I spent hours trying to create an account, only to be blocked by an error claiming my phone number was “already in use.” I only have ONE phone and ONE number. I can receive verification codes just fine — I never once said otherwise.
Despite explaining this repeatedly, support kept copy‑pasting the same script and even closed my case based on a completely false assumption that I “couldn’t receive the code.” They never identified the account holding my number, never attempted verification, and never escalated the issue properly.
Their system created multiple accounts when I tried logging in through Facebook, iCloud, Gmail, etc., yet none of those accounts had my number attached. Instead of fixing the problem, they blamed me, suggested I “forgot” an account that doesn’t exist, and then shut the ticket down.
The final email literally told me they “can’t remove the number” — even though I am the verified owner of the number and can receive texts. They refused to investigate, refused to verify, and refused to correct their own system error.
This is not customer service.
This is a support team reading from a script and closing tickets without solving anything.
If this is how they handle something as basic as account verification, I can’t imagine trusting them with anything more serious.
