We reserved and stayed at Albuquerque, NM and Amarillo, TX BECAUSE the websites states that thewy have pools. Although possibly "technically true" both are closed! It is 98 degrees in Amarillo, about the same in Albuquerque. Amarillo desk clerk told us that their pool was closed because it needed to be cleaned and they didn't want to clean it so it just remains closed. WTF?!?!?! The pool is the ONLY reason we chose to stay at both locations. We are DONE with KOA! We will NOT be staying at a KOA in the future.
Claimed loss: 3 night's stay for pools that are never open
Desired outcome: Either remove the pools from your websites or maintain them and keep them open
