ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard Worst experience ever !!!

I was given a first card who did not work and I called and received a new one..i did the online verification even if tedious app then weeks later my card is still not active ! I have called numerous time their customer service and apparently they did not put my middle name correctly! Every time I speak to someone they say they are taking care within few days and still it doesn't work ! I even had a customer rep that could not handle the claim then she marked me as escalating wich was not even true since having worked customer service myself I am always polite to anyone ! Now I had a feedback the company that have me the card that clincard said they were unable to verify me..last rep i spoke with said that they have forwarded my claim to a different team..I mean imagine you are in need to access that money ! They don't seem to care at all..and putting a correct data in their system with your correct name seems impossible task for them and they put the blame on you ! Never seen anything like that ever !

First of all, customer service sucks! Second of all, I had $13.50 left on my card, and tried to get gas. Card was declined, but they still took the money off of it! Checked my balance before I tried to get gas, and it said $13.50. Checked after I tried to get gas, and it said $0. Third of all, just put the money into your bank account, and don't deal with this corrupt company. Tried to call customer service about it, and they weren't helpful at all!

I am also having issues with the lack of customer assistance with the Clincard prepaid Mastercard. I agree with the sentiments of others that the lack of response is to collect more fees as each month ticks by with unresolved disputes. I have NEVER called any company with a valid credit card number and then be kicked out of the system, because the birthdate is incorrect. Such a LACK of customer support - the caller should be looped to a customer service agent. Gee - a normal MasterCard, Visa, American Express does not do this because they want to help their client. NOT CLINCARD! You are getting interest off of the money on the card and then charge a high fee to manage my money! No statement sent NO customer service! I have asked every research location to NOT continue using ClinCard. I even called Bancorp TWICE, who is the holder of the card and I entered a ticket. Nothing was done to correct this issue even on their end. I have come to the conclusion, everyone just wants to continue collecting as much of the fees as possible.

Unable to access the website after initially setting up my account. Have called multiple times and have gotten no help. Now sorry that I got involved in a vaccine trial that uses such a horrible company. Will be sure to let others know to not participate due to this company.

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard When I try to activate my card, their telephone hangs up, citing technical problems

When I try to activate my card, their telephone hangs up, citing technical problems. This has been happening for several days. I have not found a way to talk to anyone about it, or even how to leave a message. Attempts to use the website are futile, as it requires my PIN code, which I have been unable to set by phone because (see above) it always hangs up.

My understanding was that gift cards (vs your own bank account) balances were to remain the same (in California). I found out that the balance has dwindled to nothing due to monthly fees. What monthly fees, the interest you accrue when someone doesn't use the funds that you are holding? This is such a scam. I called to find out why the card wasn't going through and was told this is how it is.

Not satisfied with this company, this is the third card I had to wait for in the mail after. I I called to complain that I used my card for gas and they tryed to say that my card got Compromised and it was me trying to use it to get gas, so I've been waiting to get new cards in the mail and still has not came. So I called and now I'm still waiting for the second card. It's been a month so whys it taking so long. Every time I call u have to wait 10 business days it's been months

I received this card for doing a contact lens study with Johnson & Johnson. Back in October my card was used for several fraudulent transactions in CA (I am in FL) even though the card was in my wallet. I reported the transactions, filled out the paperwork and still have not gotten the money back or even been contacted with a resolution. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told none are available. So I am out hundreds of dollars and they don't seem to care that they are holding my money hostage.

Thus company is worse that the DMV. The phone system to check on your account is terrible and incomplete. CSR line is another joke. 3 calls placed each was nearly 30 minutes on HOLD! I was dumb enough to say call me back. Yeah right. The website for me is useless. I set up account and used it ONCE. Today I tried to log in and had no luck. I tried to reset login user/password and got the LIE recover information was sent. I am still waiting for it. Tell your research facilities to AVOID AT ALL COSTS this company.

The business I cancelled my order with refunded my money two days after I cancelled the order. The clincard card company even after I contacted the business and sent an email and invoice to clincard stating they had released the funds. Clincard demanded a statement on company letterhead and a manager signature. This is impossible since the entire transaction was online! Clincard is holding my money and will not release it. Here is the email that was sent: Hello, For the card ending in xxxx MasterCard, Home Depot has released the approved amount and canceled this transaction. Please see the invoice number above. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact us at 800-430-xxxx Thank you, Customer Service

On October 5 I reported the use of my card as fraudulent with Over a dozen charges to Amazon starting after midnight, and every minute after that depleting my account and Clincard approved an additional $36 dollars putting the account in a negative balance. I completed the Customer Statement Of Disputed Transaction, placed it in the mail that day with the requested supporting documents. Today, 6 weeks later I contacted customer frustration line to be told there was no way she (M. Paradiz) could ascertain if my statement was received only to be told she was unsure. I pressed her as to who could provide me that information she indicated the Dispute Department was and when I requested to speak with them, she indicated to me she could not do that. I'm at a loss for the number of service failures one has to endure to get Clinic Card. I would gladly attach both documents, but this forum does not provide a way. These documents were emailed to me via my email Perhaps I could request a status report on when I might expect the money to be replaced into my account.

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard I've only just tried to activate my card about a week ago and I've had nothing but problems

I've only just tried to activate my card about a week ago and I've had nothing but problems. I activated it online and went to a store the following day. The cashier tried this card twice before saying it was being declined. There's no reason for that as the balance was significantly higher than the purchase price. I let it go thinking that I hadn't activated it properly. A few days later, I wanted to try using it again, so I went to the website to make sure that I had activated it. My login info was saved in my browser, so I know I have an account. It said that my username and password weren't correct. First, I looked up my username and found that it was correct. Then I tried to reset my password (even there's no reason I should have had to do that) and I didn't get a text or email with the verification code. I then called customer service to see if they could identify the problem. First off, I had to provide entirely too much information to prove my identity. With that amount of info, the representatives can easily use the card. I mentioned my problem with not being able to make a purchase and she said that the merchant declined the transaction. That makes no sense. They have no reason to decline the transaction, plus I've used other cards there. I let it go and went on to ask why I wasn't able to access my online account. I was put on hold for 10 minutes. When the hold music went off, I heard the rep breathing, the phone was muted, and then she hung up. There's absolutely no reason to be in possession of this card. It doesn't work and the customer service is clearly shoddy, based both on my experience and ther fact that there are only 1-star reviews.

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard Balance doesn't match amounts of my transactions

Current balance is $35.58 card balance after initial and only use at grocery store Zuppardos in Metairie LA was $59.60 which was several months past.

Cannot check balance on card. Called automated system. After waiting for a human, I was told I had entered the wrong birthdate, to can the facility I was dealing with to get my correct birthday...I know my birthday. I was told until I entered my correct birthday, she could not help me, and then hung up. AWFUL customer report. On a scale of 1-10 it rates -12. Disappointed. At least I'll get to share my experience with the whole group I'm a part of. 10-11-23 2:30 pm

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard Debit card number stolen

I received a ClinCard for a research where I participated. The card was mailed to me and $575. was added. It had an expiration of 03/2024. I have had the card in my possession and no reason to feel the money was not available. On May 5, 2023 I tried to set it up for use. Only to find out the balance is zero. Upon further investigation I learned the final payment from my research company was made on 12/16/2021. On 12/27/2021 someone stole my number and used it to make 107 purchases charged as NNT Microsoft *XBOX @ $5.40 ea from 20:17:22.962 through 21:12:43:302. I have called ClinCard on May 5, 2023 and they have said they could not do anything because it is past the 60 days for the transactions. How does a person know that someone stole the number? I have had the card in my possession the whole time and no one has had access to the number or card. I tried calling Microsoft too. They pointed it back to ClinCard as they had no record of a card with the last 4 digits 5999 being used. I really would like for ClinCard to reimburse my money. When I look at the complaints against ClinCard I find there are numerous people who have reported fraud in Fall 2021. Please help!

Desired outcome: Resolution requested:A new ClinCard with $575.00 on it. Also, for ClinCard to make it harder for a person to use a debit card without more verification it is the correct person.

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard I am unable to access my account online

I am unable to access my account online. I reset my password and my identification using online instructions and and remain locked out. Customer service said the address associated with the card (my street address) was incorrect. Every attempt to access my balance results in the same error page, and the phone "customer service" is beyond inept. The website itself is idiotic and requires a likely inaccessible captcha at every navigation point in a repetitive manner.

I participate in a research study where I am paid through ClinCard. I received my card and am unable to get through to customer service to set up the PIN. You must have a PIN to use the on-line account info. The phone number specified in the information that came with the card and listed on the back of the card (***) goes through a loop and eventually tells you they are are experiencing difficulty and hangs up on you. I have tried several times with the same result.

I am attempting to activate my card and assign it a PIN, but every time I call the number they provided I am hung up on after an automated message says they are experiencing technical difficulties. I cannot access any information on this card via their website because I have to set up a PIN to access it in the first place.

Hi I just got the card from doing a research study I tried activating the card once I got to putting in your birthday it said ok got it then said seem to be having trouble try and then it automatically hung up. I received a debit card from Clincard for participating in a research project. It requires a a pin number to activate. The phone number asks for the debit card number and my date of birth. The automated process then says that there are technical difficulties and hangs up. This is feeling a bit like a scam.

The customer service number AFTER entering the prepaid credit card information WITH birthdate is not functioning and has not for the last two months. I called the *** and placed a complaint. The employee there said that it is not working either when I called last month. I called *** again and nothing was done for me to access the money on the card. There is also a website listed www.myclincard.com BUT you need a pin number to access the card...but ... you cannot access the customer service number because it is not functioning.

I have received a clincard for doing a study. When I go to set up my pin, after I put my birthdate in, it says there's been a technical difficulties each time. I'm hoping someone can help me.

I, work for clinical research . They pay me through, clin card. I was being robbed by a company I had no relationship what do ever with or even heard of them until my money came upissong I called clin card they shut down card now they won't send another because of Adress issue which was resolved between Me and my employer. I, resolve to think fraud on clin card

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard I received a clincard for doing a study in Dec 2020

I received a clincard for doing a study in Dec 2020. I have used it a few times since then. However, I cannot remember my pin at the moment to check the balance online. Each time I call it recognizes the card number, but not my birthday and then hangs up. I have been searching for ways to actually talk to someone to just verify and change my pin so I can access the amount remaining and there is no live option at all. It has been a very frustrating process and I would just like to be able to reset my pin so I can use and take out the money that is left.

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard I received a Clincard from *** for a rheumatology study

I received a Clincard from *** for a rheumatology study. The call in number takes the card number and my DOB. Once I enter the DOB, the call center drops the call leaving no-one to speak with. Having seen other complaints that attribute the problem to the hospital entering the wrong DOB. I called the hospital, they checked and found they had entered the right DOB. There's no way to speak to a person at the call center. I received a text last Monday saying the card received a $75 deposit. But when I go to use the card it gets declined. I'm at a loss about what to do next.

I am in a Covid19 Study .I should have received $250.00 on my card.I have only received a $100.I called customer service they told me to call the study clinic.I was told by them to call and check My card again.The clincard customer service says they cant open up My account and I've called for the last 2day to the study.No is is answering their phones nor returning My call the messages I've been leaving.I just begun this Study.I did all My paperwork,physical,blood work and received the Vaccine.I was told because they did everything in 1 visit instead of 2 I would be compensated the entire $250 8/9 when They gave me the card

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard I received a virtual card from clincard for covid testings in December and have not been able to use card

I received a virtual card from clincard for covid testings in December and have not been able to use card. I have attempted to call clincard support and to contact them via website/app support and could not reach anyone because each support site requires the 16 digit card number which says info is incorrect. On today I spoke with the testing team and was given a number to contact *** and called them with very little help if which I was told that in order to obtain a plastic card I will lose the money ($35) on the card I have. I was also informed that there is no other contact information for support with Clincard and payment on plastic card could be delayed. I was also informed that accessing the clincard is an issue for many clients. I am in need of trying to reach someone to help me resolve this issue as *** confirmed on today that the number I have on my card is correct.

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard I am participating in a clinical research study and am being paid via a ClinCard

I am participating in a clinical research study and am being paid via a ClinCard. Every attempt I've made to contact ClinCard via the phone number provided has been unsuccessful ***. I have called every day for four days & after I enter requested info I get a recording "We are having technical difficulties" and the call disconnects. I have reached out to the study coordinator who verified the card number and has no other number she can call & can not get through either. I see complaints on 7/4, 6/3, 5/7, 2/27 with the exact same issue "We are having technical difficulties" and the call disconnects with no option to speak to a representative. When filling out this report I did find another phone number and was told the card number I verified with the coordinator isn't a registered card, as the coordinator has no number to reach you at either we're at a stand still.

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard my clincard expired in september with $763.87 on it but *** kept charging fees monthly despite never sending me a replacement card

my clincard expired in september with $763.87 on it but *** kept charging fees monthly despite never sending me a replacement card until i was able to reach them on march 10 - it's disappointing that a company would charge a customer for prepaid funds when the customer has no access to the funds due to the debit card being expired. i was charged 9 times the amount of $4.50 for 'inactivity' when inexplicably i could not use the card since it was expired during 7 of those 9 times. i have attempted to contact *** & they only refunded 3 of the 9 charges, despite my efforts to explain that i could not use the money during almost all of those 'inactivity' charges due to their negligence of not sending me a replacement card before the original clincard expired. this is wrong and should be rectified. most companies are trying harder during covid to earn business so i do hope *** will do the right thing & refund my other 'inactivity' charges.

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard I am very disappointed with my clincard

I am very disappointed with my clincard . Someone hacked my Card for $174.00. I reported this on 9/3 they asked me to fill out form which I did. Called back I had 57.00 dollars left on my balance . I could not have my money that was left over. They said I had to wait 10days before they send me a new card. They I found out my facilitator hadn't changed my address so another 10days to wait for a new card. My facilitator gave me a new card still haven't got my 57.00 they didn't steal so I have been waiting 15days to at least get my 57.00. Still haven't heard if they are going to reimburse me for my 174.00 someone hacked my account I feel they are giving me the run around on my money I worked for. This has put me in a very bad situation with my bills and place to stay. People that work for this company have been very hateful and non caring. And unavailable to give me some kind resolution or telling something. As I big company I would expect more than what I have received.Hateful.

The are the card issuer/customer service for a clinical trial i am a particpant on. on 10.11.2021 they deactivated my card *** for suspected fraud. I was not notified of this. on 10.21.2021 after confirming a deposit was made, I went to use the card as it now had a balance of $75 and change. The card was declined. I tried the card again at a different location same thing. I went to transfer the funds from my card to a different unassociated account and was declined. I contact them at *** on 10.21.21 and was told that my card had been locked due to suspected fraud on the 11th and a new card was issued which i should receive thru the USPS by 10.25.21.. I waited till after the mail was delivered on 10.26.21 to call again. The representative stated the only option was to reorder another card and wait another 7 to 10 days to have access to my funds. I asked if there was any way that the original card could be reactivated temporarily so i could transfer the funds and was told no. I asked for the now 2nd replacement card to be expidated and was told this is not an option. I asked for a supervisor and was told it would be 24 to 48 hrs for a call back. This is not acceptable. they are holding my money hostage, earning interest on it and I can't use it. When I explained to the csr that i would wait for a supervisior as a call back in 24 to 48 hours is not acceptable she hung up. I want my money and the replacement card now. I have no option with the program I am in but to use this card service but that gives them NO RIGHT to keep my money from me.

ClinCard Prepaid MasterCard I am participating in a clinical trial of a potential Covid-19 vaccine in Honoulu, Hawaii

I am participating in a clinical trial of a potential Covid-19 vaccine in Honoulu, Hawaii. I'm doing this out of a desire to help my community; I was actually surprised when I was given this card last month and told it would be loaded with a stipend for my regular participation. (The trial does involve filling out a health diary, so it is labor-intensive.) Shortly after receiving the card, I tried to register it, both online and by phone. The online portal (which redirects - and that always makes one suspect) requires a PIN, which must be obtained through the voicemail system. The VM system, however, requests both card -related and personal information, such as my DOB ... and then clicks over to a pre-recorded "Sorry, we are experiencing technical difficulties. Goodbye." I have read previous complaints - exactly like mine - and am really quite, quite sure the laboratory with which I'm working has my correct DOB , as it is an intrinsic part of the study screening. (Age is a factor on eligibility.) After a few attempts at various times to activate the card, I contacted the ***, which is running the study. This seems yto be a common problem ... and problematic for the study itself, because another important demographic that must be tested is an underserved community, many of whose members truly need the compensation they are promised to participate in the study. I have concerns that *** is providing this company with funds that may be kited to mollify previously unpaid claims. If so, it's illegal. If there's no actual malfeasance, and ClinCard is simply not being well administered, the denial of payment to participants still threatens the study, and that is immoral. In either case - needs to be addressed.
