We rented a deluxe cabin at san angelo tx campground for our family members, as well as a rv site for ourselves. The cabin was not cheap - over $250/night with a 2 night minimum.
The air conditioner in the unit did not cool, even though it was turned on and the fan worked. The family members suffered that night and did not mention it to us until the morning.
When we told the office the next morning, they replied that the people in the cabin should have contacted the after hours number, located in their pamphlet. I told her they had not received a pamphlet since they came in after hours. She mentioned the after hours number was in the big book located in one of the drawers and refused to do anything about it. She basically said it was their fault for not contacting the office.
When we mentioned an extra $150 had been added to our bill for the cabin for incrementals, she replied it would be returned to us after the cabin had been emptied and seemed in order. Why it is referred to as an "incremental" instead of a deposit seems as if they would like to incremental the bill for us.
Will not stay at this koa ever again even though I have family members in town.
Desired outcome: Management to improve customer service skills
