Malaysia Airlines my damaged baggage

I travelled from Hyderabad to Melbourne on 2nd of August . When I reached Melbourne I heard from the airport authorities that some baggage was left over at Kuala Lumpur due to belt breakdown. They recorded my details and they sent me my baggage the next day through some courier service. The way they handled my baggage was not appropriate as my bag had all oil stains at one side, the oil leaked inside the bag damaging most of the dresses kept on that side . My bag number is MH 899254 and the courier service that handled the bag is Capital Transit Group ( job number 67250). Please look into this matter and suggest what can be done to cover my damages.

Malaysia Airlines baggage

We flew Phuket to Hong Kong via Kuala Lumpur. Our baggage didn't arrive in HK and we were not told about this by anyone. We had to enquire and the ground staff figured it out. Poor service we weren't told or warned and now we are left without valuable belongings. With the checks the staff do for baggage we expect to at least be warned of this - however no warning and now we cannot get our luggage until maybe the next flight - but this is not confirmed.

Malaysia Airlines delayed and pushed back flights

Both of my flights today, August 3 are delayed. Jakarta - kuala lumpur and kuala lumpur to hanoi.

I am made to wait for almost 14 hours. 6 for jakarta and 7 for kuala lumpur.

We were given access to the lounge here in Jakarta but none at Kuala Lumpur and we had to wait for 7 hours.

Started my day at 1am because flight is supposedly at 4.25am

Please help us make the waiting time in kuala lumpur more bearable.

Malaysia Airlines luggage issue

Really bad service, highly unsatisfied due to unresponsive service. I had mail from last two days still they didn't reply. it is as follow:

Hi ifly.net team and airlines,
I am really disappointed due to my luggage. I confirm with your team that where could I got my luggage and as they suggested that at Ahmedabad the last destination. When I was waiting for my luggage at Ahmedabad, Airport Authority told me it was at Chennai Airport and for that, I have to spend the extra money and went Ahmedabad to Chennai by domestic fight and then they give me. Why it happens, I really disappointed with the service because I confirmed and still it happened. From my one week trip, I have to spend one day to get my luggage from Ahmedabad to Chennai. I hope you understand me and let me know what should I do for return? I have a flight on 3rd August from Ahmedabad to Delhi -Domestic and then international via Kaulalumpoor Malaysia to Brisbane. Let me know, should I have to change luggage at Delhi or I can get at Brisbane?

MALAYSIA AIRLINES can check the luggage onto Air India, but ultimately the decision is made by the person doing the check-in at the time of departure.

Would have been a good idea to check with them at the time of check in.

For this reason, it is best that you call the airline and discuss your concern.

As mentioned, we can provide you with the information given to us by the airline, which is still the same: Malaysia Airlines can check luggage onto Air India and vice versa.

Malaysia Airlines check in /bag check in

I had checked in online prior to the flight. Arrived 2.5hours early... I was asked if i jad checked in online. I said yes byt i dont have my boarding pass printed so i was directed to the check in line. Did not move in the line for 10 mins. Then i was re approached by your lovley team member to say i can go through to bag check in even though i hadnt printed my boarding pass. Amazing ! But i may as well had stayed in the chick in line as there wad only one person on bag check in so it took longer to do that than it would have in check in line. 1 hour it took to check my bag in; is to be quite frank a JOKE! .
I lost out on time to eat and spend any time with my mum before i left for 3 months because i had to go straight to my gate.
I am very dissapointed in your services today.

Malaysia Airlines confused about the first name and last name

I'm was booked my flight on 1/8/18 afternoon, after selected the flight from KUL to PEK, after selected the web page will automatically change to name writing. I'm a Chinese, so first name put in YOKE MOI and last name fill in NG. After completed reservation. I'm make a call to Malaysia Airlines double confirm the name what I put.
The customer service operator said that the name put wrongly, must be pay RM150 to change the name, if not will not allow departure and check in.
Could you tell me that what mean of first name and last name? I'm really disappointed about the on line booking system and make everybody confusing why need to separate the first and last name, why? Just put full name make it clear. It really feel get cheating by your service.
Kindly please give me a good answer.

Malaysia Airlines flight early by 10 hrs

Im Deanna,
My flight on 29 August 2018 from Sydney to Kl has been reschedule early by 10 hours and i did call call centre and they claimed nothing caN be done. means i cannot have free flight for my transit to Penang, I cant refund my flight n get other flights. no compensations at all and im stuck. I should just fly with Air Asia that make me save rm500 yet i choose MAS to support national airlines yet it bring me to the deppest regret. I strongly believe MAS just need to shut down as their service is going from worst to hell. they make everyone 's life in hell without any regret. until now my email to gccc.[protected]@malaysiaairlines.com have no reply. case no:2018072537003765I will proceed to forward this issue to Ministry of transportation also Kpdnnkk and hope a good justice will take place on this

Malaysia Airlines flight delay cause me can't, take my schedule flight no customer service at all

i took flight QR5017 on 19/07 at 7.30pm and flight delayed, we reached penang 8.45, i need to transit flight from penang to Doha by qatar airway. Due to delay, qatar not allowed me to boarding, MAS arrange another flight and travel me to KLIA again and said we could boarding the flight 11pm to Doha, and mentioned crew staff will stand by at gate and give us boarding pass, unfortunately when i reached KLIA again, i cant see no one in front of my gate, and i need to go around few different counter to ask my situation. i really upset and stress on that time, and the end i go to MAS ticketing counter and they said MAS arrange Emirates flight for me to go back to Birmingham, but i need to wait till 2am in the morning. it means i missed very important appointment because flight delayed. the worst things is my luggage was not travel with me, when i reached birmingham, i been waiting half an hour for my luggage . the crew staff told me my luggage still in KL, all my stuff is in my luggage, what could i said? i really disappointed with MAS service, due to flight delayed and i spend 25 hours for travelling my journey ,somemore i am vegetarian, and i could not get meal during flight in Emirates as it need to book in advance, and i am still dont know where is my luggage now…

Malaysia Airlines insufficient value of meal vouchers given for rescheduled flights

Our party of 8 people were booked with Malaysia Airlines flying on 6th July from Singapore to Sandakan via Kuala Lumpur.
Flight MH602 Singapore to Kuala Lumpur departed 06.40 on time and arrived to schedule at 07.40.
Our onward flight to Sandakan MH2710 was scheduled to leave at 10.45am, but by 9.31am departure board was showing delayed until 15.00hrs.
We went to Malaysia Airways check -in desk and were in formed that as flight would be delayed we would be given breakfast and lunch vouchers for all 8 of us.
However, at 13 Ringits and 20 Ringits respectively per person, these were not enough to cover any meal on the breakfast menu, never mind adding a drink! The 20 Ringit lunch voucher was JUST sufficient to purchase a meal, but NOT including a drink.
This is the subject of my complaint and we feel entitled some reimbursement for our out of pocket expenses to cover basic meal prices. For the record, after numerous texts notifying us of changed departure gates, at 14.46 the departure time was again changed to 15.55 but des[pite showing as "gates open" did not state which gate!

Malaysia Airlines overbooked flight

I bought a return flight from Melbourne on the 27/3/18, e-ticket number [protected] via Zuji.
My flight from KL to Melbourne was fully booked (MH)-129 on 21/7/18. Therefore I was put on a flight from KL to Perth (MH)-125 followed with a flight from Perth to Melbourne with Virgin airlines (VA)694.
This shouldn't be happening cause I thought that Malaysian Airline is good with delivering their rightful services. I didn't arrive in Melbourne until 11.30pm instead of 7.15pm.
If I would have known I would have flown with Singapore airline if I want a stopover.

Malaysia Airlines flight cancelled

Dear Sirs,

I am very disappointed with the services provided by your airline. Flight tickets bought 7 months ago. No whatsoever warning given for my flight KLIA-PEN has been cancelled. I travelled all the way from London to Dubai to KLIA. I am so tired due to my flight. I have a connecting flight to Penang at 11am but now change to 4.30pm. I arrived at KLIA at 8.30am. For 8 hours, what am I supposed to do. No other services provided although I have told them I had stroke and needed to rest . Only provide breakfast and lunch vouchers for the 8 hours?this is ridiculous. I want some sort of compensation for the flight cancelled.

Malaysia Airlines rude inflight supervisor on flight mh 003 london-kuala lumpur 6 july 2018.

Flight MH 003 London-Kuala Lumpur 6 July 2018 .

I was about to enter the Business Class toilet when a voice said in harsh tone, "This is the last time you use this toilet!", and "Never mind, never mind!" as I closed the door.

I was taken aback by this rude request. I was after all travelling in Business Class. I could only guess that she must have thought I was from Economy. Even then she could have said politely to whomever she thought was.

I later went back to my seat (10K) feeling embarrassed as other crew members were around when entering the toilet. Settled down in my seat, I waited if she would come to apologise. She did not.

After the first service I called her. I said "Do you know why I call you?. She said "No".
I said "You were rude to me when I was about to enter the toilet".
She said, "Sorry I didn't realise. I thought it was someone from Economy"
I said "It doesn't matter, you were extremely rude.'
Surely, she was senior enough to know the correct behaviour.

Until today I cringed at the thought of what was said to me by the lady Inflight Supervisor. I felt insulted. This should not have happened at all in a MAS Flight.

Malaysia Airlines flight cancelled

I got up at 3am on 4th August to get to the airport for 5.35 flight, to find it had been cancelled and I was put on the 19.45 instead. This delay caused me a number of problems on my return to England, including missing business a appointments.

Malaysia Airlines mas klia staff service

On 8/7/2018, I was due to fly to Taipei on Business Class with my family (ie pregnant wife and 1.5 years old son) at 9.20am. After Check in early, we waited at lounge for a while and reaching the boarding security gate at 9am. There were only 1 counter open for Singapore, Vietnam and Taipei departure which was maned by only 1 person.
There was a long queue and we waited for a while, and when I notice it is taking too long, I ask the security that my flight was 920am, can you let the plane know. He replied "ok, and pointed us back to queue" . When we were pass through the security and walking down the escalator, we were completely shocked that the gate was closed. When we are at the gate, there was 2 lady ( namely Rosmawati and Hayati) shouted at us "What is the time now?". They were not polite and showing tantrums. We then told them we already told the security. They continue to being impolite and not addressing the issue, while wasting time asking " which security ? " And start calling the security over the phone, worst is that they start losing control of their emotion and arguing with the security over the phone, shouting and blaming each other instead of calling the captain to check if they are able to let us in.
At that very moment, we saw our luggage were being loaded into the plane while both ladies were arguing to or not to let us in. The plane has not even take off and the walkway connection was still attached to the plane when we were at the scan gate.
The very disappointment is : We were queuing up before the announcement of gate close. Once we saw the announcement of gate close on the screen, we quickly alerted the gate officer off our concern but we are told to stay in line and to queue. As there were some announcement of gate changes for flight departure to Singapore, passengers were making noises to the changes and it makes the queuing time longer. We did not see any officer checking with us or anyone along the queue at all which we understand that was the minimum that they should do before raising the gate close decision to Captain.
After the "DRAMA" and being barred from entering the flight, there were no solution or customer care given. We were asked to proceed to lost and found to retrieve our baggage. We were there for almost 1.5 hour to retrieve our baggage as it was raining that day. Is this how the Enrich Platinum Member is treated? Not only that, with my wife being high risk pregnancy being humiliated together with a toddler and 2 senior citizens?
I am so disappointed with how MAS KLIA handle the situation with no professionalism and politeness. Is this the way to treat their customer especially with high risk pregnancy lady, toddler and senior citizen?

Malaysia Airlines Flight delay and mistreatment

My flight was delayed yesterday 16/7 from 12.40pm til 6.35pm. I was at the airport in Penang at 10am and was notified at my check in point of my delayed flight. I was stuck me and my husband at the airport for 8.5hrs as the flight ended up being more delayed and didn't fly out until 7.35pm. Flight number mh1155. I'm very upset as I'm on my honeymoon and instead of enjoying it i had 2 flights being delayed. The first one was in Langkawi airport going to Penang. I expected at least better treatment and service from Malaysia airlines. It's enough my husband had lost his push bag which had our spending money in it and not much help was provided either. The staff in Malaysia are heartless and not helpful i would've gotten better treatment in Australia. Also i missed out on my stay in the hotel and now I have to pay extra to delay my stay which i don't see fair as it wasn't my fault to begin with. I would like to be contacted by the manager as i am requesting compensation for this horrible trip. I will never recommend Malaysia airlines to anyone if ever asked

Malaysia Airlines lost of baggage

I went ho chi Minh city Vietnam trough Malaysian airlines from Sri Lanka.
My laggage was lost when I arrive at ho chi Minh city. It was happened 16th of June 2018 and the laggage is not found yet.
I made so many complains, called here and there still no laggage or claims. Now it's been a month. What should I do to recover for all valuables in my laggage. Now I'm in Sri Lanka again. I had my travel with out my laggage. I'm going to reveil this matter to media and this Malaysian airlines should be fined for these errors. If not I'll make a court case regarding this matter.

Malaysia Airlines failure to deliver my luggage from last 10 days

Dear sir,

I traveled on mh0172 from kl to delhi on the 06/6/2018 on economy class. I arrived at 12 noon at new delhi airport but one of luggage with tag no mh 816320 was missing. I was told that my luggage would be available by monday or tuesday but that did not happen. I was then told on the 10/6/2018 that my luggage was with vendor with reference no 26649 it will be delivered by evening or next day. But no delivery happens. Vendor mobile no [protected] was switch off. Landline [protected] people were giving same answer again and again. Now its almost a week and no delivery till date.

I find this most unsatisfactory. The delay has caused me inconvenience as I have my kids and mine clothes, documents and most important medicines which are not available in india. I got them courier from new zealand. You people donot worry abt person health condition. It may be life threatening to any one. I am requesting the people on call to deliver it urgently as it has medicine but all in vain. The attitude is pretty poor if malaysia airlines just delivers your luggage when they choose to do so at their leisure if they mishandled your luggage. No compensation is offered for the inconvenience as well. You would expect the airline to pay the taxi fares to deliver the luggage and give priority to any urgency.
Await your reply. I travel on mas most of the time but not in future.

Malaysia Airlines service

ou guys have worst customer service experienced in Auckland and callcentre. no proper information is given call waiting for 45mints, no one on check in counter, lost flight. customer care says I have to there before 4hours of my flight, change in prices after booking just had a very poor service. my first and last with MALAYSIA AIRLINES please dot waste your money on this crap.

We had a flight from Hong Kong to Chennai, India on 14th July which was cancelled. We were reallocated another flight which had an overnight layover in Kuala Lumpur from 12am to 9:35am. We were promised we will be provided accommodation in Kuala Lumpur and were asked to approach the transfer desks. But when we reached airport the transfer desks were closed and said it won't be reopened till 6am. We contacted the customer care but they just asked us to wait and after further calls they started disconnecting our call. It is great inconvenience to us in terms of time as well as we lost a lot of money as we had to reschedule our entire plan and meetings. But there is no helpful response from the airlines instead they started ignoring. We consider this seriously as in case of such situations airlines has to provide the required accomodation. We want a full reimbursement else we will be proceeding with legal action as it caused a lot of inconvenience and physical as well as mental stress
