I talked to *** at Mighty Auto and he said my front pipe was about to fall off and he was worried about my safety. He told me the price of the pipe and said he'd give me a deal for $1300.00 for the pipe and two hours of work. When I went to pick up my dodge journey, the lady at the front desk said it was $1794.11. I told her that wasn't right, so she called *** but he was gone for the day. She put me on the phone and he said it was a misunderstanding and he couldn't help me because he left for the day. I told him he quoted me $1300.00 for the pipe and two hours of work, but he just said it was a misunderstanding. But I know what he said.
I went to Mighty Auto on June 21 for an oil change
I went to Mighty Auto on June 21 for an oil change. When I drove the car home and tried to drive it again, the check engine light turned on and the car started misfiring. I took it to another mechanic who said they couldn't fix it and told me to contact the *** dealership. The dealership talked to the mechanic and they both agreed that another oil change might fix the issue. After getting another oil change, the car worked perfectly and all the engine misfiring codes were gone. Both mechanics said that the misfire was caused by the oil change at Mighty Auto Halifax. When I talked to the business, they refused to take responsibility and wouldn't pay for the other mechanic's bill. They offered me a free oil change, but I'm not going back there.
