Avoid Milani Heating and Air Conditioning if you value good customer service and reliability. I had a new furnace and heat pump installed, but the experience was a nightmare. The installation crew was great, but the electrician they subcontracted damaged my bathroom drywall, which cost me $300 to fix, he left a huge mess. The real problems started the next day when a strong burning smell filled my house, causing coughing, itchy eyes, and sore throats. Customer service was unprofessional and unhelpful, with the representative seemingly more interested in dismissing my concerns than resolving the issue. It took multiple calls, threats of legal action, and a long wait for someone to show up and fix the problem on a Saturday. The technician who finally fixed the issue seemed grumpy and uncooperative. Follow-up attempts to get paperwork sorted out for the Fortis BC rebate were also a struggle. When I finally got to speak to a supervisor, Nicholas Rosswood, he downplayed the entire experience and seemed more interested in defending the company than apologizing for the poor service. Needless to say, I would not recommend Milani to anyone."
