1 star is being gracious. Was lied to numerous times by the leasing agent about being able to see the unit before I signed as well as certain maintenance concerns. Almost had to cancel my move midway while packing up the moving truck that day because she claimed that she had not received copies of my renters insurance policy which I sent over three times. Moved in a month ago, still do not have my mailbox key because the previous tenant did not return it, but they moved out over two months ago, so the complex should have had a new one made up. Have called the main office multiple times and left numerous messages/voicemails/online forms/emails to have a copy of my lease sent to me so I can go to the Post Office to have a new key issued. I have to pay for that key btw, which is just super! The agent at the leasing office claims that she never received the lease and that they must have sent it to her wrong fax number. Pretty much, the most incompetent group of people I have ever dealt with. It is astonishing just how bad of a management company this is.

I have been living in my apartment Secaucus XChange since they were built. The only people that are professional, helpful and courteous are the people that are in the keasing department. If you are late on your rent the management company treat you as if you are a charity case. This b**** Tammi Rivera whos is the legal department is the worse, unprofessional, attitude having supervisor who gives two ### about noone. I am aware that you are supposed to do a job. Although you shouldhave compassion for people who is paying their salaries by us who's paying over 2000+ for rent. I was assessed sa 50 late fee for rent that I went to pay on the 5th. My check clearly says the 5th. Only because they were closed for ajewish holiday that I had no clue about they said they dont care. They put all kinds of fees on your bill and you have to pay it or they will have you locked out of your apartment. This is the worse company to lease from. Tgey treat their tenants like they are doing us favors. I will do everything I can to dhine light on a management company that is pathetic.

The Wilder manor apartments in Elizabeth NJ has BED BUGS ! . They let a mentally disturb man live here without caring about the other tenants. This guy has had numerous complaints from walking the hall from 1am to 5am to flooding out his apartment on several occasions. Now the biggest problem yet BED BUGS ! The bugs has now spread (which started in his apartment) to other apartments including mines. Wilder Management agreed to pay for the fuming of the bugs in my apartment, but they said that it dose not mean that they will be able to clean of get rid of them all. WOWWWW REALLY ! they went to say to me to make sure I wash all of my clothes in the my apartment after the fuming and GUESS who they expect to pay for all that washing... YEAH that`s right me. This company is non-helpful and very Inconsiderate to the tenants NEEDS. SO use your judgemnet on wearhter or NOT if this is the place you want to be.

Hi, i have been living in one of the rented apartments by middlesexmanagement...And in all these 4 yrs, all i had was bad and bitter expereince from the management..They treat the tenants as if they are living for charity..They are the mnost unprofessional, attitudistic, apathetic and negligent people on earth..I wonder if they ever try to do thier duties properly toward their tenants/customers. When you go to them for help due to some problm, they will make you wish that you had nt gone to them for help.They never return calls, mails or voicemails and they never answer you properly. The staff over there are the most worst ppl employed who nevedr talks with courtesy. They suck your deposit money and they never return it fully when you vavcate the apartment. I am so much fed up with that people and i will never ever recommend any of the proerties owned by middlesexd mgmt jus because for the poor customer service. ITs my fate to live here still inspite of all the bad expereinces jus becoz the place i live is close and conveinent for commutation and schools. Otherwise i wish i never lived here.

The bottom line is that Middlesex Management thinks tenants exist to pay rent for whatever squalid conditions and circumstances they decide to offer which are subject to change to even worse, irrespective of what they advertise. They will hang up the phone on you if they disagree with you; it doesn't matter if you are polite about it at all. Their attitude is, "Take it or leave it and if you leave, there will be a penalty attached."
This company also runs under many names to make it difficult to know their actual reputation. Just look at all of the complaints their lack of attention to business details and lack of concern over customer satisfaction have been generated over the years. These complaints reflect only a tiny portion of the actual disputes because people are so disgusted, they don't even want to bother to write a complaint knowing that the outcome has been pre-ordained by Middlesex Management lawyers to work against the tenant. If at all possible, rent elsewhere, at an apartment complex with reputable management, if you can find one; otherwise, see what you can get from a private property owner.

I have been living in the north brunswick manor apts for nearly 25years and could not figure out why my apartment smells like mold and mildew, All of our clothing, blankets, and furniture smells so i went outside to the back of the apt. and saw the most disgusting thing i ever saw. the crawl space was filled with water, raw sewage and slugs and bugs.So if you have a disgusting smell in your apt. just go outside and check the crawl space and you will find the problem, when you contact the main office in woodbridge they will tell you theres NO MOLD and NO PROBLEM.I had to spend 975.00 to get a professional co. to prove that it is mold and there is a problem. now im on my way to court with them. After contacting the main office and getting the same run around for years now they had dirt delivered to the whole complex, in front of my apt and my neighbors apts they are digging up putting in all new pipes, filling with dirt to raise the ground ...BUT REMEMBER THERES NO PROBLEM...they offered me 200.00 Dollarsto move but they spent thousands to get themselves out of trouble.SO I WISH EVERYONE THAT READS THIS TO GO LOOK UNDER YOUR APT> AND SEE WHAT KIND OF HORRORS YOU WILL FIND! if you have more than 1 sump pump, YOU ALSO HAVE A BIG PROBLEM
wow. i totally agree with everyone of these negative comments! has anyone tried to break their lease, and theyre charging a "$400 liquidation fee" AND saying that youre required to pay the rent UNTIL lease expires OR until someone rents the apt?!? because they are to me, and i find that to be ridiculous! my lease expires on july 31st. and the lady told me i can leave anytime in july however, i am required to still pay JULY. WELL im planning on leaving mid june. can anyone please verify how true that is? THANK YOU!

i have complainted there is a child living in senior housing in apt 321 they do nothing. although its not allowed.
we have reported that an older man in apartment 321 is living with his granddaughter . it has been reported and no one does anything apt 321 yorkshire village . nothing happens
The worst customer care. Firstly you need to wait atleast 10 minutes to get somebody on the call. I asked them if they can remove the covers of my AIR Condition since its been hot these days. They said it cant be done till May first. So i requested them if i can remove the cover my self and she was very rude to ask me if i put it on if not then don't remove it. This is the first time I'm complaining since i never mind their behavior when i used to call them before

theres alot of roaches and bed bugs and they wont do nothing about it, the indian man at the office is mean treats u like u stupid...lots of drug dealing ..lots of partying ...always talking people to court and very hard trying to move put of there they wont give your security deposit back once u turn your keys in, , , , , lets say you want to move to a different aprtment building even doe they own by the same people they will ask u to put another security deposit and u have to start all over again and the other security deposit like i said wont be return at all...aprartment are over price 2 bedroom more then 1, 500 and up they tell u after being her 6 months and you pay on time we will give you a free month lie never got it ...theres no fighting will these people they will take u to court for every nickle dime or penny ...washing machines always broken and there small and people from other place always there smoking weed ...people that dont live there always partying and doing drugs late night parking lot or in the hallways..the door that leads to your hallway they break it just to get in so sad they tell you its safe well its not even with there fake carmera they have now .
hi i use to live there myself wooooooooo what a mistake that was.. middlesex management on sayre are perth amboy nj.. man oh man what a mess people in the parking lot partying all the time ..people selling drugs in the hallways music blasted all the time ..and people that dont live there always there like i said selling drugs..last year there was even a gun shooting at someones door ...i wanted to move so bad i explain why they said i have to wait till my lease was up ..i was so piss these people dont ever fix your place up sink falling apart...the bathroom ceiling fell into my bathroom because it was leaking water really bad ...and mold in the rooms ...the mold when they came over to fix it they spray a white can of something never told me what it was ...but i was getting sick and my kids all the time ...they tell you ..you cant have dogs but the crazy thing everyone has dogs and they crap all over the place ...oh let not forget about the crazy lady that takes care of these cats in the parking lot over 60plus cats ...i had to move could not take it any more .and when it comes to security deposit you will never ever get it back ...these people will take u to court right if your even late with $25 take you to court and charge court fees of almost $300 thats crazy ...oh let not forget how my car got tow 4 times out there parking lot...and people always smoking weed in the hallways ...oh and when it snows it take them almost 2 days after the snow storm to clean up the place while people slip and get hurt and they look at u like u crazy for that ...look im telling dont move there did will be the biggest mistake of your life .save yourself from this bull crap place ...

I AM A TENENT AT 81 WOODBRIDGE TERRECE. IT SEEMS LIKE I HAVE MOVED INTO A PARK. THE PARENTS OF THESE CHILDREN SEEM NOT TO CARE ABOUT THERE NEIGHBORS. I WORK NIGHTS AND MORNING NOON AND NIGHT CHILDREN ARE FOUND RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS. THEY CONTINUE TO BREAK THE LOCKS FROM THE FRONT DOOR AND THE SCREAMING AND SLAMMING OF DOORS IS UNBEARIABLE. I AM WRITING THIS AND KEEPING A COPY I HAVE CALLED THE OFFICE ON THIS ALREADY IF THIS NOT NOT TAKEN CARE OF I WILL LIKE MY DEPOSIT BACK AND I WILL BE MOVING. Middlesex Management has a hold over several properties and when it comes to pest management which is a real health hazard takes a really relaxed outlook. You call them about a rodent infestation or bed bug infestation it akes them a week to 2 weeks to respond and even after that you call them because whatever was being done is nt effective they tell you and I quote "You live in the middle of the woods what do you expect!" or I have had a cardiac surgery and have rodent infestation and I was told as long as I don't eat the mice I have nothing to worry. I will not recommend this place to anyone by any means and I am tired, physically and emotionally, that I cannot deal with them legally. Anyone to take this up go ahead.
I agree! Lived in Renaissance Terrace for 11 months. For 9 months I had sewer gnats, flying ants & termites in kitchen, over stove, bedroom, shower, toilets & all windowsills. I was unable to sleep. Went to Health dept., exterminator came every week but, nothing helped. Grounds are unkept. When i moved in air condition wasn't working, smoke detector not working, rusty bathroom sink, no locks on windows, hole in screen, shrubbery unkept (clippings left on ground for weeks).
I currently reside in Glisser Gardens. I moved in February 2016. I noticed rat baits all around complex so automatically was aware they had a rodent issue perhaps. I saw the apartment and noticed it had the baseboard heaters which allows rodents to freely roam in and out of it without any problem, the foundation and walls cracked and not leveled but was staying with family at the time and needed my own space and privacy. I was also over welcoming my stay there so I moved in..WHAT A MISTAKE! I have heard screeching, scratching, thumping and loud noises from the outside and from the roof since I live on the last level or the first from the rooftop. SOOOOOOOOO SCARY! I already saw not a mouse but a rat in my kitchen the super came and closed the opening in the back of the stove on the wall where he assumed it came in through. Last night the screeching outside was unbearable and then the screeching and thumping came onto the rooftop at 6:30am when I was getting ready for work. I don't know if it's an infestation of rats, mice, bats, raccoons, squirrels and I don't care I just WANT OUT AT THIS TIME. I am terrified of living there alone.

Most rude and incompetent management company out there. Don't rent from them. Please spread the word outside of just web posts. I spoke to their legal department and told them that I'd like to speak to their attorneys (re:my complaint) they refused to give me a number. They stated that I should find my own attorneys to resolve the matter. When I countered w/ "How would my attorney's get in touch w/ yours. They replied. They'll find a way". What kind of half ###, db response is that?
We moved into a townhouse last week. The first thing we noticed was the smell of wet carpet. Found out the basement carpet was soaked. Called super, got screamed at. The guy was nice enough to come over though, on a Saturday. Told us the sump pump should have been turned on but wasn't, and that an outside Contractor would have to come in to dry the carpet. Its now Wed, the carpet is still wet, a phone jack that wouldn't work because it has been painted over has not been fixed, and after a 7 min wait on the line the Management office just told me they don't know when the crew will come in. Moving is stressful enough as it is without having to call and get yelled at by apartment management every day!

I reside in Middlesex Management Property/ North Brunswick Manor. About a month ago..I started seeing Mouse Dropping. I called them IMMEDIATELY..becasue I have a 2 year old Asthmatic Son & A Peekingese Dog. So I took off work ..so Maint. could come patch up..Do you know I had a Minumum of 3 Wholes under each Radiator...a HUGE whole behind my stove & Tons of other cracks. This complex is OLD & they need to TOTALLY redo them when a tenant moves out. i was good for a week & then a week later I start siing dropping AGAIN. Well i wrote them & told them i NEED to break my lease with NO Penalties. I cant; live like this. Thanksgiving around 1am...my TV in my bedroom was off & all i heard were ALOT of mice scurring...on my ceiling So they are in the walls OR they were in my neighbors apartment. I think it was a Rat having babies..becasue NOW i walked in yesterdday & saw a dead mouse & my dog killed it. I scremed for 5 minutes. So that same night i went to put my Dogs food up & BAM another Mouse...I screamed again. This is REDICULOUS..they are finally escavating our Pool BUT WHY in the winter...WHEN there tore down the buidling & started digging I could imagine what came out. i have a Huge crack outside my so called Exterior...where thet have the Plywood..Its cracked SO ANYTHING CAN CRAWL IN! They just DON't Care & I AM NOT DYING OR GETTING SICK. WHO wants Mouse Droppings ON THEIR STOVE ! ILKKKKKK! I jumped all night !
Middlesex management AKA Atlantic Realty Development Corporation is a nightmare, these people are rude and it seems like by paying rent to them you are doing yourself a favor.

3. Never accepts blame and blame you instead
4. Their online rent payment system malfunctioned and instead of accepting mistake they asked me to pay by phone (3%) charge or there were chances of court notice, can you smell a rat here...

We viewed Model in May and were told by rental office that the unit would be clean and like new. I asked if it would be painted and the rental office said yes. Well, moving day comes which is always stressful and after moving out of my old place we recieved the keys. The unit was not painted and in every room you could see the paint marks. What did they expect us to do. And the unit should of been inspected not by the person in charge of the work. My deck is actually rotting and unsafe and 10 months later has yet to be fixed... Disgraceful.
