Although the houses may appear attractive at first sight due to their paint jobs, there are numerous maintenance issues that become apparent upon closer inspection. These issues range from a dirty house and unclean air vents/filters upon moving in, to missing keys for the garage door and broken front steps. Additionally, there are non-functioning appliances and child safety hazards that further contribute to the list of problems. When attempting to contact the representatives regarding these issues, their responses are often short and rude, with no intention of getting back to you. Furthermore, maintenance orders can only be submitted online through their portal, which is not compatible with iPhones and opens multiple pages like a virus. Without a doubt, this is the worst company we have rented from in our 9 years of moving around as a military family.

On March 22, 2022, I provided Ammt with a cashier's check for $1800 in order to reserve the home for 30 days. This decision was influenced by one of the workers, whose name I cannot recall, informing me that another individual was interested in making a down payment, and that the property would be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. However, I ultimately decided against renting the home and requested a refund. Initially, I was informed that a refund was not possible, and that they needed to contact the account. Subsequently, I visited their office to discuss the matter further, and was informed that the decision to refund the money ultimately rested with the owner of the home. Furthermore, if a refund were to be granted, it might be prorated. I did not find any mention of the withholding of my money or the inability to obtain a refund in the contract that I had signed. Additionally, the email I received from them stated that the purpose of the payment was to secure the home and prevent it from being taken by someone else. However, there was still a tenant residing in the property when I visited, and there were visible signs of water damage, suggesting a potential leak. Overall, I have found the communication from the company to be lacking.
