I am a 73 year old and have been diagnosed with celiac which means I cannot tolerate and form of gluten. I went in to my local store (worcester) today 2/1/2026 at 9.10am and asked what they could offer me having told the staff I was a celiac and was told I could have a toastie or slice of toast when I asked was it gluten free the staff replied no ! they then offered me a bowl of soup (really soup at 9 in the morning ) or a jacket potato but not till 11am !. The store actually has a very good variety of gluten free products in the food hall is it not possible that a gluten free loaf could go to the cafe so it could then be offered to others with a gluten tolrance . Celiac is now widely catered for in other cafes and restaurants .Would like to hear from you as where something could be done I felt like a leper in the cafe as other customers were waiting to be served. Thank you
