Rec'd two charges in the same month from this company that weren't authorized. When I called the number on my statement [protected] I was kept on hold for a long period, the phone was answered, "Credit Reporting" and then they asked me to verify my credit card number, then I was disconnected. This happened twice. It was then I called my credit card company, canceled my current card and was issued a new number.

I am being charged $12.95 for a mini credit report monnitoring service for which I did not sign for. What can you do to help me. I called the [protected] which was listed next to the charge on my bill, but was told this number was incorrect. Please tell me how I can take care of this problem. Thank-you for your help and concern.

My checking account has been charged $12.95 for the past two (2) months without my authorization. While I remember getting on-line to check into "free credit report.com", I have not authorized the services of your company. The last withdrawal of $12.95 resulted in an overdraft of $35.00. It is requested that you refund my account with the two (2) withdrawals of $12.95 plus the $35.00 overdraft. It is also requested that you stop IMMEDIATELY withdrawing funds from my account.

I too have received the unauthorized charge of $12.95. I check my bank every day online and caught it in a "pending" status. My bank indicated it was, in fact, a fraudulent charge that they were familiar with. They canceled my card immediately and reported the claim for a refund to my account. They indicated it could have been authorized unknowingly when clicking on "I accept these terms" during an online transaction. Sometimes the disclaimer authorizes 3rd party companies access to the card number. I have no reason for a second credit monitoring service since I already have one through American Express.

This will not make me stop shopping online, but I will have to thoroughly read everything... What a pain...

I pulled a credit report on myself several months ago and I DID NOT sign up for monthly credit monitoring services. I knew it was a waste on money but my credit card was being charged every month $11.95 for the service. I called the number someone posted previously and AISA the rep asked for my SS#. She said the service was signed up for in Aprl 2008 which I told her I did not authorize. She said it was either a yes or no answer. I never said yes! I asked her to cancel and she did, also giving me a cancel confirmation number. This is horrible...Just to see so many people having the same problems with this issue. I hope a class action lawsuit will be filed against this company.

These people are frauds. I had to cancel a debit card because of unauthorized use. They said they would debit it one dollar and then crdit it one dollar that was not done and I had to get a new debit card which cost me 5 dollars.

They are currently trying to charge me on a GM card. I am not going to pay these liars 12.95 for anything. They said I missed a check box. This is bogus bull.

These people should be shut down.

fraud alert. They have been charging my credit card for more than 6 months, and I finally got my AMEX to credit back upto two months of charge. This is a serious crime, and authority has to take actions against this company immediately. I have filed a police report and wrote letter to FTC.

Indeed a scam. I never signed up this mini credit report.com and had 2 charges of $11.95 posted to my chase credit card bill. After calling mini credit report I got a customer agent that got upset with me because I wouldnt give out my social security number. I was then transferred to another agent that told me that 2 other individuals other than myself signed up for the service and had it charged to my card. The only way that he said that I could get it off is if I faxed him a copy of my credit card statement. I am thinking you..."are you crazy"? I am going to fax all of my credit card statements and information to somone who wouldnt give me their last name or verfication that this was actually a legitimate business. I refused, called Chase and they are "so-called" going to refuse the charges. If they dont, that will end my relationship with Chase credit card. Unfortunately, I should not have been investigating this on my own. Chases fraud department should have down this service for me. Thanks everyone for all of your input, it was very helpful. I just dont seem to understand how this company can rightfully stay open and avoid any lawsuits from the Better Business Bureau. This reeks of an ok'd scam on innocent comsumers.

I called this company this morning, they asked me to fax my power of attorney to them since im not on the account with my husband and he is overseas serving our country.. this is the first time this company has ever asked for my POA. I took it to my local bank they faxed it to this company. 20 mins later I called the company again asked them if it was being cancelled today, they assured me that it is.. they gave me cancellation # so we will see if there is another charge on our account on the 29th.. because that is when they have been taking the money out.

Good Luck to everyone that is still fighting them! If you need any pointers feel free to e-mail me.

God Bless!

I agree with everyone!
This company continues to take $5.95 out of my Husband and I's account it's so annoying! I have called the company they say they wont continue to charge card but they do! I have been down to my local bank and they can't even make them quit!
I will continue to fight this company, we victims need to get this fradulent business taken down!
By the way my husband is a Sailor and this company has put a lot more stress in my life then I need! with my husband having back to back deployments and struggling with bills as it is this company is unforgiving! in my opinion they DO NOT support OUR TROOPS! because I have told this company about my husband being in the military and him contacting his JAG officer about this. They wont budge.
P.S. Isn't it intesting how this company takes diff amounts of money out of each of our accounts? Shouldn't it be consistent?

Mini Credit Card services double billed my credit card, signing up both my husband and myself when I requested credit reports on both of us.

I cancelled my account, although they were resistant to do so and tried to hang up on me.

I phoned my credit card carrier and was able to solve the problem. It is not a good idea to cancel the card and recieve another CARD, as they will continue to bill your cancelled card. My credit card carrier is filing a complaint on my behalf and refusing to pay them.

I learned it is not a fraud, but more like a scam. As they say: BUYER BEWARE!

I also have been scamed. Mini credit services has also been debiting my VISA account without my authorization. I have made several attempts to cancel this authorization with no success. What should I do now, close my accounts. Seems that they can access your accounts by by social security numbers. What next!

To all, I also called [protected]. They cnfermed that my "Order" was cancelled. I called the 866# about 20 minutes ago, then called again to see if it was cancelled and they told me no, So I found the above number on the internet and called to cancel with them. They sent an email confermation, I waited a few minutes and called back to see if it was cancelled through them. And it was! I hope all my typing is useful to everyone. Sorry, I just want to look out for everyone because it sucks to be scammed! I'm just glad that I actually checked my account to see what debit card purchases I made and found something before it went on for months.

OK, I just found that I am in this mix too. I called my bank to see why I was charged 11.95 and who it was from. They told me it was from MINI credit report services and gave me this number to call them and see what was the deal. [protected].
I called them and found that it is Freecreditreport.com. I got the guy's name and ID number and cancelled all future charges. He told me that on their web page it says it is a 30 day free trial and after 30 days, if you have not cancelled, they will charge you monthly. So, after talking to him, I called my bank and asked them to not let charges from that company or for that amount take any money out of my account. So, I hope it all works out. I don't know what numbers everyone has, but try the one I gave you and I hope it does you good! Remember to get their name and ID number!

I've been charge since December 07. I went into one of those free credit report sites and a month later they started charging me. I am usually extremely careful about clicking the right buttons, so I am not charged. These guys suck. ###s like this should be forced to dine on their own genitals.

I, too, have been trying to cancel my mini report fees that appear on my Chase account monthly in the amount of 12.95. i called the bank card and they claim that they cannot stop the payment. My complaint is that I do not receive the monthly reports and I am still billed for the service. There has to be something that consumers can do. If not, I plan to cancel my Chase account.

I have been charged for the past 10 months on my bank account but they (the bank told me I would have to call the minicredit report people. Well, I have called the [protected] number and was told that it was under my husbands name so he would have to call and cancell it. We never signed up for this but like others we have been magically signed up for it. I even tried to use the service but have no idea how to get to their web site. I feel very uncomfortable giving out my social security number to them or my bank account number when have no idea who or what they are. Is there no answer for this?

I join many others in this scam. Mini Credit Service has been debiting my VISA account without my authorization. Unless there is some other rout, I'm going to submit my complaint to my state's Attorney General. Anyone with any advise, please let me know.

Wow! This MINI credit company SUCKS ###! They charged me like 5 times. Therefore, I called my bank and they returned 3 of the fraudulant charges. Thank God. The lady I spoke with then proceeded to call the minicredit report company and they hung up on her as soon as she said "Hi this is bank of America." What a bunch of ###s. They better not charge me ever again. For all the people out there with the same problem, good luck! This business needs to be shut down permanently because they are fraudulent money-eating ###-heads.

I also have been charged twice, I called the company and told the lady to stop charging my card that I did not authorize these charges. I was told that they would not stop charging. I have to call my credit card and cancel the card.
