Main Street America Insurance

February 26, 2022 - My Ford Bronco Sport had a collision with a deer. Main Street America Insurance, my insurance company, declared my car as totaled three weeks later. We still haven't settled the claim. The car is in my name, with no outstanding loans, and it's currently at Jet's Auto body in Kinderhook, NY. My representative, ***, is handling the insurance matters. You can reach him at *** or *** The insurance company didn't follow the regulations set by NYS. They created cars with fake VIN numbers and false stock numbers. The cars mentioned in the CCC Report on page 7, comp 2 & comp 3, are the ones with fabricated information. Those businesses never had cars meeting those criteria on their lots. On March 31, 2022, . *** sent me a letter, asking for a response by the same date, or he would close my claim. However, I didn't receive the document until April 4, 2022. This goes against the NYS Regulations. . *** sent me a salvage value check of $17,000, stating that I would keep my totaled car. This was never discussed or agreed upon with . ***. As of June 17, 2022, I haven't received any money from this company. I have attached documents as proof of their fraudulent actions. The insurance agency I purchased the policy from is Metwood Insurance in Chatham, NY. I have provided them with all the necessary documentation, but they haven't shown any support or assistance as a customer or client. I have sent them emails and tried to get information over the phone, but they have chosen to remain silent.
