. I really appreciated his professionalism to my concerns. I would be proud to offer the services of this company to any of my neighbors who would be in need of plumbing repairs. Thanks for being available when I needed you. We were extremely pleased with Paul's exceptional work. We had a few plumbing issues that required Paul's attention. He assessed each problem and provided an explanation on what was occurring. We knew what it would cost to have all the repairs done prior to him starting the job. Therefore, it was no surprises when he finished. I specifically like the fact that Paul took time to provide a rationale as to why the plumbing issue had occurred. Paul is very knowledgeable and provides exceptional services. I will request Paul for any future plumbing needs and I will tell my friends as well.

My technician Niko, was excellent..:showed up earlier than expected, was polite and very kind. I was so upset that in all my adult yearsI had never clogged a toilet with a makeup container. Niko made me feel at ease and assured me he would be able to fix it by Monday (as today was Saturday). Just when I started feeling like things would be okit got even better, Niko left and returned within 1 hr with a new toilet, installed it and was all done! In addition, when I called around, everyone told me in 4 or 5 days. Precision responded immediately and came out the time I requested! ? this company!

Of the five companies I called, Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical was the only one that could come that day. Their technician came out and assessed the problem. He told me there were several options to solving the problem but did not pressure me as to which option would be best. I was impressed by his professional manner and his willingness to answer all the questions I had. I elected to have the technician come the next day and work on the drain. The company called me 45 minutes before the technician arrived and sent a picture and name of this individual. He too was punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would definitely use Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical again!

Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical did a great job Tuesday. I believe the technician volunteered before going home. We are so appreciative. He diagnosed the problem immediately. He was kind enough to talk to the person at the home warranty to approve the charges which never happened for the better part of a half hour to no avail. He told us Thursday to get it fixed but called another technician out just in case something opened up Wednesday. It was the end of his day but he never rushed us or made us feel like we were bothering him. The technician provided excellent customer service and a correct diagnosis. We were so distraught with our situation. When he left, it was a weight lifted off our shoulders. Thank you.

The technician arrived as scheduled, was professionally friendly, and knowledgeable about what was needed. Greatly appreciated his customer service and taking the minute to walk me thru what he saw on a second issue I had, which I wasn't expecting him to have time to do today. Not only did he do the main job but then also took the time to take a look at and he fixed what a previous plumber had not after two visits. I plan to work with Precision Today going forward as it was a great experience. The technician kept things calm and professional and walked me thru what was being done and never once made me feel uncomfortable with stuff I'm not an expert at. Great work and friendly demeanor was super refreshing.

About two weeks ago, Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical came to my house to assess the problem with a toilet not flushing properly. Since it was the second time in 6 months that this problem presented, the plumber suggested coming back with a camera inspection. Previously I wrote about how helpful, "spot on" with assessing problems that is Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical explains the situation clearly and thoroughly. So, on the scheduled date, the plumber and technician came to my house for the above-mentioned problem. The technician is someone who knows how to make a good, a very good, impression in the first minute of meeting him. He is personable, friendly, courteous, and focused on the client's problem, just as is the plumber. After his assessment, he explains the plumbing situation with great clarity and thoroughness, again, just as does the plumber. In addition to this, the technician has plumbing pieces to demonstrate how they will be utilized for repair. Being a visually oriented person, I found this extremely interesting and helpful. I had a leak under my kitchen sink and called Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical. They send a technician out who identified the problem as two leaky valves. He replaced the valves, took payment for $277 and left. The next day, my wooden kitchen floor was flooded. I again called Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical, who send a different technician out. He said the problem was actually the faucet and that it had to be replaced. The charge would be $458, if I provided the faucet, and that would include a credit to me of $277 for the inferior work that was done. I rejected the offer and stopped payment on the check. I got a call from [Name]. I told him I had an offer from a different company to install the faucet for $170. [Name] said he thought they could match that offer and he would get back to me. He never did. Well, my floor boards are warped and need to be replaced, Thanks for insurance but the kitchen will be walled off with plastic sheeting for five days. I wish I had never called Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical. The review requires me to click on a star rating. I will click on one star to get this closed but Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical would get zero stars from me if that were a choice.

I had a gas leak and called Precision. They told me that they could be at my house on Sunday morning between 9 and 9:15 am. They assured me that it didn't cost more to come out on Sunday as opposed to any other day. I had an appointment with another company for Monday morning that I cancelled since Precision could get there quicker. They told me there was a $69 fee for them just to come out and assess the problem. I had every intention of just having them do the work and go into work a couple of hours late that day. The Nicor rep that told me that I had a leak said it should cost less than $500 to repair. Precision texted me Sunday morning and said that their guy would be closer to 10 am. He didn't get to my house until 10:30. I wouldn't have made the appointment if they told me that from the start. The tech that they sent ended up telling me that it was going to be a huge job with 5 hours of labor and cost over $1,000. Very frustrated, I paid the $69 fee and sent him on his way. I ended up calling another company that only charged me $250 and it took less than 90 minutes. I don't know if they just sent the wrong tech out that didn't know what he was doing, or if this is the practice of Precision Plumbing to over quote and over charge.

CONSUMER BEWARE! Wish you could select no stars...I called Precision Today when my hot water heater was leaking and water was coming through the walls of my neighbor's home below me. A plumber from this company arrived within an hour and, after completing an assessment, presented me with four options ranging from $4500-$10000. I was in disbelief that the cost of replacing the unit would cost this much. My neighbor was very upset and, in a panic, I asked him to just replace the unit...don't want the service plan and all the other upselling he was trying to do. A few hours later, the job was done and I was presented with an invoice for $4572.00...unbelievable. The invoice did not break down the cost of materials or labor. I asked for this and the plumber said that they do not provide this information. After a few phone calls to the company, I finally received and email (not a revised invoice) that stated the materials costs were $2765.38 and the total cost of the job including travel, assessment fee, and 1 year warranty came to $4572.00. Simple math tells me that they charged me $2293.38 for labor. At best, it took the plumber 3 hours to complete this job which equate to $760/hr for labor...really? It's hard for me to believe that this company can take advantage of people and have a low rating with the ComplaintsBoard.com. I'm left with the question, "Do they pick and choose who to take advantage of? Maybe single women who are in a panic situation with water leaking in their home?" It can't be true that all these folks who give them high ratings are very satisfied if they had been ripped off too.

Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical came out on 3/24 to look into drain(s) backup in basement. Precision told me they could only camera 15ft out and referred me to Permaseal or another reputable company for a new drain tile system. I called another plumber for a second opinion and they were able to camera out 120ft. The issue turned out to be a collapsed exterior pipe due to tree roots, not the drain tile as Precision initially suggested. I called Precision twice, leaving messages both times to discuss the issue, but unfortunately, they have not returned my calls. As a result, I had to pay another plumber for the same work to identify and resolve the problem.

March 28 - April 1 Amount paid 512.27 (First visit, plumber originally quoted 300, but stated if I wanted to make sure I don't have any other issues with my toilet leaking, I should pay for a stronger seal at 512.27) Amount paid 2,100 (Ask for a different plumber who was able to find the source of the leak because the toilet leaked the following day, after being sold on purchasing the stronger seal and paying extra) Amount paid 886. (New toilet and installation) I should be compensated for all or at least part of the first payment 512. 27 because the work performed had to be undone by the second plumber. The first plumber was not able to find the source of the leak. I would be willing to accept a voucher for future work with no expiration date.

On August 11, I contacted Precision Today Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical and told them the pilot light was out for my water heater. They said a serviceman could come and check it out, and there would be a $34 service fee for coming out to look at it. I agreed to this, thinking it would cost $34 plus the work charge. The guy came and relit the pilot light, it took about 10 minutes and they charged us $225.50! At NO time did the person on the phone OR the serviceman tell me the fee would be $191.50 for relighting a pilot light! He didn't replace anything or dismantle the water heater at all, just relit the pilot light, turned it off, and lit it again, and for that charged us $191.50 plus $34, a total of $225.50! We are senior citizens and I am a US Navy veteran, is this how they treat all senior citizens? Who else have they mis-informed and over-charged? I contacted their office and was told the service manager would call me to discuss the matter which he did not do. Poor treatment!

Called the business and they came to check the furnace on 9/30/22. When they came they said there was a crack in the furnace. They said i needed a new furnace. He asked for my social security number and i put it in on the ipad and he said you are approved for financing. Also said I need new air conditioner. Said i should pay $148.00 a month and it would be $9,000.00 for furnace and ac. he said you also need new humidifier for $700.00. Everything came to $10,400.00. I still didnt sign anything yet. but he said give me $500.00 which i wrote a check for the amount. I aesked about interest and he said there was no interest. I will be here tomorrow , oct 1st to install everything with one other person. On October 1st at 8am he show up with and said he had to leave and would only stay for delivery. The furnace was delivered at 1:30 pm and everything was installed. The ac is too big and i dont want it. The company mailed me an invoice which states i have to pay $15,898.00 after telling me there were no finance charges. I am a senior citizen and feel i was taken advantage of . I want the finance charges removed as i was told there would be none and i want the air conditioner removed from my home as it is too big. I have no contract with the business just an invoice for $15,898.00 and i want this billing adjusted
