My square account was hacked 6 weeks ago:
1.I have done everything they have asked me to do, everything I call them they give me something else to do.
2.They told me they would do an investigation and had to wait 7-10 days, so I waited. Call back then tell me, I have Change password which I have done several times.
3.Then new call, I was told you I had to go get a new device because my device was hacked, so I bought a new device.
4.Then another call and was told they told me they needed more investigation.
5.Then I told change my bank information, which I did.
6.Then they told me I must start a whole new account, which I have done.
7.Now they say they must do investigation again.
They have been holding $3467.00 of my money.
My clients are paying, and you are holding my money.
Can not pay my vendors because of this. This is efficient for my credit with these vendors. This is destroying my business.
I have asked Square to close my account and just send me a check. They said that they cannot do that.
