Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating AC Repair

This company was hired through American Home as a vendor. Company came out on 6/26/23--claimed the board was causing ac not to work. Board was delayed, yet the box said delivered 7/1/23. The same exact board was on Amazon for $179 and they charged AH over $2k. The tech who came replaced the board and did a sloppy job of replacing the wires. He ALSO left the unit on knowing there was no freon and 100 degrees in my Florida home. It was blowing nothing but hot air in my house with children and pets! There is clearly a freon leak in the unit outside, which we noticed weeks ago, they were told this several times. The technician said it was a number of OTHER things except a leak then wanted to charge me over $1000 worth of freon knowing the real problem was not fixed. This would max my allowed amount on repairs and I would've had to pay more out of pocket to the company. When they realized I wasn't happy with their fake diagnosis- The office text him, "SHE'S NOT PAYING, ON TO THE NEXT JOB" They are very unprofessional and unreliable. They fail to return calls, have no website, and have an email that does not work. They even failed to respond to all escalated calls from American Home. I tried to be patient, but I will not be ripped off. Hopefully this doesn't happen to someone else.

Recommendation: Do not recommend!

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating Had to use this company Beaches and Air Conditioning and Heating , LLC through American Home Shield

Had to use this company Beaches and Air Conditioning and Heating , LLC through American Home Shield. 1. The 1st technician that came had to call someone else to find out what was the issue. The tech said the zone board had broken ( even though that part was replaced 1 year prior by another company. The technician telling me someone would call me with info about ordering another zone board 2. Didnt hear from anyone so called Beaches and Air spoke to a mananger Rene and explained what transpired on this 1st visit. She said the part would arrive 1 week so I would meet them again 1 week later they would come within a 6 hour window. So had to take the day off naturally 3rd. Two hours prior to the end of the window time I called Beaches and Air them know I was going to run some errands but would be close by. They said it was ok they would call 30 min prior and I was next on the list 3rd. I then get a call from manager Rene she said the wrong zone board had arrived! I asked her for a prompt solution and if they could order this part 4th. 24 hours later no call so I called them back. They said they didnt have an answer and that I should be transferred to another company since I wasnt happy. WHO WOULD BE HAPPY? The customers service which is what made Amazon amazon is something these people have no idea of !=

This is the vendor provided by AHS and we have been waiting for service since the 28th of March...now the 23rd of May. Beaches Air *** LLC has made two appointments to install a new compressor and despite numerous calls made when they did not show between the appointed hours, I was assured that they were coming. They never showed up and never called to explain why. I am still waiting for a compressor to be delivered and temperatures are expected to be in the 90's this week. I am really unhappy with the lack of respect this company has for it's customers. They do not answer the phone very often and seem never to respond to messages that you leave on their message machine. Do not get involved with this company if you have a choice!

This company has been the far best company. We were dealing with another AC company that didn't do the job right. Home warranty sent the company out. They half did the work. Breeches came out twice and fixed the other company's problem. I am thankful for them coming out, they came out before our schedule time was supposed to be. Thank you

Terrible customer response for service. Seems to be a pattern of making people wait for weeks then when the technician shows up misdiagnoses the problem and charges the customer for some random fee the only one NOT covered by your insurance. Then, you wait another week or so and still, they dont fix your problem with your a/c.You call and call and no one bothers to answer nor call you back. Still waiting for another follow up visit but not holding my breath. Besides my home is too hot for that especially with no air in ***.

Beaches air was sent to my house by home warranty company and *** told my woft that he had to order a part on April 15, 2022 and today is May 18 2022 and the have not returned any phone calls and when someone did pick up the phone they said it was being scheduled. I'm tired of calling them every day and have had to purchase a windows unit just to keep my house cooler. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!

Horrible service. Called them repeatedly, they said they would call back never did. The following day gave a sad story about how their only employee had been the the *** and would be released the following day and they would call to set up an appoint.. never did.. I called them and got put on hold. The ONLY reason I have to bother with them is because American Home Shield has them as a repair place.. if you can AVOID THEM at any cost

Second worst customer service! I've been dealing with *** Air through American Home Shield (the absolute worst) for about two months. The initial appointment 2/24 was prompt and identified the problem...but here's where the debacle starts. I've been waiting to have a compressor replaced, which supposedly has been ordered three times. Since then I've had confirmed appointments scheduled on 3/11, 3/25, and 4/18, No shows or calls from the Company or Technicians. Repeated follow-up calls to their office with no answer, either hangs up or puts you on extended holds hoping you'll hang up. When and if they happen to do answer, it's the same excuse of the Tech running behind and will call back. At least of times, I've not received a return and still waiting after 3 weeks for the "manager" to return a call. Part of the problem has been AHS ordering the wrong part, but Beaches Air is one of the most unresponsive/ misleading companies I have ever dealt with in my life. Not sure how they are A-, but guess you can add computerized reviews to anything, if you pay for them. If you read other reviews, my complaints are not uncommon and this company should be avoided AT ALL COST!

Horrible service! The tech came out and asked if someone from their office told me to shut my unit off. They didn't. He said that they had to send someone back out later because the unit is frozen. I called the office back and they said the soonest they could come back is Thursday! Then they claimed that they told me to shut off the unit on voicemail (they didnt). When you call this company, half the time it goes directly to voicemail or they put you on hold without answering. Avoid this company.

I am in ***, perhaps that makes a difference? My experience was the polar opposite! Great service. This was an American Home Shield claim. Beeches is their preferred vendor. *** arrived with a call first to alert us he was in the area. Very personable, showed his credentials for certification. Was here all of two minutes and identified the problem. replaced the part with a new one from his truck. Demonstrated that the unit now worked, tested and re-tested to our satisfaction. No paperwork (due to AHS digital data management), he just thanked us and drove away. Amazing that people are having problems with AHS and Beeches both at the same time.

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating We had an appointment with Beaches AC and heating and they were a no show, no one called to let us know they couldnt make it or even to tell us

We had an appointment with Beaches AC and heating and they were a no show, no one called to let us know they couldnt make it or even to tell us they would have to set up another appointment. We tried calling them at least 50 times and left several voicemails and still no response. They were sent out to our house from our home warranty company. We had to call our *** so they could get in touch with them and our home warranty company could not get in touch with them either. Finally, they called my husband back and said they would be out here three days later. Once the technician arrived he sat in his car for 25 minutes before he came to the door. He did not introduce himself. He was very unprofessional. When he walked in the house he said whats the problem? I told him when it rains a lot the downstairs air ducks fill with water, and he said where is your air conditioner unit. We took him to look at the air-conditioning unit and he did not look at it. I asked him if he had cameras to run down in our vents to maybe see why the ducks were leaking. He said no thats too expensive, I dont carry cameras with me. He just stood there he never checked our unit. The technician was here 5 minutes at the most. He got on his phone called his boss and his boss told him theres nothing we can do about it. I wouldnt recommend using this company. If I could give them no stars I would. Thank you for your time.

Very bad company. Took *** on March 1st for Freon and problem still same.No warranty. No answer phones. Appointments and never showed up. They do not answer messages not even to American Home Shield. No way to get my money refund! No way to get them to fix my AC even though knowing that I have a newborn baby boy at home and my mom a senior citizen. Living in *** and is very hot and humid at home. Hope anyone can help me. About to get a Lawyer but do not have extra money to spend.First time they went home without ladder or tools asked me for *** not covered with American Home Shield. Got a second company for a different opinion and they told me that Beaches AC left the valves open knowing that they will put Freon to make it faster, so they could not do anything. AHS assigned me Beaches AC and I paid them *** before they started working, I thought they will going to check the system for any leaks, but they did not. A week later, they came back without tools to check for leaks but they put Freon, March 16th they showed up and put more Freon, check the air handler and told me I have leaks. Job was approved by AHS but there is no way anyone can reach them. Meanwhile , My AC still not working an I am paying AHS and lot *** with them.Do Not *** It has been a nightmare

American Home Shield contracted work for my a/c to this company. BIG MISTAKE! My problem with this company is they do not show up for appointments scheduled. They were no show twice! First appointment set on 4/01/2022 from ***, no show. I called them and was rescheduled to 4/05/22 from ***. Again no show! I called them and got voice mail. American Home Shield called and got voice mail. My property manager called and got voice mail. I'm done with this company and looking to another company to fix my a/c. If you want your a/c fixed on time, look else where, because this company will not show up on time.

If I could give them a zero I would. Worst company in the *** business. I have been without *** for over. month. AHS assigned them to fix the issue and I could only get them to come out once. I had no problems getting in contact with their office until my $900+ payment for freon went through and now NO ONE WILL CALL ME BK. We still don't have air. The receptionist will schedule an appointment which they do not show up for and once I call them I am given the excuse they are at the supply house and will be on the way shortly...Again never showing up and never calling to reschedule. I am now in the process of hiring an attorney to deal with their incessant lies and with trying to recoup the money I've paid. DO NOT USE BEACHES AIR. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER REPAIR YOUR .

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating, LLC is a terrible company

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating, LLC is a terrible company. My Lennox *** Unit was leaking and they came out twice regarding Repair. The last time they came out, they stated that they could not see or smell any leaking freon. They then suggested that the only thing recommended before they could pursue further repairs was for us to replace the line-set. The latter would entail someone ripping though our drywall to replace the existing line-set and then they could enact repairs since they could not do such work nor would American Home Shield (we use) allow it if they could. So, they wanted us to contact a different *** Vendor (approved by AHS) to do the line-set work and then come back to them for a charge to repair the service-what is wrong with that picture? We contacted American Home Shield and switched the *** Vendor to United Air. United Air came out with 2 techs and they said that they could smell the leaking freon and pinpointed the leak. The techs also said that they (Beaches) did not want to bother fixing the issue and had no idea of what they are talking about. The *** here is that Beaches wanted us to get someone to tear up our drywall for nothing for a bogus repair and then charge us on the back end which would have included 10lbs of freon for about $1000.As stated, Beaches Air-*** is a terrible company and tried to rip us off. They have other horrible ratings, and we are disappointed that AHS would have them as a preferred *** vendor. Thanks

I can't say enough about Beaches Air *** LLC. My home warranty company, American Home Shield arranged an appointment when my air stopped cooling. From the phone call to schedule the repair, it was a great experience. *** was my technician and he was professional, courteous and had my HVAC cooling in no time. He thoroughly checked the system to identify the issue and was very patient answering questions I had. I'm sad and surprised to see such negative reviews and feel they must be for a similar named HVAC repair company or possibly a competitor. I would recommend Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating without reservation to family, friends and business associates!

I have been dealing with this company through my Home warranty AHS. I have been dealing with beaches air Garbage for over a month now. They got assigned my Job and for the First 3 weeks I was not able to reach them and no one called me to setup an appt. It took me calling AHS multiple times for them to finally get in contact with beaches air. Once the tech came out to Supposedly fix the issue with the heat pump the tech had no clue what he needed to get done. Once he left my residence the Ac stopped working within 2 days. I could not get a hold of beaches air so again I called AHS they reached beaches and then they sent another tech out and within 2 days the unit stopped working again. This happened 2 more times. The last tech that came out said that the unit had a leak which before the Ac was working perfectly fine with no leaks. This company came out made the Ac stopped working and at the end they told AHS to transfer the job to another contractor. So now they left me with no ac while my wife and 2 little kids are at home And they did not fix the issue they caused. This company is not professional and conducts business badly. Stay clear and far from them doing any work for you.

3/10/22, Well to start with. I had an appointment set with a window from 9am-1pm. I called at 1pm to check on when the tech was going to arrive. I was told he was finishing up another job and would be calling, I'll hold my breath. It's now pouring rain and I wonder what excuse I'll get next. Well I get a call from the tech, *** 45 minutes after the 1pm window, stating hes backed up in traffic coming from *** on I 95. Maybe an hour or more late. Well at 245pm he shows up parks leaves his vehicle running, gets out and states do to the weather will have to reschedule. I Informed him that he was over an hour and half late, in which he states hes not, its scheduling fault. Turns and gets back into his vehicle and pulls out and leaves. Now mind you he had to drive in the rain to get here from ***, he couldve called way before that. Now another day, and another tech to come out tomorrow. And I spoke with the office and let them know what happened, they offered to come back tomorrow under the same time frame, invoice I didnt agree and requested to be the first of the day, and a different tech. Which they agreed, next up *** Well day # 2, 3/11 (0830), I received a call from their tech ***, who was now coming from *** with a 45 minute eta. I asked what happened with *** he stated he called In, and he would get back to me. Well he never called, instead I received an text message stating my appt was canceled. I sent a reply asking, and received the response call the office. So office call made and of course it went to VM. Tried using a different number to call from, and low and behold they answered. I asked why my appointment was canceled, and was told because I spoke to their tech bad and they wont be out to service or repair my A/c. And that was per the manger, then hang up on me. Complaint filed with AHS and got no where, they kept assisting that I continue with a new company, I didnt want any part with anyone refused, but they went ahead and assigned another with the promise they would call today to set appointment. Well no call, its now the weekend, improper working A/c, hot and muggy. Beaches Heat/Air LLC, is exactly as others described. EXTREMELY poor customer service, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, they dont honor there time windows, dont return calls or text messages. I WOULD NEVER EVER recommend them. I wouldnt even give them 10 they are horrible. I will be filing a complaint with the ***, and ComplaintsBoard.com against Beaches. As for AHS another waste of money, they will never ever replace youre a/c, they will take your $$$, and kick the can down the road. Good by to both, and *** learnedwith AHS and the $$$ lost to them (4 yrs). Ive had another 3 local companies out to potentially service, and quote a new system. Old system made it 19 yrs, not bad for ***. New system as expected to be installed next week. B

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating I cannot comment on their work as an air conditioning company because I never had my work done

I cannot comment on their work as an air conditioning company because I never had my work done. Was assigned to them as a contractor through *** and after almost 2 months, still nothing got fixed. They no showed on several appointments, with parts not coming in being the "issue" but there was never any communication from their office. Each appointment set was followed by me having to call several times to find out the status update, always ending with them giving an excuse as to why they had not or were not going to show up. The final straw was today, when after an 8 - 12 window given, and phone calls made at 9 am, 1130 am, 1 pm and 2 pm, each time given a different explanation to where the technician was. On two of those phone calls I was told they were going to initiate contact with the technician and get a return call with an update. Which never happened. I was finally told that they were dropping this job "because they have never had this many issues with completing service" and that they are "done scheduling with me". They are the ones who no showed on SEVERAL appointments with no communication whatsoever, only excuses after the fact when we reached out. I believe part of the issue is their processes in place for dealing with ***. I was understanding of that until I felt like I was being lied to with each representative I talked to giving me a different story and the final one accusing me of being the impediment to getting this job done was the final straw. They may be a good air conditioning company, but beware, they treat their home warranty customers as disposable and when you point out where they dropped the ball, they hang up on you and drop the job, leaving you in limbo.

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating AHS sent this company out for a pre-season A/C Maintenance check

AHS sent this company out for a pre-season A/C Maintenance check. I had no current issues with my A/C at the time but figured I'd get it checked since I recently moved into the home and hadn't had it checked. I requested service and the technician arrived the next day from Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating. He stayed for no longer than 5 mins and did not do most of the services AHS claims would be provided on the warranty company's website. He gave me the "all clear" and stated my system is running very well with no issues. From the AHS website: Your A/C tune-up will be performed by a qualified Pro who will: Check the thermostat, Check the filters (Pro will replace filters with new homeowner-supplied filters with owner's permission), Test the temperature split, Check the refrigerant levels and system pressures, Perform an amp draw on the condenser/evaporator motor & compressor, Rinse the condensate coils with water, Check the contactor & condensate lines, Check the evaporator coil, Clean electrical connections, Test the capacitors & operations, and Test safety & limit switches. FOUR DAYS LATER, my A/C stops heating and cooling. I reached out to AHS again for a service tech. Someone from another company came out and gave me information that didn't make sense. So, I finally contacted a company on my own and had them take a look. They found that I had no refrigerant due to a leak in a pipe. Something they actually found within the first 10 mins. Also, something listed in the tune-up services provided "CHECK THE REFRIGERANT LEVELS". The technician I paid for out of pocket showed me proof of his findings and confirmed it was a slow leak; which also means it didn't just run out within the 4 days after he left. I wouldn't recommend Beaches Air

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating If I could give them -5 I would

If I could give them -5 I would. The worst company I ever met in my life. No jokes. A horrible company! HORRIBLE! They were assigned by our home insurance company. One of the *** zones stopped to blow. As final result found by a different company the problem was in a damper. BUT! What Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating company did:1. They never ever call me to set an appointment BUT they set it by themselves and their visit always been a surprise! 2. They never ever answered my phone calls and voice messages left 3. The first visit their technician said there was some dirt in dumper so he cleaned it up and everything is fine now. But in fact he just tried to push the damper in open position! No need to say It sure closed back the same day. Next Visit he did the same thig. And every time he told me the problem is solved! One of the last visits he said he will need a helper who going to check what's going on on the *** control border. OMG! I said please don't even touch it because I know how tricky was to make it working correctly. 4. it took them 2 months! and they had fixed nothing! 5. And the final straw was - they made their "surprise" appointment and came when I wasn't home. So they made the case closed with my insurance company. I called to insurance company, they reopen the case and called to Beaches Air Conditioning to made another appointment. I needed to move my planned trip dates because of that. Aaaaaand! Beaches Air Conditioning technician NEVER appeared nor called me that day! Bravo! Moreover they made false report to my insurance company that my *** had parts missed and I have wasp nest in my attic so they can't work in there! WTH Beaches Air Conditioning? After that another company was assigned finally and they have fixed the problem easily! They just replaced that damper.

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating This is the worst most unprofessional place I have ever dealt

This is the worst most unprofessional place I have ever dealt. They were sent to me from *** which is another awful company. Both these companies deserve a *** score. First of all I called Beaches when American appointed me to them. They never called me. Then they came to my house looked at my air conditioner and said I needed a piece that was called *** (I think that's the name) anyway my *** would be over $1100 at the min. Then they scheduled me for a week later. I told them if there's anything they can do since we live in FL and it really hot so I do need my air conditioner. They said they would try. Well they didn't. I got an appointment for the following Friday. I had to call them to see if they were coming or not. My husband stayed home from work so this can be fixed. Well when I called the lady on the phone told me that the guy was in the wearhouse right now waiting on the part, but it's taking longer since all this Covid stuff. They said that they would call me soon when he was on the way. Well no call. I called them at 3pm and either they were closed for the day or just didn't pick up the phone. I called serveral times. No Answer. I called again on Saturday NOTHING! I called again on Monday and they have to have caller ID because they wouldn't even pick up the phone. I heard someone pick it up and they put me on hold right away or hung up on me or sent me to voice mail. AGAIN I'M ***ING ***. DON'T GO *** THIS COMPANY. I then called another company *** Air & Heat. I explained my situation and they came right away that night and fixed my air. Now get this I didn't need that piece that Beaches said and all it cost me was $236 not $1100-? So you do the math. Which company is better. ***, ***, ***, ***, *** - DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH BEACHES. THEY ARE A *** COMPANY & *** TRY ***R MONEY AND *** THAT *** NEED SOMETHING *** DON'T AND ON P OF THAT NOT *** AND DO THE *** THEY PROMISED *** DO. ***, ***, ***, ***, *** COMPANY BEACHES."

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating I think they are cruel and inhuman!

I think they are cruel and inhuman! I too have a home warranty company that has contracted with Beaches A/C and Heating. All the prior reviews are correct. I have experienced the same treatment. The office person does have a vindictive behavior. I experienced about 4 years ago and again in August. This time I was without A/C for a week in August temperature over 98-degree F. coupled with our *** humidity. I was unbearable. We called the home warranty company daily and sometimes twice a day. We were told a part had to be ordered. So, the process is: Beaches calls the home warranty company, the home warranty orders the part and when it arrives (no guarantees because of COVID!), Beaches will return to install it. The technician came out within the 24 hours. He did not do a complete assessment of the unit (just the compressor). The next day my husband called the home warranty to see if the part was ordered. It had not! So, multiple call to Beaches that went to voicemail and never returned calls. Here is the clincher! They don't answer calls the home warranty. My husband made it clear to the home warranty and Beaches his is medically fragile and our dogs were suffering. Neither company has humanity. I had to take my dogs with us to the grocery store and medical appointments because they could not be left in a hot house. I had to sponge bathe my dog to cool him off. Of course, the home warranty offered a $150 credit to a fan or portable A/C unit. We purchased the A/C portable unit at a discount but it cost twice as much as the $150 and it could not cool the square footage needed. We couldn't use it in the bedroom because the exhaust vent didn't fit the window. The fan moved hot air around (maybe). We called an A/C person we know. He came out within the hour. It wasn't compressor it was the capacitor. The house was cooled in 2 hours. We suffered for 9 days in the heat. By the way, COVID-19 doesn't prevent one from answering the phone or returning messages (IT'S YOUR JOB! How do you live with yourself?). I will be investigating the *** that regulates the industry.

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating I had to use Beeches Air Conditioning and Heating LLC thru my American Home Shield Warranty

I had to use Beeches Air Conditioning and Heating LLC thru my American Home Shield Warranty. The technician, CXXXXX came out the end of November for his 1st visit. My *** system was working intermittently. He alleged the only thing he could find wrong was that it was 2 pounds short of Freon. He stated that AHS will not cover the cost of the Freon and charged me $300 and ran my credit card on the spot. He came back about an hour later to put the Freon in the unit. I asked him for a receipt for my payment and verification of what he had done to fix my *** unit. He stated that he is not allowed to give me a receipt of what work he did nor can he give me a receipt of the money I just paid him. He stated I would need to get proof of what work he did directly from AHS. He stated that I had to call the main office to get them to email me a receipt for the money I had just paid him. The unit stopped working again the next day, the same person, CXXXX came out to the house. He did not realize I was already at the door when he walked up and he was muttering "ugggg this house again" in a frustrated manner. He was unable to "find" anything wrong again with the *** unit and again refused to provide me anything in writing regarding what he did while on the visit to my home. He advised me that I should just buy a new unit in the condescending tone he had each visit then left my home. We are now on 1/16/22, the vender has not returned any of my phone calls. AHS contacted the vender for 2 month and finally got in touch with someone with them who stated to AHS that they would email me the receipt my COB. Obviously, this did not happen. I contacted AHS again who has escalated the claim to their contractor relations department. According to AHS, CXXXX informed then that nothing was wrong with my unit and closed out the claim. However, they were more than willing to claim the reason it was not working was due to not having enough Freon and charged me $300 then refused to provide me proof of the work they did or even a receipt. I have asked AHS to never use this vender for my warranty again and I have just begun the process of getting word out that this company and their employee, ***, is a disgrace to *** companies.

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating 3/10/22, Well to start with

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating Beaches has behaved fraudulently

Beaches has behaved fraudulently. They have been dispatched by American Home Shield (AHS). Do not allow this contractor on your property. In April they conducted an annual inspection and reported no errors.Through May and into June our unit began failing and the froze over. In June, Beaches came out and diagnosed it as low refrigerant. It was low on refrigerant. They charged me for the refrigerant added. I asked if they were going to do a leak detection test. They told me to call the office to schedule the leak detection test. I was present the entire time. They became unresponsive after that. I hired a tech to diagnose the system and he found the evaporator to be leaking.I called AHS to inform them of this and they attempted to reach out. They said they received a diagnosis from Beaches later on. A diagnosis for a bad compressor. They never conducted a diagnostic and they never checked the compressor, they checked refrigerant levels and then topped off the system. Beaches said they mixed up the diagnostics. I asked for the technician notes from the visit. They provided the notes that said a leak was found at the service port and the technician fixed it. The technician never mentioned a leak at the service port and he did not perform any maintenance on the service ports. I know this because I've replaced the air conditioning service ports and am familiar with the process. I began the process of seeking another contractor. Upon further review from when Beaches conducted the annual inspection until they came to diagnose the system was 58 days. They reported the refrigerants levels to be fine in April and then low enough to cause failure in June (58 days). From June until September (when the unit was replaced) no failures occurred over 82 days and little refrigerant had escaped. This leaves me with the question of whether refrigerant levels weren't checked during the inspection or if refrigerant was allowed to escape to cause malfunction. I cannot be sure of either. Every attempt to contact Beaches has ended with being transferred to an empty line, told they'd call back, or just simply not picking up the phones. When speaking to the second contractor dispatched by AHS they told horror stories of having to clean up from Beaches work. They mentioned that companies like Beaches tend to float all costs to the homeowner (AHS doesn't cover refrigerant) and avoids diagnosing systems to avoid having to change parts (AHS pays for that) so they get dispatch priority. I wouldn't put it past them to vent off refrigerant during annual inspections to come back out when the system fails to add refrigerant and charge it to the homeowner while AHS pays nothing and Beaches makes all the money. By the way, if you ask them about this they'll say they use no loss gauges like you can't vent a service port with a screwdriver (you can)... This could be a simple case of mixed up paperwork and one bad tech but Beaches inability to address it makes me think otherwise.

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating I was assigned Beaches *** by my home warranty company in May

I was assigned Beaches *** by my home warranty company in May. They came and diagnosed a problem with the actuator and said it had to be replaced. When they gave me the date the part would be in, which was a week away, I asked that the part be expedited and they blamed the warranty company, claiming they were required to get this part from them. I spent an entire day on the phone with the warranty company before finding out this was *** and that Beaches *** was free to source the part from where ever they chose. The part was replaced and I paid for the coolant to be replaced and was assured that they guaranteed it if there was another issue with the system that caused it to leak out within 60 days they would replace the coolant at their expense. My air went out again on June 8th and I reported on June 9th. The 1st technician to arrive in a rental vehicle and advised he did not have the equipment needed to find the leak and someone else would be sent out. I waited a few more days, until the 17th of June, for another technician to come out. While he could have done something I did not see as I did not supervise his every move, the only "equipment" I saw him with that the previous technician had not use was a spray bottle and flashlight. The technician advised that there were so many leaks in my evaporator coil that it was not repairable and would have to be replaced. This technician took the time to check availability of the part and told me it was on backorder and would take 1-2 weeks to get. He said a universal part could be made to fit and would take less time. I contacted my warranty company to ask how this would go and if the part would be sourced from the and they said the part would likely be sourced by the contractor but they couldn't say for sure until they had the diagnosis and knew the details of the part needed.I spoke with someone in the office on Friday morning who said they could not schedule anything until I paid 300 or 400 dollars for coolant, I disagreed and said I had already paid for coolant and it was guaranteed, she went on the explain that there had been an increase in price by my warranty company and I would have to pay the difference in my share of the cost of coolant. I vehemently disagreed with this and told her that is not what a guarantee is, you can't change the price. She said she would need a manager to take over the call. I hung up after being left on hold for a full ***. I called my warrantee company and was told this was not their doing, they knew nothing about this. hen I called back my calls were no longer placed immediately on hold but sent to voice mail. On Monday I was called Beaches back and spoke to a manager who made no mention of additional monies due and she said the part would be in the following Thursday and made an appointment for that morning. Someone else from Beaches called later that morning to schedule an appointment at a different time so I told her I had an appointment and asked if the part that was coming was specific to my equipment or a universal part, she said it was for my equipment. On the day of my appointment I did not receive a call ahead within my appointment time so I called the office after the window had passed to express I didn't care that it was late, just wanted to be sure part had arrived and technician was in possession of said part. I was told yes, and tech was at stop ahead of mine. 3 hours later I was called and told the technician was at my home. I left work and rushed home to a technician who had no part nor any knowledge of any of the history on the work or diagnostic done at my house. I could not reach ***, even though it was business hours, and when I asked tech to contact office, he said he only has contact with supervisor. I asked him to check with supervisor about replacement of evaporator coil and was told my warranty company refused the replacement and required a repair. The technician checked the pressure and recharged the system, it predictably stopped working again on Sunday.I spoke with my warranty company the next morning and discovered Beaches *** has not submitted any information about my air conditioner since May, they did not submit the diagnosis from the visit on June 17th so they flat out lied about my warranty company refusing the replacement of the part. I am working with my warranty company to get another company out and as of this writing on 7/1 have not heard anything from Beaches in response to messages left on the 24th.

Given the numerous negative comments and complaints about this company on various social media platforms over the years, expressing another unfavorable opinion shouldn't be seen as problematic. It appears that nobody is holding them accountable, and perhaps only some form of divine intervention will eventually do so. In my experience, they made three...

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating Our AC went out in record setting temperatures here in the state of Florida with the heat index of over 100 degrees on July 26th

Our AC went out in record setting temperatures here in the state of Florida with the heat index of over 100 degrees on July 26th. Our American Shield home warranty plan dispatched Beaches Air. It took them 4 days to come, despite the emergent need of it being 92 degrees inside my home. When the repair man arrived, late I told him the issue We had before about a leak being repaired and Freon added and I hope It was just a need for Freon. Repair man takes less than 30 minutes, first adding Freon and then he said he repaired the leak. We paid an extortious amount of $780 for the AC to go back out within 24 hours. They have not answered our calls . I will Continue calling but this issue must be addressed.

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating I have had Beaches Air Conditioning come to my home twice in the past two weeks

I have had Beaches Air Conditioning come to my home twice in the past two weeks. The first "repairman" came without tools, or a company vehicle to "repair my air conditioner". He left stating to just turn it on and off and let it defrost and then turn it back on. NOT ACCEPTABLE The second gentlemen came on 7/27 looked at the air conditioner and stated to "purchase the cheap air conditioner filters" that is what is causing it to freeze up. I followed direction and guess what - its's still freezing up! This company is being paid on a warranty and collecting funds they are not entitled to nor doing any repair work at all. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I am looking for a repairman to be sent from Beaches Air Conditioning who knows their profession !

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating Our AC went out on 7/4

Our AC went out on 7/4. We contacted American Home Shield who contracted Beach Air to handle the issue. It is now 8/17 and no resolution. We have had to call numerous times to find out status. They will tell us the part is here and on the truck . . technician will be there that day. No one shows. We call. 99% of the time there is no one answering the phone. We finally get ahold of someone and they tell us same thing . . .technician should be there that day. We have also been told technician will call to schedule but no one calls. We have been told they will call us back within a 4 hour window. No one calls. AHS has called them - they are not getting a response. This is ridiculous! Deplorable customer service, constant lying about status, not available, no one to talk to, business address is a PO Box.

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating They were assigned to come from American Home shield company

They were assigned to come from American Home shield company. Sent probably non qualified technician who can not fix despite three calls and installed broken part which was used. Also, *** the manger lied several times saying some one is coming when they did not schedule any one . Failed to repair the unit as approved by American Home shield and abruptly refused to come after promising to fix. I spent $745 dollars due to their lying . it took them 16 days and no A/c when temperature is over 98 degrees most days. worst company to do business. Gov should check if their technicians are certified, they have certifications to install Freon and they are doing correct job. Very rude, lying all the time and difficult to deal from office. Technician might b nice but the manager is the worst person to deal with and would strongly recommend to investigate this company

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating First service request was on 7/28 for AC unit that was not working

First service request was on 7/28 for AC unit that was not working. Technician finally went out but said unit was on fire and house was full of smoke. Fire department was called. I tried getting an update from Beaches for several days but all I could get was that they were waiting on technician's report. I finally got a response on 8/9 that no one has looked at my unit, so I requested emergency service and technician came out on 8/10. Two days later and a few calls later I finally was told that a part was ordered but no one could tell me what the part was. It is over 100 degrees and as of 8/13, I'm finding out that Beaches wants to send another technician out on 8/15 but no one can tell me why. It's taken them over 2 weeks to get nowhere, the office just puts me on hold 25 minutes at a time until I hang up and I cannot escalate with a Supervisor. Worst service and customer service ever!

Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating I called my home warranty to have an AC company out to fix my ac unit

I called my home warranty to have an AC company out to fix my ac unit. They sent Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating, LLC, they came out on July 2nd, unclogged the line. Two weeks later the ac stopped working again. They came to see what was needed and ordered an accumulator. They were supposed to be at the property July 23 with the part to repair, I called them twice that day to check in on their service, the second time which was after their repair window, they said the part isn't in and they couldn't be there until Wednesday the 28th. They came Wednesday, and charged me $1170 and within 24 hours the ac was broken again. They never answer their phone, I've called and the home warranty has called. I'm almost a month without proper ac. I'd like this job completed and fixed properly. I've incurred a major cost and have no resolution. They need to fix the job quickly - they shouldn't be in business if they can't do the job.

They were here within hours of being assigned to my AHS claim. Diagnosed issue and ordered part within minutes and were back to fix it the next day. Total TAT less than 48 hours. James was friendly and knowledgeable. Much appreciated! Highly Recommended and I'm quite particular!

Issue was a fan wheel something or another.
