LoanCare fraud

I purchased a brand new home, so I was aware that my mortgage would go up some, because of property taxes, i wasn't expecting them to miss the mark by over 4000.00, and my mortgage payment go up 334 more a month and then not even inform me until 3 months later when I get a call saying I'm being foreclosed upon and my credit destroyed. How can a company that has 905 complained in the past 3 years still be in business and Virginia Beach pulled their
business license due to fraud

Customer service, you are out and out liars, you have not once tried to get ahold of me ever, but I have, 39 emails to your company without one response back, and I have 62 recorded calls, in the past 3 months, telling me they will look into it and nobody ever does. Let's see what happens to your company when FHA stops doing business with you, due to all the complaints.

LoanCare mismanagement of escrow account

This company advanced my escrow account funds based off an analysis they received from my state on 3/27/19. They paid the additional
funds in October 2019. They then failed to adjust my mortgage payment from April 2019 to October based of the new analysis causing the advanced. When I asked how am I responsible for this issue when it's their job to update my payment they stated that it was not their responsibility. If it's not your responsibility to update my mortgage payment based off the analysis then why do you need to be in control of my escrow account. They then informed me I would have to cover the FY19 taxes and F20 by October 2020. They have yet to update my mortgage payment based of the new property tax. Below is a screen shot were they adjusted it 2 dollars which definitely doesn't cover the 6, 000 in property taxes over a 12 month period. They then offered me a refinance which I declined. I will definitely refinance with another bank. Anyone who has this mortgage company should run the other way ASAP.

LoanCare Mortgage processing

This is simply the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. First, my mortgage was transferred to Loancare from Quicken Loans. Quicken should have never done this, to begin with. Loancare is charging me for online payments now where Quicken did not. They also only have a four day grace period and don't make any adjustments based on when you are paid. They constantly send negative mail to the home and I never have missed a payment. All of there recordings talk about debt collection. They lied to me on several occasions about timing and other things. The best thing you can do if your mortgage gets sold to them is to refinance and get away as soon as possible. I have never had a positive interaction with anyone there.

LoanCare unauthorized payments taken from our bank after arrangments had been discussed

October 2019 My husband called to make arrangements for our mortgage #[protected] to be moved to later in the month due to our daughters tuition being due. it was agreed upon by an agent named Dalton, then on or around Oct. 21st the payment came out of the account anyway which put us in overdraft for that and our other bills that was scheduled which cost us fees on top of what we owed the bank. Then my husband called and it was confirmed that the arrangements had been made, but by that time we couldnt get our money back so we requested a refund of fees we had to pay the bank.my husband also request that the automactic draft be taken off our account which they told me did happen but again on the 30th when the other payment was suppose to come out there was another withdrawal fro our account even after we had requested the removal of the automatic payment from our account which cost more fees. All we ask for was the return of our fees which amounted to under 200 dollars.I sent in request and no one ever responded, i called again I believe on the 21st and spoke to a supervisor named Andrea who seem to be ready to resolve the situation all I had to do was get information from my bank which they already had but i was willing to do it again, because my bank doesnt send letters they were willing to talk to someone on the phone so I called back hoping to get Andrea on the phone but couldnt but I got another supervisor sorry didn't get her name I'm sure its in the phone log she was down right resistant to everything that Andrea had told me basically making it our fault that they took money from our account without permission and then blaming the bank for letting it come out with the person from the bank on the line. the bank personel explained to her what the situation was and she still did not want to work it out. so it was a horrible encounter over less than 200 dollars they are willing to lose a customer who is paying thousands of dollars to their company. so no I do not trust this company and we are planning on looking for another mortgage company who values their customer. they owed fees and didn't want to pay them back. Also our loan is back by the VA my husband served his country 25 years and then cant even get the mortgage company to return less than 200 dollars in fees what a shame. I truly hope this can be resolved.

LoanCare holding funds so I can't repair my home after hurricane michael

Over the past year I have been trying to repair my home from hurricane Michael that came through Panama City in October of 2018. I finally settled with the insurance company and was sent a check. I overnighted the check to loan care. After several weeks I finally received the okay to start getting repair done. As I was requesting funds it took weeks for them to release money. Causing me to pay contractors out of my own pocket. I finally got to the point where I need A inspection done for loan care to release additional funds. It took A month for someone to call and set up a inspection that was only suppose to take 3-5 days. After calling about everyday for a month I finally received a call from a inspector, who told me it would be nearly a month before the inspection could be done. At this point I have spent all my savings on my home for repairs the inspection was done on the 20th and still has not been placed in the system. I have called and asked to speak with people of authority and I am told it will be 24 to 48hrs before I get a return phone call. I still have not received a phone call from anyone of authority in 2 month after I request it nearly every day. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I guess it will take me standing out side there businesses holding sign to get a call from someone who can answer questions and off help.

LoanCare misappropriations of funds in my account

To whom it may concern,

For the past several months I have been paying extra money to my account. Every time I have tried to pay more money to my principal portion, Lakeview Loan Servicing has decided to move it to another place. I have called in several times and have been on hold multiple times over 30 mins.

Currently non, Lakeview has misappropriated over $14, 000 to somewhere unauthorized. Everything should be going towards principal payment, but it is being placed elsewhere. Based on your lawsuits, google reviews, yelp reviews and BBB - THIS IS BEGINNING TO LOOK LIKE A SCAM

I'm going to contact my lawyer beginning tomorrow, unless this situation is resolved immediately.

LoanCare should be out of business

Anyone interested I have hired an attorney and will be moving forward in a class action suit. If interested please contact me. I have been calling them everyweek for 4 months waiting for a resolution on a mistake that they have made and money owed to me after the sale of my house. They are crooks and I have filed a complaint with BBB and Trade Comission as well. I was amazed to see how many complaints against them. Im going to make sure no one else gets screwed by them. Reach out to me to be included in suit against them.

Yes, please reach out to me as Loan care is the epitome of bureaucracy. We have had no resolution from this company returning our money regarding endorsing a check for home owners insurance. We have paid up front directly to contractors with all calls met with a road block and a continuous change in in their own policy, essentially the shell game. We are also seeking legal representation, .

LoanCare home loan

This month I received an escrow shortage bill from MyLoanCare. I am actually ahead of my projected escrow balance, but just by the expected payment of my tax bill, I dropped below an imaginary number that "needs" to be in my account. This is my first year in my mortgage. I called and explained that everything is going according to their projections and I am not projected to being even close to short at any point during the year due to any bills. They did not seem to care. This additional money is not something I can not afford, but ethically it seems wrong. Why not just set up my initial mortgage so that I don't fall below this imaginary number. Either they are doing it to be intentionally misleading and make my payments appear lower then they would actually be. Or they are creating rules to take as much cash from their customers, which to me is just theft, whether it's legal or not. Or they just made a numbers mistake, which would be even more frightening since numbers are the essence of their business. I would not recommend this company to anyone, because where does their lack of ethics end. Companies like this leave a bad taste in my mouth.

LoanCare mortgage satisfaction not sent!!!

On July 26th of 2019 I switched Mortgage Co. My loan with Loancare and Mid America Mortgage was paid in full. I received a letter dated August 1, 2019 stating my mortgage was paid in full and satisfaction paperwork would be sent to my local courthouse for recording. It is now November 4, 2019. No SATISFACTION! I called today and was told an investigation would be launched as to why but not until NOV. 19th. Why so long? I was told this is as fast as possible. We are already past 90 days and its illegal in my state of Ohio to go this long. My life is on hold because I look as though I have 2 mortgages. Im trying to secure other loans and cannot. I will be calling my Attorney General to see if they will indeed fine Loancare for not filing this in 90 days. If his office cannot I am looking at an attorney to help. This is wrong. I can't even choose my mortgage company once my loan is sold. Loancare is a a joke!

LoanCare mortgage

Our local bank sold our mortgage to LoanCare in May 2019, our statement is either late or we never receive one, we prefer to mail payments, our payment is due the First of the month and our statements arrive the week before or never! Have made multiple calls to customer service to complain, their response "Just mail check with your loan number on it you don't require statements ", yes I do for my records to have as proof that I paid mortgage, personally I think this is a tactic they use hoping you'll forget to make your payment so they can get late fee or foreclosure on your property, why is this company still in business? Planning to refinance just to escape this company

LoanCare my mortgage has been paid off when I sold our house, loancare thinks it’s not they are harassing me!

We sold our house May 1, 2019. Our loan which was paid off to DiTec Our original mortgage company after we sold our house may 1, 2019 . The next month June ditec was transferred to Loan Care June 2019. Loancare is insisting that they did not get all their money and has been harassing us since then. They have been adding interest and all other fees they claim they didn't get the money from the month of May. We have called numerous times we've had a lawyer call and we can't seem to resolve this I think this is a big scam it has ruined our credit. They even sent us a letter saying that we now a mortgage with them and with the new monthly payment. This is totally insane! I don't know what to do anymore because I think they are running a scam!

LoanCare worst customer service of all time.

I also like to join any class action law suit against Loan care
My loan was scheduled to transfer to loan care in July 2019. At the same time I need the lender to sign some paperwork because I was doing a lot split. The existing loan company said they can't help because my loan was scheduled to go to loan care in August, 2019. I call loancare they said they can't help because they don't have my package yet.
I ask loan care what the procedure was, what was their process to get the signature, they would not tell me. I wanted to get what ever it is that loancare needs in advance so that when August comes and they get my package I would be ready. They said they cannot give me any information ( not even their standard policy of how to handle these things) nothing can be done !
A few phones and emails later, then in August they have all my information, I asked again, they say they need to open an inquiry with the department that handles this. Also they would not let me get in touch with "that department", they would not have that department call me.
Every week the answer is "it is under review". What is there to review. Every company have a standard policy of how to handle these things. Many more phone calls, speaking with so call managers, many escalations, "we don't know what happened, you didn't speak to me last time, it wasn't me that told you ...". Absolutely nor responsibility and no accountability for any thing. 2 weeks ago a manager said "well nothing can be done unless you fill out our package of questions" 3 months later and you tell me this? ... "Well I don't know what happened, you were not dealing with me in the past ... Ok I requested that immediately email me that package. " No problem, will do".
Well, it is November now, nothing, absolutely nothing, no packaged sent to me, still under review. I need the signature to record a parcel map. How can any company make a customer wait this long in a real estate transaction.

This company need to be shut down. And shut down fast... Hundreds ( maybe thousands) of people are affected and thousands of hours are lost
Not to mention the money lost nd aggregation that is piled on top.

The only final solution is to stay as far away from loancare as possible. Refi or payoff thru any means and do it fast.

Their name needs to be amended to Loan-DON'T-care.
Too bad, in today's world, all contracts goes to the Lowest Bidder... Not necessarily the most competent.

LoanCare getting taxes paid in advance

I've been trying to get my taxes paid in advance to be able to close on a refinance but this stupid company keeps giving me the run around. Originally I was told they'd find a resolution in 2-3 days. It's not been two weeks and still they don't have an answer. First of all they should have no problem paying my taxes that are due in November when they have the money because it's included in our mortgage every single month. Secondly every time I call I get a different answer they have horrible customer service skills and are not getting anything done. Taxes are due in November and they're not wanting to pay them till whenever the hell they want. We need them paid because we're trying to close on a refinance but these people are taking their sweet time. I am definitely going to file a complaint against this company anywhere I can so people can be aware that this company sucks and is not helpful whatsoever. Stay away from this mortgage company.

LoanCare my loancare

I have received 3 notices from My Loancare stating that they have not received my monthly mortgage payment. They are charging me twice for escrow. I sent an e-mail to customersupport@myloancare.com, made my payments and sent a letter in the mail with my payment explaining the overcharge. I spoke with a representative on the phone. I continue to receive letters for overdue payment. The letter also states that they have not received a satisfactory response and my payment is in delinquent status, none of which is true.

My mortgage was originally with Ditech and it was transferred to LoanCare in June 2019. Since then, I have made all payments on time and in the amounts stated in my statements. My payments are for loan+interest and excludes escrow so the amount is fixed and relatively straight forward. However, I received a notice in October stating LoanCare had not received my October 2019 payment.

They requested I provide copy of the cancelled check front and back and also my bank statement showing the check number and amount deducted as proof of payment. I provided as requested but the imprint on the back of the check was very faint and they claim they are unable to verify payment. I contacted my bank and their supervisor joined me in a conference call with Loan Care to confirm my check for October payment was cashed by LoanCare's bank (WellsFargo) but advised the imprint on the back of the check was to faint and not legible. It was LoanCare/WellsFargo who had stamped the back of the check and if the imprint is not legible then it is their responsibility to follow up. Not mine or my bank's responsibility. CS agreed and told us it will be addressed.

When I spoke with LoanCare CS Supervisor, she explained there were numerous irregularities with my payments since June 2019 and provided me with a copy of my payment history. I was shocked to see payment amounts that were not the same as the amounts in the checks that I had written for the past 6 months. LoanCare explained that another account was paying into my account (not sure how they could happen) and they had to reconcile the account.

In short, when In compiled the total payments made to LoanCare and whats been applied to my account, there are 2 discrepancies. All I want to know from LoanCare is when my October payment which evidently is sitting in a "suspended account" will be applied to my account and what the correct amount I need to pay for my December payment, excluding late fees. It should be relatively simple but again, LoanCare is unable to address this for the past 34 days even after my sending 4 emails to a Supervisor (no reply) and 14 calls into their CS, Payment Research, and Loan Mitigation Departments. Each time I speak with a Supervisor, I have to explain all the details and they confirm they see where the problem is and it will be resoled in 3-5 days but when I call back in 3-5 days, I repeat the same history again and they tell me it will be addressed in 3-5 days but after all this time, I have lost confidence in LoanCare to correct the error they made.

I was given "Escalation Ticket #" as reference so I can check on status of the correction and I called again tonight but after being on hold for a "Supervisor" for 40 minutes, my call was disconnected. I called again and spoke with another Supervisor and she put me on hold again so she could research the matter and after 28 minutes of holding, the line was disconnected. What else can I do? My December payment is due and I still do not have the a statement with the correct amount from LoanCare. Meanwhile I have been receiving default payment letters and even had to collect a registered letter at the post office for a payment demand letter from LoanCare and possible actions for foreclosure if I do not pay the delinquent October payment. What can I do? So frustrated!

LoanCare house paid off

We sent our payoff priority mail. It was delivered Oct - 15-2019. I've made several calls and always told something different. A manager told me to wait a few weeks and not to worry about it. Well I went to the bank. They traced it immediately and said loancare cashed it Oct - 15-2019. So I'm sending the copy front and back. I'm hopeful I'll get my deed and escrow. This place is crazy. They took our loan over may 2019 and never received out first two payments. We were not able to pay off over the phone. What a nightmare.. It was priority mail. LoanCare misappropriating my escrow payment! lying, dishonest, corrupt company!!

Loancare advanced my property tax payment for 4, 145.50 and I reimbursed the exact amount on 9/27 to be credited into my escrow acct. The agent that took my pymt by ph assured me she would apply the whole pymt into my escrow to reflect the balance paid. She did not! Now loancare has raised my mortgage by 1500 dollars showing a balance of 4146.50 unpaid and attached a 6200 escrow balance owed for 2 yrs in advance! Since 9/27 I have spoken to 1 agent a wk and they all say they will reverse my pymt into escrow where it was originally intended and they do not! They just keep pushing me up to the next wk, and now I have a pymt showing I owe 3, 249.00 a mo.! Each agent assured me the adjustment would be made reflecting 4, 145.50 credited to my escrow, thus lowing my balance, and they have not! I just keep getting nowhere with them! I've never in my 25 yrs of mortgage have ever had such an unprofessional, dishonest, mortgage company! Loancare is a corrupt system!

LoanCare mortgage servicing

Over the past year and a half I've had multiple payments applied incorrectly resulting in multiple late fees and multiple derogatory marks on my credit report. I've made countless calls and have spoken to a multitude of representatives that have ultimately passed me off and haven't fixed any of the errors. I've created multiple tickets/tasks for review and correction on my file, however I never hear back So then I call in and they "completed" the task but didn't actually make the corrections.

It has also been humiliating to get multiple phone calls from the collection area. When I try to dial into customer service I get immediately re-routed to the collections area so I have no choice but to wait through the process of verification for collections.

Customer service is a hit or miss. Some reps are friendly but most are not.

I would really like to refinance this loan, however I can't even start that process with all the negative remarks currently on my credit report. I can currently save about 1.5% in my rate which would amount to hundreds of dollars each month. Loancare is single handedly holding me back from being able to do this.

I'm currently considering legal action against loan care with regard to erroneous late fees that have not been refunded as well as providing false information to credit bureaus.
