Lumber Liquidators review: The flooring I purchased and picked up was not what I requested

In 2019 we purchased floor covering for our new home, from Lumber Liquidators. In 2025 I needed to replace carpet in one bedroom with matching hardwood. In April 2025 we took the box label from left over flooring we purchased in 2019 to LL to order the same for the bedroom, as it needed to match the previous flooring. The new flooring was laid while I was on vacation and it does not match! I called LL customer service. Matt, the guy I spoke with, told me that some time after 2019, LL was purchased by another floor company. Some floor products were not the same and the new company used some new vendors. My complaint centers on the salesman nor any supervisor at the time of us ordering & paying, decided NOT to share this valuable information! We made the salesmen completely aware of our decide to purchase matching flooring covering for the bedroom remodel. We would have made other choices if we were made aware of the changes within the LL company. We possibly would have ordered sample pieces to inspect prior to ordering 250 sq.ft. @ $2121.00 (payment demanded upon ordering). The newly purchased hardwood floor color does not even come close to matching what was in our home. Even when LL salesman physically held in his hand the box label information to order what we requested. I strongly feel we were deliberately mislead by Lumber Liquidator staff via his/their sales tactics and decision to withhold pertinent information regarding the specific hardwood flooring we were ordering. Matt, from LL customer service offered no recourse at all for the inexcusable errors made by LL staff. I request my complaint be given serious consideration as to a positive outcome for me regarding the $2121.00 I paid expecting one precise item then being presented with another item that was not what was ordered nor agreed upon. As well as not being informed of all the variables and company changes known only to Lumber Liquidator staff.
