Legit.co.za Handbag

I purchased a handbag more or less 2 - 3 months ago. The bag is black with gold trimmings. First the one handle kept unhooking and now the zipper broke off completely.

I went to the store to return it but they told me that i have to have my till slip. I dont keep till slips for so long and no one would expect to pay R300 for a bag that is just going to fall apart.

Legit.co.za Bad customer service with rude consultant with an attitude

I wanted a grey denim, as I was busy looking for size 14, a consultant started asking me about the size am looking for. I didn't like her approach, she looked annoyed as she was asking. I was packing even nicely their flat packs of Jeans. She then came to me with this attitude that I don't have a size where am looking and the are stickers with numbers.. she didn't even help me, she kept on saying you don't hear me. I then said to her why don't you help me then instead of you question me like I came to the store to mess up. She was rude, I didn't like what she did, I am not happy.. she just came from nowhere to attack me. legit klipfontein, highland mews Witbank. This happened before 1pm today

I bought a pants and shirt on the 3rd of February had the outfit on for a hour and it's puking apart the quality is poor this is madness really I paid R500 for the outfit for this nonsense can someone please call me to sort this out I'm really not happy after many years of not buying from you when I decided to buy something this is the [censored] I get I'm pissed really

Legit.co.za Shoes

We were charged R1799.00 instead R149 and when we got to branch at Lakeside Legit. The manager was soo rude to us, she made us wait for an hour so that we get our money. She was very arrogant telling us.She didn’t even apologise for the mistake caused. I don’t even know how she became a manager but definitely shows that she knows nothing about customer service.

Today I was at Maponya Mall so as I was browsing through the wallets I saw one marked R29.99. Got excited and took it when I got to the tills to pay the cashier removed the sticker and said it's not the correct price, the correct one is R59.99. I told her I didn't see any like that. We went there check and the codes were inside the wallets because the one I got was outside. She said she can't give me coz it's customers who switch stickers and I was surprised. I told her that's not my problem. Two of the colleagues asked what happened and they told her that I must get with that price. When the supervisor or whatever came, she also didn't wanna give me with that price bust telling me with company policy which is not even put on notice board.

Desired outcome: I need them to sell it to me for that price I saw. And also know the policy that the customer is always right.

I was walking past legit yesterday in mall of Africa and I saw their red and black Lingerie. It looked so beautiful. I bought the corset bra for R169.99 and thong R79.99 The corset bra quality 🙆🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️ hai guys stop playing with us. There’s zero support like nothing. And it’s the right size so that not the case of buying a bigger size. I regret buying this.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate my money back. I won’t be wearing this bra.

Legit.co.za Pathetic customer service

On the date 19-01-2023 I requested for a clothing item exchange in the morning and the first lady behind the till told me that the lady who authorizes the item exchange went to the bank I must wait for her to return, because I was also late for work I then told her I will return during my lunch break, when I returned the store was closed due to loadshedding (no notice at the door) its ok I understood it was out of their control, after work I returned to exchange my item, firstly I was received with an unfriendly attitude, they all dragged their feet before for assisting me, finally when the sales assistant for privacy purpose I will not expose her name under receipt number [protected] without greeting me told me to unfold the garment, otherwise she will not exchange, I kept quiet and they were giggling with the authorizing lady, it is happening for the 3rd time in legit kabokweni complex and I feel we are paying for these items we are buying, and even though there are options we still choose legit but due to poor client service we end up not feeling welcome and unable to shop comfortably hence I opt for ilanga mall legit store as they are more friendly. I feel terrible for the other clients who are not able to speak up for themselves who experience such treatment

I bought4 dresses on the 24th of December 2022
Only to find out when I get home that one of the dress has damage on it
Then I returned it to the store legit east rand mall
Firstly I received a very bad attitude from the store manager and she even refused to exchange the dress for me, I left the dress by the store because I can not wear a dress that has damage on it
I want nothing to do with legit and their bad service

Legit.co.za Pink block shoes

Good afternoon

I have bought a pair of shoe at Legit Kollonade around the 29th August 2022. I have worn the shoe only twice and the heel broke. I went to the store on the 20th December 2022 and I was told to bring the receipt if I don't they are unable to assist me. The shoe was bought by laybye, I asked the manager to check for me on their system to trace the receipt and she said I am the one who has a problem so in order to be assisted I have to provide proof of purchase or a bank statement.

How do I go about this matter?

Hi am Lwandy from Kirkwood I bought a pair of shoe in Legit store in Uitehnage and I wear the shoe yerstaday went to town to so the shopping and my shoe just broke. Since I was already in town I went to legit store to complain about this shoe and the cashier called one of the managers, she was an afrikaans lady. She told that I lied, I didnt were the shoe only that day and there is nothing they can do.

Good day, I would like to file a complaint on the horrible & poor service I received from the manager of the Legit Mall of Africa branch today. I went to the store around 13:25 to go and exchange a pair of heels which I received as a birthday gift that did not fit, bare in mind I went the the previous day and told them that I would like to do an exchange but I don't have a slip and they told me as long as the shoes are in good condition I'm welcome to, hence my visit today. I proceeded to go to the till and told them I came in yesterday, they looked at the shoes and punched in something on the system and told me I am welcomed to take anything for R200 as the original price got marked down, I looked around the store and found my items that I wanted to exchange and went to the counter. The manager was standing behind POS and I told her these are the items I would like to get as an exchange. She punched in something on the system and asks where is my slip/tag, I told her that I had spoken to them yesterday and when I walked in and nobody had an issue, she then says we don't do exchanges without a slip or tag. I told her it was a birthday gift and I don't have such, she says she can't help and dismisses and ignores me and proceeded to ask for the next customer. The other sales assistant then spoke in vernacular language which I understood and said maybe she can search another store to get the tag and the manager mumbled back. She proceeded to tell me that the only place I can go to is Pretoria cbd. I stay in Midrand so I can't. I was completely ignored by the manager as if I was a piece of [censored] or a dog. Her service is absolutely disgusting! I work in customer service, and that was nowhere near 2 star customer service, I am highly disappointed and upset, what do I do with shoes that don't fit

Desired outcome: I would like my shoes to be exchanged with/without a slip or tag. It was a gift and that shouldn't matter, I would like to get what I want

Legit.co.za Refund

Legit Protea Glen is happy to accept cash and will make it difficult for a customer to get a refund... I have two layby's and I went to the store to cancel them but I am told to give the original slip in order to get my money and I do have the original slip and then they said they want the first slip cause it has my details on it. WTF! The slip I have is an original slip, it's not a copy and it has my details on it, they don't even want an ID. Instead, the manager said I should take items from the store that make up my layby money. WTF! I am forced to buy something cause I don't have the initial slip and I was told that I will not get a slip of the items that I will choose! Funny thing is I don't experience this with other Legit stores, it is only Protea Glen. They want to reach the monthly target by tricking us!

Legit.co.za Misleading Advetisement

On the 11th December 2022 I visited Legit Centurion. I bought panties that had been tagged “ Take 2 deal” upon arriving at the till to pay I was told that the deal was no longer there yet the panties still has the tags . When I asked them why that was they rudely told me that the tags are supposed to remain even after the deal has expired,

To me that sounded like misleading advertising, they later told me to to to contact the complaints department if I was unhappy about this. The service there is appaling and unacceptable please sort this out I even have pictures of this

Legit.co.za Humiliation of employees

I am writing today to lodge a complain the humiliation I witnessed on December 09 2022 around 14:03 at Legit Mams Mall.

As a concerned customer what I witnessed was disturbing and caught other customers attention. The customer was acting irrational and shouting at the cashier and other staff members over a hanger. It is very upsetting to see employees being treated in such a manner yet they give us good customer service.

What upset me the most is that, the cashier she was busy shouting at Shes heavily pregnant. She called for a Manager,but when the manager came and ask what was happening and tried to calm the situation,but she attacked her and she even took them video without their concern. They even tried to apologize but she said she wants to show them who she is. I think she's not mentally stable.

I have been a regular customer of your business and the reason why I always shop there is because of their service, their Friendlyness.

My Concern is that what do you guys do to protect your employees against bully customers as she also got the audacity to say she can say whatever she wants to say cause customer is always right.

Legit.co.za Tags not removed from underwear - Legit Menlyn

Saturday 03 December 2022 I bought a pair of both panties & bras, as I had a function where I needed to wear a specific colour because of the outfit I was going to wear on Sunday the 04 November 2022.

On Sunday while trying to get ready I realised that I could not wear the underwear I bought from you guys because both pairs were tagged. This was very disappointing as now this was ruining my outfit. I had to make means & find something else to cover with as now my underwear was a different colour from the outfit. Day ruined 😠.

This morning I went back to the store (Menlyn Legit store) hoping for an exchange as I really didn’t need the underwear anymore (it surely was bought because I needed that Color then). Found a top that I liked & decided to exchange rather than to refund. I was told that I cannot be assisted. Now this is absurd, surely I ain’t no superhuman so I couldn’t have worn a 2 pack underwear with security tags on🙄 (tagged together to make it worse).

I am really not happy about this, I cannot be held liable for another persons mistake. It is not my responsibility to look for security tags. I am really disappointed with the service.

Good day

I would like to lay a complaint in regards a poor service received from legit store in cape town canal walk.

On the 23 november 2022, I went to one of the legit store to pay out my lay bye. The amount I was suppose to pay was r250, so now I gave a cashier a r300 which she suppose to give a change of r50. So I realised when I got home that the cashier did not give the change, so I went back to the store and spoke with the manager which she confirmed that she can not do anything on this matter as it not their fault that I forgot the money from the cashier and they can not do anything about it.

Can you please assist in this regard.

I went for an exchange of items I bought via laybye in promenade store but since I was going in canl walk I thought why not exchange there.

I was told I could only do an exchange no refund of which I was okay with that

The problem I noticed only when I got home because I could never even in my wildest dream think of what they did to me, so the I tems I went to exchange in total were 7 and by me calculating they summed up to R1140. I selected the items I was going to exchange with only to realise then the items scanned for exchange are 5 and the sum up of the items we exchanged with are R750 not even close to the amount we were suppose to exchange with

To me it was so shocking that I reputed store like Legit in a busy place like canal Walk they scam customers

I fell victim because I couldn't have even in my wildest dream think of something like that about people assisting customers all day

If they did this to me how many other people they are doing it to?

Legit.co.za Legit Paarl complaint about employee

Good evening

I hope I find you in good health.

I visited the Legit store in Paarl with my 4year old daughter to go shopoing for summer sandals. As I was standing there waiting for assistance, my daughter vomitted. A store employee came to me and said she will bring a mop and I must clean it up.

I had no problem cleaning up the floor but when I was done, she came to me and said I have to dry up the mop before I leave the store.

I politely told her that I had the decency to agree to clean up my daughters accident but I am not the cleaner of the store and I left.

My problem with this was her attitude. No clue of customer service, didnt even offer to let me wash my hands or offer toiletpaper to wipe my daughter off.

This is completely unacceptable and I was very dissapointed. As a loyal customer of the Legit group for many years, I expect better treatment than this. Those employees have no clue how to treat customers.

Desired outcome: I would like the employee to be warned about her behaviour and to receive training regarding how to be act professional, sympathetic and appropriate towards customers.

On Monday 24th of Oct 12:11hrs was at Legit in Hilbrow and I purchased an ankle grazer skinny of which it has a price tag of r179 but l was charged r189... When l asked the cashier abt the price difference he told me that the price has gone up and it wasn't a big deal coz it was jus r10... I felt belittled and was so embarrassed. We went to Legit at Saveway senter Witbank on 16 October 2022 round about 10:45.. We were looking for a dress for my daughter.. She found two white dresses.. When she went to fit the assistant told her she can not fit the dresses because they are white she is going to dirty them.. I ask her how are we to purchase the dresses if we can't fit them to see if is going to be here size.. The assistant just said something off customers that dirty white dresses.. And then don't buy it... And she then lifted here shoulder and said she does not now how we are going to buy the dress.. If we cant fit..

Please do something about the legit store in Giyani Masingita Mall,the service is absurd my colegue received similar bad service and I just thought she was the one wrong up until I experienced bad service from the manager ,she was so rude after I wanted to return a few items before transacting she asked me why didn’t I take out a calculator and calculate to see that the items are expensive as she didn’t want to override,Why you still have a manager in that store I don’t know but it’s bad for your reputation as I’m a regular customer
