I’m a new M & T Bank customer I have never experienced customer service like this in my entire lifetime as long as I could remember. It was the worst experience ever! I have spoken in the last 9 days to most unprofessional, non helpful people. I have been given 9 different answers regarding the release of my paycheck that was deposited on 11/03. I was told by the online mobile app that my funds would be available on 11/09 I declined the request because I needed my funds immediately so I went to the local branch and they locked their doors 3 minutes before they closed. So I went to their atm and made the deposit with the hopes that some or all my funds would be available. I then called to see when my funds would be available the 2 CS reps stated I could see them within 24-48 hours because sometimes the system would allow that to happen or I may see my funds on Monday. Monday came no funds. I call CS and was told that it takes 5 business days for a deposit to a new account open less than 30 days to become available. I explained to the rep that I have made a deposit before through the app and I had my funds available that day after the bank change me a fee. I spoke to 3 reps that day and they were no help or even tried to direct me to someone who could. I was told I should see my available funds on 11/08 or 11/09. On today 11/09 my funds are still not available so I call CS and I spoke to 4 CS was located in Millsboro Delaware they were the most unprofessional reps I have ever spoken to one person name jasmine was laughing as I was explaining my situation and frustration and she claims she was a supervisor who I was transferred to from the previous CS rep earlier. They she rudely transferred me to another rep who stated that she was jasmine supervisor and she was unprofessional and not helpful then the last person I spoke with was Marlene and I only ask for the corporate telephone number she didn’t want to give it to me and wanted to place me on hold and transfer me to a supervisor I told her not to because I didn’t ask for one but she it anyway and had me on hold for over 10 minutes and then came back and gave me an address. I have banked with a number of banks and I never EVER ! had a horrible experience then m & t I understand the 5 day check deposit policy all banks do it but they at least give their customers partial funds availability so they won’t be inconvenienced but not M & T they don’t care they don’t even try to assist the customers. As of now I still don’t have access to my money and I have bills that are overdue and I can’t get no help from this lousy bank!
