Live Auctioneers review: Embassy auctions unethical practice stealing gold

Submitted gold antique jewlery online in June 13 2024 am and received a call from Embassy auctions owner Lee. Told me to come to buisness and could get more money for my jewlery them an online sale. Unaware of anything the next thing I knew was he was weighing my gold not in front of me and in dwt not the grams I had, he said he would go around to his peers to sell the following day and get them sold as they were passé. One was a vintage charm bracelet about 70 gms of 24k gold and a brochure of 18k gold with pearls weighing 26 grams along with a26 gram antique bracelet. He failed to tell me gold price that day and further ripped me off of my inherited gold. I received $4413.00 didn’t even get gold melt price. I knowing I was clueless at the time distracted by his chit chat and “:good guy” fables I signed an immediate sale contract leaving me unable to hold him accountable I now realize. I’ve tried to forget and know I’m at fault , but auctioneers don’t work this way. How is live auctioneers allowing people unethical con artists to conduct practices like this? I want to hear from live auctioneers and want this man removed from doing other unethical ways to con unknowing people like myself taking full advantage of. He mentioned he had problems with them already and I’m hoping this will impact his livelihood as mine . Of course when I reached out about this a few days later he made it seem he was doing me a favor- I never once said to him I was in financial distress until after he mailed my check, he didn’t need to know my buisness. I never replied as he was lying and he screwed me as to take him and have him held accountable by signing deal.as much as my fault for just trusting this man does he not have a license to perform buisness in an ethical way. I’m notifying the board that holds his licensees as well.
