Les Schwab Tire Center - brand new tires mounted destroyed in less than 40 miles of driving

We brought 4 brand new trailer tires to Enumclaw Les Schwab Tire for mounting. One of the original trailer tires on the right side had a slice in the side wall. Since Les Schwab was going to charge $35 per tire we opted to mount just 2 of the tires on the right side and change the other side when we go back home in Bellingham(133 mile trip). We made it 22 miles before both tires blew out.
Although the brand new tires were 225/75- 15's and the old tires were 225/75-15's, the tehnician mounting these new tires failed to notice that new tires were dimensionally larger then the old tires and also failed to notice or mention the tires were rubbing on the trailer fenders.
With two blown tires on one side of the trailer we were forced to unload the trailer, call in AAA (which took 2 1/2 hours to show) and have them tow the vehicle home that was loaded on the trailer. We then had to drag the trailer off the freeway to a nearby U Haul, who was more than happy to let us park the derelict trailer in a safe spot overnight until we could drive back down the 111 miles to the trailer with Xtra wheels and tires to drag it home.

Enumclaw Les Schwab has only agreed to reimburse the $70 tire mounting fee. They will not take responsibility for the damaged tires or the additional tow and gas fees, let alone the damage to the trailer rims.

I used to be a regular customer at Les Schwab but since the old man passed on business is not the same. I will make sure, moving forward, to do everything I can to pass the word that Les Schwab can no longer be trusted
