We were not under contract with the Proper-T Management company at the time because the lease agreement, when it had expired, was never redone for the next year term (asked 2 months prior for lease renewal agreement). We gave proper notice to the management company that my husband's company would be moving us from Clermont, FL to Tifton, GA, and we had a month to be there (Jan 1, 2022). We cleaned the property, and both of our nosy neighbors (from each side that I can provide you with name and phone numbers) came in to look at the house after it was cleaned. The house was rented a week after we left the property, and we asked about our deposit of $1700 to be refunded as we left the place clean along with ceiling fans that we installed, a refrigerator that we bought, a new faucet and toilet seat, along with a fence that we built for the dogs. We have reached out several times via phone calls and text messages with no communications back (still have them) as to why we didn't receive anything back. I would like an explanation of why we didn't get a cent back along with the monetary value for the upgrades that we left, if not some or all of our deposit back. Proof can be provided on attempted communications if need be (also on husband's phone that is not with me currently).
