Martin Garage Doors of Nevada

I contacted Martin Garage Doors of Nevada (MGNV) on 11/22 to fix my garage door motor. The technician, Robbie M, arrived at my place around 1130a.m. on 11/22. He checked the motor and found that the capacitor needed replacing. I agreed to let MGNV and Robbie M replace the bad capacitor with a new one they provided. The work was done quickly, and the motor started working normally again. However, less than 24 hours later on 11/23, the motor failed again. When I tried to open the garage door with the remote, the motor stopped working and smoke appeared, causing safety concerns. I contacted MGNV, and they said they would send a different technician, Cisco C, to inspect the situation. Mr. C examined the motor and concluded that a new one was needed. I told them I would let them know if I wanted them to do the work. I also asked what they would do to resolve the issue caused by the misdiagnosis of their technician. Their solution was not satisfactory and did not cover the damages. They asked me to call back on 11/29 to speak with a manager for possible assistance, but I never received any help. My motor remained broken, and I had trouble securing my garage door for 5 days. On 11/24, I called another garage door company for a second opinion. They determined that the motor was compromised because the capacitor installed by MGNV was not only used but also had the wrong voltage, causing further damage.
