I went to MECA last Friday, May 29th to ask about renting a place. They said the place was free and explained how to apply. I asked if someone else had already applied, so I wouldn't waste my time and money ($50) if someone else had already applied. They said no one had applied, so I looked around and then applied. They checked that my application was in the system and said it was the first one. But this morning, I got an email saying someone else's application was approved before mine. I called MECA and they said there was an application before mine. They lied to me and now I'm out $50 and don't have a place to live. I shouldn't have trusted them because of the bad reviews, but I needed a place to live quickly.

to sleep at night. Despite my repeated requests for MECA to fix this issue, they have failed to take any action. This lack of response is unacceptable and unprofessional. As a paying tenant, I expect to have a safe and comfortable living environment, and MECA has failed to provide that. I would not recommend MECA Realty to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive property management company.

I've been living here for 9 years. These guys are supposed to take care of maintenance, but they don't do it right. They either ignore it or do a bad job that no one checks. They don't communicate with us and it's hard to work with them. They don't fix serious problems that are years old. The mailboxes and dumpsters are falling apart. The lawn is all weeds and the people they hired don't do a good job. There are many other problems that I can't list here. No one seems to be in charge. I had to spend a lot of money and time to fix things myself. I don't know if they've been sued before, but they should be. Don't consider them for your community. I'm reporting them to other people who can help. Thanks for listening.
