laundromat is a front for prostitution
The place is a front for prostitution. The fat old broad is Elizabeth and her ### daughter. The Mom says she gives great deals on hand jobs and blow jobs. She said that they are so good their last name should be PALM. Lizzie works Monday thru Friday 8a-4p and Sunday mornings at about 8am
Read full complaintsorry service
I have read the complaints and mine is no different. 4 weeks for appointment. 2 weeks for parts 2 weeks for appointment to put new parts on. Worked 4 days and started process all over, but this time I have waited 3 days for service and NO SHOW. Still waiting. I have discovered that sears over books. They need to have at least 25 appointments a day scheduled that are no shows for them. I was so angry for days this has been going on for 3 months for me. There isn't much I can do but I have told all my friends to make appointments with sears repair service and just not be there. I know it is not the tech's fault but in my opinion working for Sears is no better than a drug dealer or prostitute NO HONOR.
THis is the 6th time they have replaced the same parts on my Maytag. I'll never buy Maytag again. The new parts were delivered by UPS and left in the middle of my front yard. I can not lift it, UPS advised me to HIRE someone to move them by the house or in the garage.
I have waited 2 more days for repairman. I called [protected] and was given a case number. I talked to Christopher Kellogg and he assured me that the appointment for todayJune 20 would only be canceled by an act of God. How funny they called and canceled, after I waited for 4 hours and took the day off of work. They can reschedule for July 13, Great company.
what kind of scam is this that maytag would let people ruin their name this way
I was told the transmission had to be replaced on my washer which is only a little over a year old. I bought the washer at Home Depot and took out the extra warrenty. I was told first the transmisstion would cost me $350.00 when I told them I had a 5 year warrenty on the machine they then told me the labor would be $350.00. The washer did not cost me that much. What kind of scam is this that Maytag would let people ruin their name this way... I feel like the washer should be replace at no cost to me since it was still under warranty...
The company you purchased the plan from was Federal Warranty. They are liable after 1 year. Transmissions are covered both under warranty and after with any plan. If someone is giving you the runaround, contact your local BBB and your state's Division of Consumer Affairs. Good things should happen after a little legal pressure.
It's not Maytags fault.
It's Home Depot and the company with the fake extended warranty they sold you.
Complain to them.
refrigerator section stopped cooling
We purchased a Maytag bottom-freezer-drawer fridge #MBL2256KES5 a little over a year ago online from HomeDepot.com for $1300 plus taxes. The top part stopped cooling 26 days past the one-year warranty date. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I was simply told there was "nothing we can do."
Really? This is the best they can do? Yes, it is. They did offer to schedule a repair - with what must be a very-very-very-busy Maytag repairman, not the "lonely" one you may have seen on their ads. I declined.
Now that I'm reading various websites, I see our scenario is actually better than average, with most having all sorts of problems with their Maytag appliance during the one-year warranty period. (We didn't buy the extended warranty since consumers' advocate groups consistently recommend against it.) Shame on us for not paying attention to these published horror stories BEFORE we bought. We will never, ever consider buying a Maytag appliance again and will discourage everyone we know from doing so.
Paying $1300 for an appliance should get you at least five years down the road before you start feeding the meter.

I purchased a Maytag gas stove model #MGR5751BDS in July of 2008. This product failed right out of the box. First the oven clock stopped working, then the burners had trouble, then the oven started cooking at random temperatures, finally it failed completely. I have called Maytag numerous times and have had a number of service calls (each service call meant two visits by A&E: one to assess the problem, two when the parts arrived to install them). I have missed countless hours of work, spent numerous hours on the phone with Maytag arguing with them that the stove is simply a lemon. Finally, they agree to replace the darn thing (which I didn't want another Maytag, but can't afford another new stove with this one only being 6 months old and they refuse to return the money for it) on December 19, 2008. I keep calling after that to confirm when the new stove will arrive, only to be told today, January 5, 2009, that it was incorrectly ordered but will be ordered today. My guess is that it still hasn't been ordered, and I will keep being put off.
Bought an $1800 3-door / bottom freezer Maytag/whirlpool refrigerator from Lowe's
six years ago. The compressor went & they want $700 to repair. I WILL NOT spend
$700 to repair a 6 year old fridge that will probably die again. MAYTAG's are JUNK.
Every other brand refrigerator I've owned lasted 15-20 years with NO REPAIRS and I
gave these away in good working order to others. Went out & bought a 4 door fridge
(not maytag) Cost $80 to have a maytag repairman 'look-at-it'
I will NEVER buy a maytag / whirlpool product again.
Purchased a energy approved Whirlpool washing in November 2010. It weighs the clothing to determine how much water is needed to wash the clothing. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough water to get the clothing wet enough and had to rinse the clothes 3 times to remove the soap. Purchased a Maytag in July and the water drains out of this machine while you are trying to soak clothing. This machine was supposed to be the answer to my problems. Lowe's sales people really don't know anything about the machines. They are just selling the most expensive machine to pad their pocket books. What a nightmare!
i bought a Maytag front load washer in October 24, 2010 ihave not been able to use it, because it came damage by the manufactorors. I contacted them by phone several times and it took them three months to send someone, (A and E sears repair) two months past I did not get the oarts necessary or a replacement washer. I kept calling and finally they send someone again in May 2011. They said they where going to order the parts, because THEY NEW THE COMPANY WAS NOT GOING TO REPLACE THE MACHINE, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ALREADY DAMAGED. They said I would get the parts between THREE TO FIVE BUISSNESS DAYS, i only got one part. A and e send a repair guy again, the 22nd of June this one said they needed the entire machine in parts and THAT HE WOULD ORDER THE PARTS. I call A and e one week later and they said they were waiting on the manufactor to send the parts, (Whirlpool). The 26th and the 27th of July I got the parts. At the 22nd of July another repair man came and said we needed more parts. Today is August 16, 2011 I called Whirlpool and A and E and now they said the parts wont be here tilll AFTER OCTOBER 26TH, WHICH BY THEN I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR PARTS AND LABOR IF I WANTED IT FIXED, BECAUSE BY THEN THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY WILL EXPIRE, and here I am with a $700 washer, which was never used and they refuse to fix/replace. They sold me a LEMON!
used the self cleaning option on my stove and it burnt the control panel on the back of my stove

poor washing quality
If you have a Maytag Quiet Series 200, buy a star screwdriver kit. You will need one.
If the quality of your washing steadily goes down, try taking it apart. You will need a star screwdriver, 2 sizes.
Take out the bottom rack. Under that is a shield, take that off. Under that is the arm and attachment, take that off.
Under that is a round "cam" that looks like a pulley wheel with one "screw", take that off.
Under that is a filter. Take it off and clean it out. Then put it back on and reverse the process to put everything back. You will have to do this every so often, depending on how much "food" goes into your dishwasher. I find that about once a month is necessary, even if I try to keep all the dishes scraped and cleaned before I put them in. I mean, come on, what is a dishwasher for if you have to wash them before you put them in!

This stupid useless piece of crap does not wash dishes. I put em in clean, they come out full of little pieces of stuff -- looks like sand. Please make Maytag stop producing them. People are being scammed.
Have had service man in, says nothing he can do; that's the way the machine is. Pathetic.
tata indica vista quadrajet aura abs 1 month back byed car but streing oil pipe horijental damged while running it is maunfactured defect so pls rectified as early as possible.

defective dryer
Purchased a Maytag dryer in October '09.A month later it stopped drying my clothes.A service technician came out and said it was the thermostat and drum.I waited 10 days for the new drum.Meanwhile going back and forth to the laundry mat to dry clothes. The drum gets there and when the service guy opened it, it was cracked.I had to wait another 10 days for a new one.Three months later the thermostat burns out again.Long story short..Easter weekend of this year for the 6th time, the dryer broke again.I called corporate headquarters and basically had to jump through hoops to get a new dryer.Maytag had the worst customer service. They said they would give me a call when the dryer was delivered to a warehouse and ready to come to me..never happened..I've had to follow up with phone calls for the past 2 weeks to get any help. The dryer has been sittng at the warehouse with no phone number or address for delivery..I will never purchase another appliance from Maytag or Whirlpool!

I have a 2 year old Maytg dryer that stopped working, The part that was ordered did not solve the problemsand we were told it probably could not be fixed. Maytag certainly isn't living up to it's repuation. The Washer machine we have also is too light, it bounces all over the place when spinning. If a load is unlevel it takes three or four spins to wring clothes out. I will NEVER but Maytag again

Recently had these guys out to my house to fix a problem w/ my dryer. They misdiagnosed the problem and will not refund the outrageous $75 service fee.
In a mere three minutes at my house, the guy diagnosed a broken blower and said it'll be $400 to fix. Alternatively, I could take my receipt for my $75 service fee to Sears to just buy a new one. After pricing new washers and dryers, I had a second company come look at the dryer. This guy actually took a few minutes to look under the hood, so to say, and found a small sock in the motor. Took it out and the dryer works fine!
A&E (AKA Sears, I believe) will not refund the $75. And here's the thing... had the same problem a year ago and the A&E guy that time found the problem. So why wouldn't this guy have gone through the same diagnostic problem? Is Sears trying to drum up new sales for their appliances?
By the way, shop around... the second company I hired was a local firm that charged HALF the service fee!
i have had a maytag washer and dryer for 13 years i paid over one thousand dollars for the set...over the 13 years i have had them i have had to fix the dryer now 3 times...and now its a biggie problem with the drum...a high end part to buy...plus its not drying unless i leave the clothes in the dryer for about 2 hours!...i was told to buy maytag as it was the best but i am now gonna buy a GE...stay tuned!...april
bad washer
Anyone looking to buy a Magtag washer DONT DO IT. We purchased our on 1/26/09 and we are currently waiting for the 4th drum/bearing assembly to be replaced. It is on back order until 5/13/2011. We have been waiting since 4/1/2011. We called Maytag and basically got the too bad for you. I was informed that since we purchased the extended warranty that it is not their problem anymore. It is the problem of the service company. I asked several times why they did not back their name, and the CS rep. made it perfectly clear it was not their issue.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Customer Service and even worse product!

maytag front-load sucks
We purchase a new maytag frontload washer and frontload dryer. The first load in the washing machine was so loud (like an airplane just landed on top of our house). So, repair man #1. Ok 12 repairs later and still does not work well. Loud, shakes, walks and does not spin water out. I asked them to replace the machine ... We need to do a service call first -really the first 12 were not good enough? Now, after the last service call the service man #13 thinks the frame is damaged and needs to be replaced. Called Maytag twice put on hold 45 minutes each time just to hung up on me. Rrrrrgg help! I just need another new washing machine.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Not sure how that comment from me got here, it was for another complaint lol!
No offense but common sense should tell you not to buy from a foreign country.
I have the same problem! Drum, seal and bearings were replaced in Jan. 2011. Repairman came yesterday because again the machine is sounding like a jet taking off when it spins! He told me it was a normal sound! The machine is not even 1 year old!
refrigerator and microwave
In July 2006 I purchased a Maytag refrigerator (model #MFI2568AES serial # 10831847JE) and matching Maytag Over The Range Microwave (model# MMV5165BAS serial# 11607619JL). This was my first time purchasing major appliances and decided on Maytag not only because they looked beautiful but also because I grew up with the Maytag repairman on TV and apparently was branded. Between the Fridge and Microwave I spend almost $3, 000. For that kind of money I assumed I could direct my cares elsewhere because I surely wouldn't need to worry about my expensive new appliances. Wishful thinking. In Jan 08 the refrigerator's HV Board failed, good thing it was under warranty. Next to break were the water and ice, just one month after my extended warranty expired - I think I know what the problem is - I recently bought the replacement parts but can't figure out how to get the fill tube and hose out or in (PN#[protected]).…. and there is no Maytag repairman at the end of your toll free line. Then there is the microwave. The handle broke off two years ago. We have been working around the no handle problem and figured once my husband or I found work perhaps we could afford to replace the door. Yesterday I was warming my daughter's bottle of milk and the lights just simply went out! So now I have a very disagreeable sense about Maytag because my $2400 refrigerator can't make ice or water (my antique harvest yellow no-name in the garage can still do that) and now I have a broken down Maytag microwave. These products are not even 5 years old. Is this what I should have expected from the Maytag name? My next major purchase will be Kenmore, I understand that Sears stands by their products.

I am having the same problem too! Everything the gentleman said was true! All you have to do is get on the internet and it will show you how many people have had trouble with this refridgerator. Not to mention the control board which is totally a big problem. I called Maytag with no help whatsoever. They could send a repairman to put in the piece I bought for 200.00 and charge me a arm and leg as well. I think the Maytag Repairman commercial in hindsight, that I also grew up with, was just a commercial that proves how he has to come out and fix their products.
worst washing I ever owned
We purchased a Maytag Bravos Quiet Series 300 last fall. We picked this model because it had a large tub for washing blankets and large loads. It is the biggest disappointment we ever had. It is incapable of washing a large capacity load without balling the laundry up in a tight ball. It will not wash a load of sheets or blankets without going out of balance AT LEAST 4 times. It's not much fun wrestling a queen-size blanket that is full of water and wrapped up in a tight ball. This is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE -- DO NOT buy one of these. The only guarantee is that you'll regret your purchase and develop even more of a hatred for doing laundry.

Charged a service call plus labor plus part for a 10 minute job to replace the control board. Total cost $346. Went through one complete wash cycle normally. One week later, worked for two loads OK (I think, as my wife did not complain, but has dimentia so is not reliable in recalling problems). The next week, the same F1 error stopped the filling, but as my wife did not complain, we did not call the problem in. The next week, She complained that she had to reset it, so the following week, I watched the cycle and observed the problem at the start of wash fill and start of rinse fill. a few days later, I got around to calling in to Maytag who scheduled them for another service call. I called ASI who said the part was covered by a 90-day warranty, but labor was only 30 days. They agreed to drop the service call charge, but I would have to pay the $80 labor. Since replacement is very easy, I asked to get the part and install it myself. They refused to supply the part without my paying to have it installed. I explained the problem to Maytag Customer Service who contacted ASI and verified the issue, but was told that they could not supply the part. I asked to speak with a Supervisor after explaining with some emotion that while I realize the person on the phone did not have authority to help, this unreliability and failure to replace a part that failed after 2 uses was totally unacceptable, and that I if I did not get satisfaction, I would start a campaign to let others know how unreliable these electronics are and how Maytag and its service agents are reluctant to work with customers to fix unreliable parts. The supervisor consulted with others and agreed to replace the part at no charge.
I am happy that Maytag finally stepped up to the plate; it appears from other complaints on this site for another appliance service company in Houston that Whirlpool does not routinely require their service agents to resolve service problems in a reasonable way. I only got satisfaction by taking extra time to push for a better resolution. ASI appliance did not help in this regard and left me holding the bag. They should have had a way for me to exchange the faulty part or waived the labor (30 days is not long enough, as this is a ruse to avoid the responsibilty in the event the costomer procrastinates). A little flexibilty would have avoided this complaint and kept the customer happier, considering I was disppointed to have to pay this large repair bill on a 3 year old washer.
When I first called they should have offered to supply the part for me to replace myself. That is what K&N Service does forSubZero refrigerators; I have replaced several parts with advice from their sales people (pay for parts, not labor) ASI also is a little sloppy with business practices: I could not get an invoice or recept from the technician who said one would be emailed to me -- never received.
defective range
I purchased a Maytag range July 2009 the first time I cleaned the oven, the top of the door turn yellow 'they replaced the top of the door and the gasket. That was June 2010, Jan. 2011 I cleaned the oven and the botton of the oven cracked. Maytag said it was no longer under warranty even though it is defective .I checked the oven temp, it runs about 60 degrees over the set temp.this is a defective stove.Maytag does not stand behind there products.

loud and poor performance
I have had problems from the day the unit was installed. (My plumber said I would hate it and he was soooo right) What a joke to call it the "quiet series" when it sounds like a rocket launch from start to finish. Dishes mostly come out more dirty than when they were put in...a salt looking deposit left behind. The racks are rusting out and the door latch broke. It is less than 5 years old and I will need to replace as nothing is on warranty. Outside of the mentioned problems, you want to know that the rubber surrounding the tub detiorates and overtime you could end up with a flood, according to the plumber.

blew up and was on fire
First of all, their Legacy Series Quiet Series 30 is on RECALL/ALERT - Heating Element causes a fire.
Well, their electric cook top blew up and caught on fire.
Safety personnel attempt that a small boil over, may have been the culprit. Get real - our old electric appliance with spill overs never had this problem.
Moreover, their knobs melt down - it's all scratched up under six months. Worse Product ever.
One Year Warranty - we eat the cost and I can tell you that it definitely won't be a MAYTAG, ever.
Risk losing your home with a MAYTAG APPLIANCE - MAJOR FIRE HAZARD.
Taking them ALL OUT - purchased the latter part of 2008. Today is March 16, 2011. Not quite THREE YEARS, and it just about burned our house down.
not standing behind product
I have a four month old stove, and the paint on the handle is bubbling and chipping off. Now I paid full price for this thing, at a local appliance store. For a month I tried to get in touch with Maytag, sent them proof of purchase, waited on hold countless times, then a rude man says "we don't cover cosmetic items" For a stove I bought in October? Are you kidding? So all the paint can chip off your appliances a few days after you buy them and you are just out of luck? POOR warranty. I am ripping the stove out, and returning it to the store. Never will I buy Maytag again.

My maytage clothes dryer that is less than 5years old is literally falling apart at the seams and maytag would do nothing to help me on the price to repair it.. never buy maytag again...
maxima 6000 dryer
Purchased the Maytag Maxima Washer/Dryer from Home Depot on 1/19/11. On 2/28/11, the dryer stopped working. Repair came out on 3/2, said that they had to order a part. On 3/7, I found out that the part required to fix the problem wasn't available and I'd have to contact Maytag. On 3/8, the rudest customer service person from Maytag called me back (several hours after the promised 24 hours call back time), and told me that they would send out another dryer in "7-14 business days." I spent $1, 000 on a dryer that I haven't been able to use for almost two weeks, and it will be several more before the replacement comes in. I will never buy another Maytag again, they don't stand behind their products or care about how their inferior products affect the people that buy them.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
my maytag washing machine empties the water too fast for my 2& drain to handle
I have had a plumber out twice and the Maytag service man once. They both said that all newer washing machines have bigger water pumps and empty the water too fast for most 2" drains to handle and that I would have to clean my drain very often or replace it with a 3" drain.
If I would have known this I would never bought a new Maytag.
I would advise anyone who is thinking about a new washing machine to keep his old machine as long as possible or be prepared to pay a plumber very often.
do not buy extended warranty
Under no circumstances buy the Maytag Extended Warranty. We live in NJ and the only repair service they have is A&E Factory Repair. They only had one contractor to work on our washer. Maytag customer service has no incentive to fix your appliance. I called for an appointment and they told me it would be nine days before someone could look at our washer and if that date wasn't good, it would be two weeks. The actual customer service people from Mayag were surly, reprimanding in their tone of voice, and a take it or leave it attitude. You know the feeling of rage you have after standing in line for an hour at the Dept of Motor Vehicles and then the agent treats you like dirt? Welcome to Maytag Extended Warranty.

12-4-14, My name is Bob O'Byrne, back in 2001 I bought my wife a Maytag Washer, on of their heavy duty ones. I have had the machine for 14 yrs. and it was under their Extended Warranty through out the time span. Nov 25th the Washed, stopped working. Contacted, Maytag EWS and setup a service call. Date was Dec. 2nd. Ok the repair tech showed up, did a spot inspection on the unit, He declared it Un Repairable.. Next Dec. 3rd, I'm informed by the Powers that be, that they were not going to replace the unit, instead, they prorated a payment of 148.50 and also canceled the balance of the service contract. still had a yr. and a half left on it. Oh I was not reimbursed on that either, Nope I loose they win. Please Maytag EW is a Trap
Hi, Wayner97. My name is Melanie, and I am with Maytag. I apologize about the issues you have had with your washer. I have spoken with you previously about this issue before. If you have any further questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact me, or call your extended service provider for further assistance. Sincerely, Melanie.
I have a service contract with Maytag extended service. I had a problem with my washer and called on a Thursday. I was scheduled an appointment with A+E on Monday between 8 and 12. After waiting until 12 I called A + E and was told the technician was running late and would be there between 1 and 5. AT 4:30 they called and said they had to reschedule. Since I was rescheduled I expected to be first on the list...NOPE...they would be there between 12 and 5 on Tuesday. I called Maytag and complained and they put me on hold and called A+E. They told me the technician would call me to let me know what time he would be there. At 3 I called A+E and was told I was next on the technician's route. At 4:30 they called and had to reschedule for Wednesday. Again I called Maytag and they put me on hold and of course apologized. They called A+E and assured me the technician would be there first thing in the morning. At 10 on Wenesday I called and was told they would be there between 12 and 5. I called Maytag, was put on hold while they called A+E, then was told that they would be there between 4 and 5 and the tech would call me. At 4:30 the tech called and said he was on his way. He arrived 4:45 spent 15 minutes ordering parts. Told me they would be delivered to my house and scheduled me for Saturday (a week and a half later) at 8 in the morning because the job would take about 2 hours. The parts were delivered to my house and I had 3 large boxes sitting in my living room. I called A+E on Thursday and and again on Friday. I was told the tech would be at my house between 8 and 12.. On Saturday I called Maytag at 10 and told them noone had showed. They put me on hold and called A+E. They told me the tech would be there around 12:30...This happened at 12:30 2:30 and 4:00. FIVE calls in all to Maytag. at 5 noone showed and I received no call. I called Maytag and they contacted A+E. I was told they had tried to get in touch with me but couldn't..LIES ALL LIES, we were in the house all day. Anyway I am now scheduled for 2:30 next Tuesday...They just don't care, and there is nothing you can do about it. I lost 4 days and am working on my 5th because of this company. I now see online they have many complaints, but MAYTAG does not support the consumer. Also, in additon to our time and agravation, We had to pay to have our wash done and travel to the laundermat, BUT Maytag NEVER has offered anything in return. I will never do business with Maytag again, and in the future if I buy a warranty I will ask who the service provider is...BEWARE of A+E...BTW, I was told that all A+E phone representatives operate out of there homes and just use put you on hold when they need information. Then they call, as you would from your home phone...Shady outfit.
I totally agree with Jillbo18. I had an appointment with A&E on April 14th from 1 pm to 5 pm. The technician called me half an hour before his estimate arrival time of 3:45 pm. He placed an order for some parts to be delivered to my house and I had a follow up appointment for Friday, April 22nd (Good Friday), between 1 pm to 5 pm. No phone calls thruout the day until 5:30 and it was an automated voicemail canceling the appointment. I called A&E back to get another appointment and to express my disappointment because I took the day off on Good Friday to be home for the service and my poor dog was stuck upstairs because he's little and not socialized. My appointment was rescheduled for Monday, April 25th, between 1 and 5. I called in the morning to re-confirm and in the mid afternoon to get an estimated arrival time. I was told that they cannot give me that information until after 5 pm. They have to contact the Routing office. Why can't they reach out to their technicians? Do they not have phone numbers to their technicians? Do they only have one technician per area?
The CS representative was not cooperative at all and I refused to speak to her any further. She managed to get a manager named Suzanne on the phone for me and she was no help either. She actually lied to me and told me a technician will be at my house no later than 7 pm that night. Guess What? No Technician and no apology phone call. I called A&E back few minutes after 7 pm only to be told that my conversation was not documented at all and that Suzanne has left for the day. I asked to be connected to the night manager since the office is open 24 hours and I was told someone will reach out to me within 24 hours. The lack of customer service at this place is ridiculous and has left a bad taste in my mouth. My warranty coverage will be up on May 6th, 2011 and because of this experience, I will not renew my warranty coverage nor purchase any Maytag appliance.
won't run any longer
The dishwasher is not even 2 years old and lately has been hit or miss if the buttons will work to do the wash cycle. So, now it has completely gone to crap and it is only 2 years old. How in the world do companies sell products that last no more than a couple of years. I paid my hard earned money for a dishwasher to wash a load of dishes each day with our busy household and now left with crap. I am unsure what company to go with next for another new dishwasher when I can afford it as GE is the worst company for customer satisfaction as my previous dishwasher and dryer both died right outside of warrant and they would send me only a voucher for $50.00 for another one of their products...never again will I buy anything from them. Help...so frustrated!

I totally understand that we are being ripped off by inferior products that we are paying high dollars for. Once I reached an older age and had a higher income than having to buy at garage sales or St. Vincents I bought what I thought was high quality build to last me till I died products. My thirteen month old Maytage side by side refridgerator that I paid over $1, 500.00 for had the compressor go out just one month out of factory warranty. $800.00 to repair! Are you kidding me?
I also have had problems with new and improved dishwashers, washing machines and dryers. I am so sick of crap being made that I have vouched to going back & buying cheap old appliances for $75.-$100.00 instead of thousands that just break down. God Bless the consumer, warning...manufactures make junk!
constant repairs needed
A replacement for my 2007 Maytag Bravos Automatic Washer is appreciated; due to the fact that since I purchased said washer in April 2007, I have had nothing but problems as follows:
1st call out 10/12/07 washer was leaking
2nd call out 5/13/08 parts failure, per technition.
3rd call out 7/31/08 part failure, per technition (control board)
4th call out 11/11/08 parts failure again, control panel not working correctly.
5th call out 2/05/09 another parts failure/water pump.
6th call outs 1/14/10 installed suspention rod& control panel.
7th call out 12/11/10 waiting for parts to be installed on back order.
As you can see there is definately a problem with this washer and I would appreciate Maytag to replace it and not even consider another part or any other type of replacement. Your prompt attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.

door gasket weak magnet
I have a model MFD2561HEW Maytag refrigerater, which when I close the left door the right door becomes ajar and if your not watching for it the door will stay cracked open letting out the cold air. Seems to me that the gasket magnet is not strong enough to keep the door closed. I called Maytag Dependability Plus in Jeffersonville IN. prior to scheduling any service and they tell me that the gasket is not covered under my contract. So basically I Paid $186.53 for a worthless warranty, if the equipment is defective due to poor design then I should be covered, but not in there eyes. They want to schedule a repair service which I may be responsible for, forget that. I'd buy a gasket and install it myself before paying some ripoff fee for showing up to tell me I'm not covered. Next stop Better Business Bureau.

Are you kidding me? I have a dishwasher model # MDBH969AWB1 purchased at Home Depot on June 13th, 2010. 1 week out of Maytag manufactures warranty it stops working, just dead. Called Home Depot, no help there, nor will I spend another dime with those fools. I called Maytag and they want to send a repairman that isn't even a maytag authorized repairman. JUNK JUNK JUNK! If they didn't build junk they would have gotten my business for a refridgerator, oven with a microwave, etc. I am gonna blow them up with bad blogs, emails, word of mouth and any other way I can destroy them because all they really want is the sale, no help after the fact! DON'T BUY! JUNK JUNK JUNK
Same situation here! Only I had to wait another 2 weeks because the send the wrong part! I was expecting them to rush deliver for the right part (didn't happen) and give me a next day appointment when part arrived (didn't happen) I understand if you are completly booked! but can you pay extra time to technician? or hire more people for God's sake! never ever would buy even a piece of gum from sears.
