Tom was very nice man, he explained what he was going to do, made some very good suggestions, gave me prices for all me enquiries. He installed a new GFI plug in the kitchen. He then went over all he found, gave a complete evaluation on the electrical system; he even changed the battery in the smoke alarm because I am not able to do this. Thank you Fox and Sons you always employ the best.

Had a multi mini split system installed yesterday and are very pleased with the results. Nathan and his co-worker did an excellent job and cleaned up after their work. They were extremely knowledgeable about their product and made great suggestions to achieve the optimum setup. The installation happened when promised and was completed over 2 days. Absolutely recommend this company, thank you Fox Plumbing and Heating.

Think twice if you have a disability. Mine is ***. In spite of being offered a media choice of telephone, text, or email (I chose text), this business has yet answer any of my texts or emails. Twice over the past eight days I received emails and texts promising of an appointment "tomorrow". After eight days none has come, and email and text queries are ignored. I have never been treated by such disrespect by a vendor.

Last year we were so impressed with the service that we recommended you to our daughter and son-in-law. They were not impressed with the service at all .This week we had Fox back and were not impressed one bit with the service. He spent more time in his truck then he spent in our house. Quotes were ridiculous as they were with our daughters case. E.G. *** We will not recommend again to anyone.

I would NEVER recommend this company based on Carrie who works answering the phone. She is there MOST rude, aggressive, unprofessional person I've encountered. She yelled at me and argued me about coming to my house on short notice and letting her in my home without anyone being there and accused me of going to bed at 730 when I wouldn't let her come over at 8pm on an evening with 15 minutes notice. She should be let go and should NOT be dealing with people. Zero people skills.

Fox and Sons is always just trying to cash grab at all costs. To be able to reach a real person, you need to pay their Preferred Customer fee, monthly. Also, I just had them out for their $99 plumbing check, which said it included a leak check monitor, which the tech new nothing about. He called his manager, who said he would come the next day, and do it. They never came, and it has been a week. When I mentioned this in their follow up email, it was never even acknowledged. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy

I appreciated the very thorough job two different men from Fox presented to me! One regarding the results of checking out our furnace and his thorough options to look at. Our furnace is 30 years old! Then later found the next man very thorough in sharing all the options available for us regarding a furnace replacement! They weren't pushy, but did a great job of assessing my needs and what would potentially be a best fit for our household. Wonderful, thorough assessments and great providing explanations I was able to understand!

Fox deserves the great customer ratings that I have seen here. They have the best customer communications I have ever encountered. They called me early in the day to approximate the arrival time. They sent me an email and text message with a link to information about Noah C (including photo so I would recognize him when he arrived), who came to do my repairs. I received a phone call from Noah 30 minutes before he arrived to confirm he was on the way. From arrival to departure, Noah was professional and thorough. It is such a relief to find a company that is reliable and communicates. I signed up for their service plan because I want to continue to connected to such a well-run operation. No more panic over HVAC, plumbing or electrical issues. Thank you, Noah C and Fox!

ComplaintsBoard.com ratings were very good so we arranged for an estimate then agreed to a furnace install. Surprised they were able to do the install the very next day. The crew showed up in clean vehicles, inside the vehicles seemed organized and no mounds of stuff to sort through for their tools & supplies. Staff were very friendly, knowledgable, eager to do a good job. Requests for exterior tape on duct work edges were eagerly added to complete the job. Crew was on time, very professional, knowledgeable, answering any questions, also covering floors with drop sheets and offering heaters for the house; temp was about -20C outside. Attention to work was great and they even completed the job two and a half hours earlier then expected. They also cleaned up after the work was done so we are very happy with our first experience utilizing Fox and Sons. Great job.

Our AC quit just at the end to the record setting heat wave. I phone Fox and they sent two people to repair it for us. They diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor and said it would have to be ordered with an unknown ETA. As they were preparing to leave, one of the technicians said "just so you don't have sticker shock the capacitor will be $300". I went online and although I couldn't find a capacitor in Canada the identical one was listed at North America HVAC for $24.95 US (converts to 31.25 CAN $). We waited for our usual contractor to return from a weekend way and after some searching he found the appropriate capacitor for $27. ***. *** I feel their business practices are unethical!

Fox and Sons is a company that is setting the bar very high for the competition. In every case they have been attentive, professional and thorough. My first encounter was with Erin who came out to do an electrical inspection and quote me on electrical installations I could not get any local company to do ... and I bathe regularly... She provided me with quotes and options and left my jaw dropped with her comprehensiveness Then Devon came out to check on some water sounds that turned out to be nothing , he returned today to do the plumbing inspection since I signed up to be be a FOX meme bet and as such get regular house inspections . We talked water filtration and he gave me options . Reece too came out today to check my HVAC and gave me options for a air filter system before forest fire season starts. Somewhere in there we had Tom and he and I got I great although we had a hiccup with how the billing system worked it finally got straightened out ... Fox always provides a flat fee that incorporates eventualities ... you might pay a bit more but you pay for the certainty and professionalism of the team. They are well worth it.

contacted this company one it was recommended on *** and two they were able to arrive in a timely fashion to assist on my rental property The issue was a clogged toilet. On the first visit they charged me $167 to snake the toilet and told me the clog has been dealt with and advised me that they flushed it multiple times and recorded a video. one day later the toilet was clogged again On the second visit they charged me $877 to remove the toilet and snake 35' in the plumbing then reinstall the toilet with a new wax seal one hour later the toilet was clogged again The next day I went to the property and had a look saw the flush was very weak and draining slowly then diagnosed that there must still be a blockage within the toilet and addressed the problem accordingly. My main concern with this company is they try and offer services that you do not need. Like telling me I require a new hot water tank. Funny thing I just installed one last month. And then telling me that I need a new toilet instead of fixing the problem to begin with. I would not recommend doing business with this company after the experience I had with them. paying them over $1000 to not solve the issue my tenants were having is outrageous

I contacted Fox Plumbing to look at my air conditioning unit, which was not working. A technician came on June 29th. He was unable to take the cover off the unit, and thus could not see inside. However, he declared that the fault was the compressor and that since the unit was old, it would not be feasible to repair it. I was charged $114.35 for the service. Subsequently I obtained a quote from Fox for a new air conditioner, at a price of $7,444.50. On the advice of a knowledgeable friend we removed the cover of the unit, which the Fox technician was unable to do, and called another service company for a second opinion. Fortunately the technician was quite quickly able to ascertain that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the unit and that the fault was due to incorrect wiring by the company that installed a new furnace in October . He corrected the problem and the air conditioner has been working perfectly ever since. If we had followed the advice of the Fox company we would now be faced with a bill for at least $7,444.50 for no good reason. I really feel that the general public would be served by being made aware of Fox's apparent push to sell their products at any cost rather than serving their customers ethically. If required I would be happy to provide the name of the service company who found the fault, and the one who installed the new furnace that was incorrectly wired and caused all the problems.

When something goes wrong, it's like a ghost town and all you get is spam in your mailbox and email inbox. They keep calling customers "family" in the spam, but this "family" won't return my calls... I used Fox Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical before and things were good. When things are good and easy, they're easy to deal with. On Thursday January 21, I had Fox and Sons install a new hot water tank. We experienced flooding two days later on Saturday January 23 and contacted Fox and Sons (Fox) to fix it. I was put in touch with the Service Manager, Paul, who set an appointment to visit the site. With short notice, Paul cancelled his inspection via email then started dodging my calls. He claimed that since the technician who did the work did not admit to making a mistake, the technician must not have made a mistake... No Fox representatives came out to inspect at that time. Regardless of who was at fault, we just wanted this fixed and that is supposed to be a service they offer. We would have been happy to pay, this wasn't us looking for a quick buck. The real problem was that no one was willing to work with us and we got the "call transfer ring-around" when we called in. Since then, we have had more flooding and a technician visited the site on Saturday February 20. Tristan, the technician who came to inspect is the only saving grace, but we are still awaiting a resolution to this problem. An insurance claim has been filed and the situation is under investigation. We cannot recommend this company and advise you to seek out their competitors.

Fox Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical of Vernon, BC fixed my sewage ejector pump on Feb 04/22. The pump stopped working, and my family couldn't use any plumbing in the basement. Ryan and Tristan arrived and said they had a "flat rate" and any extras like parts would be added to my bill. Tristan told me the replacement pump would cost $1,800.00, and I agreed to the job. The total bill was $2,322.80, and my mother-in-law paid with her credit card. I asked Ryan for an invoice with the make, model, and serial number of the pump, but he said I would receive an email. I phoned Fox on Feb 09 and talked to Amanda, who said she would email me an invoice with all the information I requested. I received an invoice with only two line items and no pump information. I emailed customer service on Feb 14, saying I needed the pump information for warranty and records. I received no response. I phoned on Feb 18 and spoke with Amanda, who said she would look into it. I received no response as of Feb 25. I think they're withholding the information because they overcharged me.
