To whom this may concern,
I am writing to file a complaint regarding my experience at the Labcorp Patient Service Center located in Walgreens in Kingston, PA, on 7/24/2026.
When I arrived,I checked in and entered the blood draw area.As I walked in, I observed a young female employee, dressed in black, standing by the mirror inside the patient care area applying makeup. There was another employee whom I am familiar with checking the computer to see what labs needed to be drawn.
After I sat down the employee at the computer had not yet determined which lab test I needed. Despite this, the other employee(in all black) never introduced herself or nothing approached me with a tourniquet in hand and asked her colleague "what needs to be done". The oeployee responded, "I am not sure yet". At this point the tourniquet is on my arm.
I informed the employee (dressed in black) that my veins are tiny so can we please use my left arm instead of my right arm to which she gave an audible sigh as if I had ruined her day.l I then asked if a butterfly can be used instead of a straight needle(I'm a nurse and a phlebotomist for 20 years) she then says " this needle here is small enough".
She then looked at her coworker and said you wanna draw this., Her tone and demeanor again made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a patient deserving respectful care.
So personal grooming in the patient area, on her phone, and obviously not having a good day or maybe that's just her personality. Nonetheless it lacked professionalism.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I would appreciate confirmation that my concerns have been received and reviewed.

Desired outcome: Just acknowledgement and maybe if that employee whom I wish I had a name on could be reprimanded appropriately.
