About 2 1/2 years ago, we got this apartment from LeFever Mattson Property Management. Gotta say, it wasn't in the best shape. We pointed out some issues during the walk-through, like a leaky ceiling, a broken door, and a messed-up carpet. They said they would fix it all when we moved out, and they even marked it down. The maintenance guy was supposed to do the walk-through three times, but he straight up refused. We had three witnesses who saw him say no. Plus, I got people who can vouch for the fact that they promised not to charge us for the carpet since we lived with it for so long. But now, they're saying we messed it up and won't give us back our overpaid rent of $400 or our $200 deposit. It's a real mess.
