I ordered food for delivery. When the food arrived, the actual food to eat was not just cold it was stone cold. It had to be put through the microwave to make it edible. We don't actually live that far from the food source so receiving food like this is unacceptable.
The food bag the food came in was soaked at the bottom to such an extent that the bottom of the bag was at risk of just ripping. The drink ordered was now not the full drink I had paid for and it had spilt over ice cream also ordered. I contacted Just Eat through the app to make them aware of my experience and this is certainly not the first time I have had such an experience.
I then received the standard corporate response:
Thank you for contacting us about your recent order *****8910. We're sorry to hear you didn't have the great experience we wanted for you.
We've looked into everything in detail to see what we can do. On this occasion, we're unable to offer a refund or compensation based on all the information we have.
We appreciate your understanding.
Thanks again for getting in touch with us.
Just Eat
I went back and submitted a photo clearly showing the drink spilt in the bottom of the bag.
I then received the following response from Just Eat.
Thanks for getting in touch with Just Eat. I'm sorry there was an issue with your recent order *****8910.
I've checked your Just Eat account, including your order history. Based on this review, we've had to decline your refund request in this instance. I know this may not be the outcome you were looking for and appreciate your understanding.

So yet again Just Eat shows themselves exactly for who they are in terms of customer service. They are appalling. You enter into a contract as they accept your order and take your money, they deliver not what you ordered in the form you expected it to be and you are made to feel like some kind of inconvenience or nuisance for raising this point even though it is your money that has paid for this.
Will Just Eat ever learn...
