Thanks for reading my complaint.
Below is my complaint in the simple form.
Not a money problem, not a problem at all.
I followed every ordering prerequisite asked of me.
To my dismay, I was investigated like a criminal.
I was treated poorly, unfair, disrespected, out right mistreated.
I was ask, who I was. I was treat so badly it brought to tears.
As you will see below, I only ordered a waffle iron.
When I ask what is wrong with my order, the lady said: "we have our own way of how we receive orders, and yours does not meet our standard.
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAS CHANGE AT MACY'S THAT WOULD CAUSE TREATMENT OF A CUSTOMER SO POORLY?
I HAVE ALWAYS SHOPPED AT MACY'S, NEVER IN ALL MY DAY HAVE BEEN SO MISTREATED.
I would like an answer to this...please.

I bought a sofa less then month ago, I have dot spots on it I want immediate replacement.
I complain same time when it was delivered but driver refused to take back and suggest me to call back customer service it was little but now I can see more now, it's less visible in day and more visible in night. I am very unsatisfied with this sofa.

Never received item and continue to be charged on credit card
In early November, 2020, I placed an order on macys.com for 3 items. One of them never showed up. I've contacted Macys 4 times now over the past 30 days, they canceled order back in November, however, didn't let Klarna know I was to receive a credit., ;this was a birthday gift.
My credit card is still being charged for an item I never received as they h ad issues with shipping. I have spent over 6 hours trying to resolve this to no avail, going back and forth between Klarna and Macys.
I've continually received promises from Macys customer service that they will issue the credit and contact Klarna, but to date over 1 month later, they have not completed the credit as promised.
I have had the exact same problem. Macy’s should be penalized for their incompetence. I will contact our local Better business bureau.

I am writing to the corporate office (I hope) to find out "Where is my Order"! On November 30, 2020, my daughter told me what I could get her for Christmas.. The Instant Vortex Plus 10 quart 7-in-1 Air Fryer Oven from Macy's. She lives in Raleigh, NC but I live in Burlington, NC and we don't have a Macy's here. Online I go to order this item, with a shipping date of December 7, 2020. Order# 2140522518.. So far the ONLY contact I have had is with their customer service department in a foreign country with two people that I cannot understand until I make them clarify what they said. This last time I asked to get a number that I can call so that I may find my order. Her response-finally - was to send me to a supervisor, who never picked up after 15 minutes! The purchase money was taken out of my account, very promptly, but I have not heard anything from Macy's. From such a large company I would expect better customer service than this! I took the "standard shipping" but at this point I feel like it should be priority shipped at Macy's expense! I am certainly pissed that I have received no communication from Macy's and whenever I pull up this order it tells me that this item is unavailable! Yet the foreign service reps say "oh, Yes Ma'am it is still available".. Please call me at [protected] cell. I would add my home number but I want to speak to someone directly instead of playing "phone tag"... Every time I call your 1-800-289-6229, they tell me it is being prepared for shipment.. If that was the case then you have absolutely the slowest packers in the world, because this is the message that I have gotten-from your service reps - for the last 5 days!

today i was told that im being investigated for a situation that never happened. i was also told that i was suspended for the rest of the day.the manager said that they have camers in the bathroomand that made me very uncomfortable. i tried asking questions to get a better understanding the manager told me he was goin to call security.
Trouble with my macy card
I have tried to make a purchase of several gift cards with my macys card, and was rejected after it was submitted. When I called to ascertain why, no one in macys could tell me what happened! In fact there was a freeze placed on my card, which at one point was taken off. After spending over an hour on the phone speaking with people who cannot speak the english language fluidly, I was told it was ok to order the gift certificates! Once again, I was rejected! I made several attempts to correct this by recalling the phone number given, I was continually placed on hold, they could'nt find my account, they wanted to verify my account, which I did several times, but to no avail! I am frushtrated and angry, and am totally giving up on macy's, you have lost a customer, and I will do everything within my realm to convince other people not to shop at macys. The customer service program you have in place is the most horrible experience I have had in many years!
I am complain about people stolen my macy's credit card
I am Jean Ronald Jules, I have applied for a Macy's credit card. I never received it, and make any purchase on it. Suddenly, I received a Macy's account statement [protected])with a bill of $281 with a minimum payment due of $29.
Honestly, I don't know any transaction about that.
Can you please help to find who make those orders and which address they used for delivery and which email address they used for those purchases?

Order
I placed an online order for in store pickup. Received notification that one item arrived but that I didn't have to pick it up until the order was completed. Now I get notification that part was canceled due to the fact that it was not picked up. It was a Clinique gift set $73 value for $10. Low and behold, it is no longer available and cannot be duplicated and no substitute. Imagine that. I am not happy and will cancel any outstanding orders. This is bs!
No refund for ordered item no longer available on macy`s online website. Unable to speak to any customer service advisor located in the usa
Ordered (#2058796874) on 11/05/2020 when it showed up as being in stock. As of 11/16/2020, the item has not been shipped according to Macy`s website order status function and it does not show any information for the order status. Customer support advisors, all in the Philippines, repeatedly said that no refund will be processed for this order. Attempts to speak to someone in the USA have all been failures.
I want immediate credit for order that is unavailable & has not been received by me.
Same here. That's what I was told by the very poor English speaking CSR, but 'Consumer Protection' dept. Told me it's an "authorization" thing. But your money is in Limbo until it's replaced
Package received torn and missing item
Purchased 2 knife sets on order #[protected]. Received manila shipping envelope on 10/30/20 and package was torn at top and only had 1 knife set. Called and reported it not received on 10/30/20 and I was told it would be shipped out in 24/48 hours. Never got any emails or shipment. Called again on 11/2/20 and was told the same thing and called a third time 11/4/20 and was told it was under review. Macy's treated like a thief over a $17 knife. It was shipped direct from the manufacturer in a manila envelope and was securely tape to prevent loss of contents. I want the merchandise reshipped to me as it not my fault the item was not shipped properly. It is a disgrace the way Macy's 800 number handles problems. I had problems before when the pandemic started and I had to go thru hell to get it corrected.
Billing rollover of disputed charges every month even after resolution.
I made the mistake of buying some jewellery on installments from macy's. It was paid in full months before the scheduled promotion expiry. However two months later a $292 interest charge was assessed on the promotion because there was a $5 starz pkg charge that was overlooked. I spoke to a representative and had the charges removed. The accound was closed and I cut up the card.
Yet the next month the same charges appeared along with a late charge added. This bankrupt company should be run out of town.
Deceptive billing practices
I've paid Macy's in full and ending with a zero balance before the due date-they have sent be a bill for $2.00 of interest! How could this be when my balance was paid in full? This is deceptive and I've noticed other folks with same complaints. Also, If you're like me, I assume there is no zero balance because I KNOW I paid it in full, so, I wouldn't expect...

I ordered two dresses. I received one. On 7/13/20 the shipment info was sent to UPS. I contacted UPS and they stated that they did not physically receive anything from Macys. I sent numerous emails, sat on the phone for over 30 mins a couple of times and no agent picked up. I never had a problem receiving items from Macys before. This is ridiculous.

I returned an item to Macy's.com in March and have done everything I know to do to get my Visa card credits with the $65 ish return. They sent confirmation that the item was received and return was in progress. After months of calling and emailing they said it would be on my card in 3-5 business days (that was two months ago) . Still no credit for the item!
Customer service for dresser order
I ordered a coaster home furnishing sandy beach 5-drawer dresser on-line from macy's on july 12, 2020. The item was on sale for $729.00. It was supposed to be delivered today (july 21st), and when I did not hear from macy's yesterday regarding my delivery I checked my spam folder, and sure enough they had cancelled my order. When I called today to find out what was going on, I spoke to one person who could not find my order, even though I was reading from the email they sent me cancelling it and I gave her the order number (repeatedly) from that email. She then transferred me to a supervisor named shannon, who was very well-meaning and tried hard (she admitted she was new at the job), but she told me she had no idea why it was cancelled and the item was no longer on sale. When I asked if we could just start from scratch and place a new order, she explained that she did not have the authority to give me the sale price, and she transferred me to her supervisor, a very surly woman named cheryl. From the get-go cheryl obviously had no intention of helping me and told me it had been too long since the original order for me to receive the discount on another order. She honestly sounded completely uninterested and unwilling to even try to find a way to keep this customer happy. When I mentioned that I have had a macy's credit card and have been a loyal customer for over 3 decades (actually, my macy's card says "cardholder since 1991 — that's nearly four decades) and I expected them to make concessions and extend the sale price (since I still don't know why my order was cancelled) — she hung up on me. I kid you not. I tried calling back several times and could not get through. If macy's does not respond to this and rectify this situation in a satisfactory manner within one week from today I am cutting up my macy's card and never entering that store again. It's gone to hell in a hand basket. At the very least, they should start by not keeping people in customer service who hang up on their customers.
Macys' customer service have hung up on me many times, so rude!
Macys furniture insurance
As a devout Macys customer, I am using them to furnish my new home. I purchased a dining room and sectional along with the insurance, which the salesperson assured me, covered "everything". Two years later, I file a claim as the cushions on the $2K Radley sectional have lost their resiliency. Only to find out, cushion resiliency is not covered? Really? I was misled, and lied to and want a resolution. I either want new cushions, or a new sectional.
It is so hard for me to accept what I'm reading on so many message boards, from customers scammed by the Macys furniture salespeople. This is a thing, according to the BBB. They handle daily complaints similar to mine. How can a reputable company the likes of Macys, blatantly lie for a measly $400 up sale?
I feel cheated during this already most difficult times, and I want a resolution. I'm counting on the Macy's I know, to please reconsider and offer me the support I was promised.
Gold chain on sale
I baught a Gold chain online since Christmas holidays were coming & it was on sale for about $300 cheaper than original price. However, when I received the chain it was hollow, which they never mentioned! I kept it because It was a pretty chain, Three months after wearing the chain it started breaking. I've fixed it about 4 times & it still keep breaking! I went to Macy's to make a complaint or exchange or to get a refund but they said they couldn't do anything because I've already wore it & it been couple months ago. Wasted $291.00 for a no good chain.. I see why they had it for $300 less than original price. I've always been satisfied shooping at Macy's until this happen & they don't have any consideration about their customers but about their money. Be very careful when shopping gold chains especially on half price of original price.
I've been a Gold Buyer and Seller for Many Years, and I'm here to Tell You to stay away from Buying Jewelry at High End Department Stores. The Main Reason is that they tend to Sell their Gold Jewelry at a High Premium. What do I mean by High Premium? That is the Amount that you pay Over the Spot Price. The Spot Price is the Price of Gold at any Particular Time. For Instance, if you have a 14kt Gold Rope Chain that weighs say 15 Grams and the Spot Price is what it is Today and thats 57.55 Dollars per Gram. That is the Price for 24kt (999.9%). Now, 14kt means that the Chain contains 58.3% Gold and 41.7% other Alloys. So the Gold Value of the Chain would be around 399 Dollars. Anything over 399 Dollars would be considered the Premium Amount. When you buy Gold Jewelry its best to go to a Place that weighs the Item, and figures out the Value in Gold, at that moment, and then they will Assign a Price. That way its more Transparent and Fair to both the Retailer and the Consumer. A Lot of the Time, the High End Department Stores will buy Huge Lots of Gold Jewelry when the Prices are Low and then Sell at a Higher Premium. Then when the Spot Price goes up, they then will raise the Premium Price, so its a Win Win for them, and you Pay the Price.
Failed to supply my order and they didn't refund my money.
I ordered a bottle of perfume on 05/30/2020. It's curb side pick up macy's at lakewood california. I received a massage and e-mail from macy's that it's ready to pick up. When I got to the shop at 1.20 pm on 05/31/2020, macy's at lakewood was already closed. I went there again the next day but it was still closed. Looked over online information about that store, they were closed whole week. When I called them to cancel my order and issue a refund, they said it would automatically cancel when I didn't come to pick up an order and they would take a week to issue the refund. I didn't go to pick it up again. It has been past a week and there is still no refund and when I call for my refund, they keep prolonging the time they say they will need to give me a refund. They are withholding my money.
Recurring payment issues
On March 18, 2020 at 2:21 pm I attempted to go on the Macy's website and make a change to my recurring payment only to find out that the option to change my recurring payment amount was not available mysteriously during the Pandemic. I then tried to call Macy's and was not able to get through to anyone. After a week I was able to speak to an outsourced representative that assured me they would change the recurring payment amount. For the past three months after each pay cycle I get an automated call stating I have a late fee. Each time, I go through the hassle of getting the late fee waived and make a payment.
The language barrier between this outsourced customer service is a primary reason this discrepancy is not solved and to make matters worse reaching a respectful manager that speaks fluent English is absent. As of now I still haven't been able to correct this issue. You would think these companies in these times would at least secure how they receive your payment.
