have been with JGW since July 2022 - just settled last account which was in litigation for 2 years. I frequently contacted both JGW and the law firm for updates - nothing was done for 2 years -civil suit filed April 2024- finally settled today and they took over $400 in fees for doing nothing. I understand there are fees associated with negotiating debt settlements- but takin 75% of the amount the account was settled for is highway robbery!

My account had a balance of over $550 after the settlement was negotiated and now I am getting a refund of only $121 since the robbers took $409 for fees. Then they wanted me to wait until I received my program graduation until refunding me my money- I pushed and said absolutely not - now getting it in next 3-5 business days.

this company needs to be investigated by the State Attorney Generals office for ripping off people
