I had a contract with mrp mobile which I settled last year September on the 28th, I called in to let them know that it has been paid off, I wanted to cancel it and I told them to please send me a letter for cancellation, the lady I spoke to said I'd be cleared and will receive that letter, however my credit score is still bad and it's still written an amount I owed around july.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
The same thing happened to me I've taken out a MRP mobile phone and paid it off a year then another month went buy and my debit orders went off after I phoned to stop my policy because my payment was done for one year, it was 2017...it's now 2022 and each month my debit order goes off I am out of the country...is this fraud...? This is unacceptable...I will phone head office tomorrow I've had enough of this!
Mr price is not the good store that you can do the contract with what they need is your signature to agree with them then they start enjoying your money when you have contract with them is like you have to the naive on your neck they don't laugh when it comes to chaw your money non stop they don't care at all so you better run away from that store before you hang yourself by there contract since 2017 until know they need money from me even the contract is finished imagine there heartless those people
My Mr Price mobile contract expired July 2021. A consultant called me for an upgrade, after which I said that I did not want to continue with the contract and that it should be cancelled. The person did not help me by saying that I have to cancel it in writing by email. Another person then contacted me again almost 6 months later and said I was in arrears with payments. Again I requested that the contract be cancelled. She then gave me the following email address support@mrpricemobile.com which bounced back after 2 attempts.
Your consultants are extremely incompetent. None of them can pass on the right information. The public is uninformed and is not being helped by your consultants. The phone number no longer exists. I refuse to pay for anything after the contract has expired because I was given the wrong information by YOUR consultants. I DON'T WANT THE CONTRACT ANYMORE. PLEASE CANCEL IMMEDIATELY.

I have a contract with Mr price mobile. With in a year the phone was stolen. I contacted your offices and 2as given wrong advice eventually when I figured out the details I couldn't claim for a new phone through insurance and to.d the lady to cancel my contract. I phoned numerous times and was never told how to go about to cancel I was told to pay a certain amount and then the contract will be canceled and she never once mentioned that I have to do it via email. So please this is my final letter to cancel my contract with your company.please send me a reference number for cancelation of contract. P C Rudman

Do Yourselves, NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER get a contract with Mr Price Mobile. Just buy cash, you'll be fine. They won't even give you notice for when your contract ends with them, They'll keep taking your money till thy kingdom come! They will ignore your calls and emails. If you don't believe me, GO AHEAD!
True. Speaking from experience. Still paying 4 years later. Received a faulty phone from the beginning. No replacement. No service. No responses to emails and requests for cancellation. I have stopped the debit orders with ny bank numerous times, but MrP mobile just comes back 3 months later and claim all "outstanding" debit orders. They have just taken extra money from me for MORE THAN TWO YEARS AFTER THE CONTRACT HAS ENDED. I AM TIRED OF THIS, IT AMOUNTS TO STEALING.
