I was at this Jewel Osco on 7/22/26. This is likely the very worst Jewel Osco store – to be sure. As I walked through the store, every single item from the sale… Was out of stock. An employee told me this was a common thing – kind of a tactic – every single week he said that all of the sale items are either not available or there are very few. Sincerely, this is a filthy store. And you can look for yourself. Under the produce counter, closest to the Starbucks on the west/Northwest end of the produce area, was a bunch of dirty rags underneath where the produce was. It was nauseating. The floors are dirty. There is grunge in the bins example being: where the green grapes are. People comment that it is gross. By far this is the very worst Jewel Osco. I observed supervisors and managers who are just downright surly. Honestly, it's a grocery store. Their behavior is unacceptable and outright entitled and narcissistic and out of line. There are a couple of lovely employees. The woman at the customer service desk was beautifully wonderful… As I stood in line to get my refund for being overcharged at the cashier station. Every single time I've been in there I've been either overcharged or double charged or something. Going to the store is an active frustration. Things – you wonder – they don't look sanitary. Check for yourself. I'm just stating the facts. I wish it were not true. However, it is true. Absolutely true. I make a point of not going here. But I did. As they say: "... same old ship of fools..." And save yourself the trouble. Go to the Jewel Osco near 159th and La Grange Rd. They actually have things in stock. It's clean. Not filthy
Recommendation: Go to any other grocery store
