interlock device
Nobody is helping at this company with my issues, certainly not the auto shops that install these devices
The interlock they installed is causing the following issues
-Car alarm going off at random
-Battery drains constantly and like today and other days I can't go to work until I get my battery charged or jump started. (battery is fine, car worked fine before having this device)
-the device has put me into two lockouts which I had to pay to have reset. 80 dollars each time.
I told them this and they said the vehicle/device would have to be inspected.
I had to pay for the inspection and take a day off from work. Only if the device came back faulty after the inspection would I be reimbursed for the device. And of course it did not come back faulty so I won't be reimbursed and now here I am again.
Desired outcome: I want this device out of my vehicle ASAP. 24 month lease I signed to be canceled.
Do their job
After having the device installed. I've had a issue to where they refunded me my money. Now that I will not change my review for them. After receiving about 5-7 seven calls from them to change my review. They still have yet to send my el21sc form over and it's been 14 business days so I am continuing to be charged for this device. The automated system is a nightmare to deal with! In my opinion this is one of the biggest scam in the world. I mean come on, who in there right mind would leave a review saying this was a great experience? All the reviews are made up!

1.) had device calibrated 1 week prior to 4th of july. Getting ready to leave town for the 4th, device shows past calibration, vehicle will not start. Weekend ruined. Device was faulty, and I was charged $85 lockout fee!
2.) also, device does random testing while driving... What the hell! I was on the 91 freeway in california in traffic, when it started to beep for me to blow in it. This is as dangerous as driving and texting and should be illegal, I almost hit the person in front of me. Because I don't know if the car will shut off or not if I don't blow into this.
(a) if anyone is reading this and it caused an accident like mine almost did, then this should be taking to the higher powers at be.
3.) got court order to remove device, made 2 appointments online, went to appointment and shop had no work order to remove it. Made a 3rd appointment, and this time prior to driving out there again, I called intoxalock to make sure the work order was provided to the shop! On hold for almost half the morning, getting switched from department to department and nobody can give me the a yes or no.

Intoxalock device
I have had this device in my car since February 2021 it is July 2023. I just did my final calibration and when I call the dmv and asked when I was eligible for removal they told me September 2025! That is ridiculous I was supposed to be finish this month this is my 3rd car that I’ve had my device installed and they keep extending it I didn’t blow any violations or get any lock outs it is wrong what they are doing whenever I try to get help they keep passing the ball. Nobody is in charge but the are taking my money and time . They are the real criminal those Indian scammers. I plead out for 1 year with the device not 5 all the do is lie and pass the blame and take your money. I have my hands tied I can’t just remove it cause I’ll go to jail for driving with restricted. Nobody cares the department of homeland security and driver license services is a joke they just need to defund them they sit on their fat [censored] and not even answer the phone. I’m sick of it would someone please help me this isn’t right. It’s a violation of my constitutional rights as an American citizen. Do not! Do not use intoxalock they are scammers ! It is the worst service ever !
Intoxalock
I had a device installed last Thursday. By Saturday (of the same week) the device is no longer operational. I passed multiple tests and after showing a BAC of 0.00, the device shut off and I have not been able to start my car. Additionally, I was getting messages that I had a past due balance (on that same day), the app showed a past doe of $0.00 (yes, that means the past die amount that was causing me to be unable to go further in the app was $0. I have called intoxalock no fewer than 7 times and have gotten different responses each time. I now have to have my car towed because after the last call they sent a lockout code (even though I have consistently passed). I am set to be charged at least $75, on top of a $65 charge that was undisclosed. Based on this experience I am extremely worried that this device may create a dangerous circumstance, leaving me stranded as I live alone.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement for charges related to towing and additional service.A device that works appropriately and does not cause greater potential harm.

April started having issues with truck. Your people said our battery was showing 7%. We bought a new one $100. Didn't fix the problem. We were told a relay switch $13.94.Didn't fix the problem. We were the starter. Bought one $149.07 labor to install $88.54. Didn't fix the problem. Truck towed several times. Towed to Parson's Pataskala, OH found the problem was Intoxalock's faulty equipment. Was told in May by YOUR employees we would be reimbursed for all since your equipment was the issue. New equipment was faulty too. We were told to pay for labor and we would be immediately reimbursed Since May I have gone through hell with every one not following through on their word. I've e-mailed, faxed 35 times information. Thought on 7/10 finally getting somewhere. Was told the check was processed, I would receive it 5 to 7 days. Called Thursday the 7/13 was told I would have it 7/15. Never came. Called find out it has not even been processed! I've asked numerous times for a call never happens. I've worked customer service for a major worldwide comp. What a horrible experience. Middle of June I talked with Sara White. While on the phone e-mailed the receipts. She said she needed to talk to Parson's. They were on vacation till the 6/20. I called them twice they did not received a call Got hold of Sara been off work a week. She acted clueless what I was saying have spent $581.07 for parts/labor for your faulty equipment. John at Parson's reported this. I was told labor would be reimbursed immediately. I paid $229.52 circled on the invoice the credit card fee charge added in. Was told only $221 this is wrong!

This company is a nightmare
I was required to install this device in order to get my license 7 years after my DUI. I haven't touched alcohol for 7 years. Of course the Govt needs ways to keep making money on you.
I have had nothing but problems with this company and the devices. I have had countless lock outs from the device glitching and it required me to pay $75 fees and take time out of my day to reset them. I have had to tow my truck and cover the cost because of the device failures. I complained and they never had my device checked out because (guilty until proven innocent). Now Im locked out of my truck for 6 days because their system failed and Im required to cover the cost of the re-install and my own rental! They have horrible customer service and all of their customer service is in India. I have no way to file a complaint or resolve any of this. Another thing, this device requires breath samples every 5 to 45 min while operating which is dangerous and a distraction on the road. There have been people who have passed out and ran into oncoming traffic and died because of the amt of air it requires... it caused a minor accident in my case. And Im a fit dude. Stay away at all costs I want this company to go under so bad.

Interlock ignition device
Worst experience i've ever had with any company. Constant unfounded violations until finally a year in someone figured out my device was installed completely wrong and I had paid thousands of dollars of lock out fees. Issuing rolling retests after count down is over and car has been off for 10 minutes. They have refused to transfer me to higher ups or supervisors, hung up on me and transferred me to a voicemail that never gets returned over and over again until I wrote a negative review on trust pilot and all of a sudden they want to try to resolve my problem (but haven't still)

Harassment phone calls
Intoxalock calls my phone # every hour starting at 7: 20 a.m. every hour after that it calls on the 20. 8:20 9:20 10:20 and so on. Has filled my voicemail so full I can no longer receive messages. I have called customer service and have given them my REAL ID OKLAHOMA DRIVER LICENSE. I still am being harassed. Told to ignore calls. It takes 24 hours . Next day it starts at 7:20 am and repeats on the 20. I can not get NOBODY TO FIX THIS.
Company lawsuit
This companies customer service is horrible, their employees are obviously remote and must be working in another country because their accent is always heavy, but they'll say their name is Mike or John or Mary, generic names. They will tell you they'll remove lockout fees that obviously have something to do with their faulty devices and they never do. I have had 4 unauthorized lockout fees for no apparent reason, one of them I was driving and got a notification about a unauthorized start lockout on my phone. I called them up right away, they even confirmed that the vehicle was already ignited and said the charge would be removed but it never was. I just wish we could file a lawsuit against this scam of a company and atleast help some of their victims get some type of money back.
Rude staff all the way to the top, Watch your bills
Spoke with Kathy (5694) regarding lock out charge. She could not verbalize any reason for a lock out besides a date which also changed twice. I explained I was not locked out and I drove to the service center for calibration and she began laughing at me and thought it was very funny until I told her that was extremely rude. Kathy transfered me to her boss who was not reasonable and undereducated on his own company protocol. I was also told he was going to wave the charge but now he wasnt because i spoke over him. My lock out was unknowingly because i exited my car went into a store came out 5 minutes later I drove home not knowing anything happened. I will take this to social media and put the whole conversation out there for the publics opinion and speak freely in AA meetings and group how bad of an experience I had with intoxalock. I am finished next month anyways but would rather spend my time doing other things than worrying if other people will be treated like I was today.
Desired outcome: Warn other people of this potential problem. Educate the two employees on customer service threating and poking fun and laughing at a paying customer isnt cool. Refund lock out charge no ill intentions.
Intoxalock device
I was reached out to by Intoxalock after a dui in January, they said I would need this device In order to drive after getting said dui. I paid $294.74 to install the Intoxalock device after multiple emails, letters and calls insisting that I need this device in order drive after my dui. I talked with one of their representatives and they offered the intoxalock device it saying they would notify the dmv and court and get me set up for an installation. I accepted under the impression I would be able to drive. Then on April 4, 2023 the date of the installment I was asked to sign a contract with my last name spelt wrong, and with no end date, so I began to question and didn’t sign it. Without the contracted being signed they take $48 every 2 weeks, and have now charged me $50-100 for “services” which have never been provided. After not signing the contract I called the Department of Motor Vehicles asking for information, they me informed that I was not able to drive, and that my license has been revoked for 2 years. That I cannot drive with Intoxalock device and that infact I cannot drive at all under no circumstance.
Desired outcome: Removal of the device and refund.

Process on which you switch vehicles and have the interlock taken out of one and put in a new vehicle
My son got a new vehicle took interlock out of old and in new however cannot register despite multiple attempts calling interlock customer service his vehicle sits at interlock unregistered with new interlock in it and cannot use! It is a work truck needs to do his job and us getting nothing but the runaround from interlock k customer service! Never seen anything like this! Think time to go on social media and let everyone know this company it is no good! Choose anouther!
Desired outcome: To get the electronic clearance sent to spfld DMV so he can finally register it’ never mind paying insurance and a truck payment! Truly unbelievable!!!!!!!!!
Intoxalock wont honer my completion and extended me for 3 months 2 times due to their errors
I had 6 months to serve on interlock and it talks a lot had me down for January 29th to be completed and they scheduled me for February 2nd to have it removed and I received a letter from the state a week later saying they were suspending my license because I had my device removed too soon when all I was doing is what it talks a lot told me to do and I had to have $135 to have it removed plus they're $70 final calibration fee and then after the state letter I had to have $135 to reinstall it and to start a new membership due to their mistake and plus the state of Missouri punished me to an additional 3 months over this error and which I finished I had spoken with a representative and they said I had completed my term and they were sending out my certificate of completion the following day and I was in good standing to find the next day and email stating that I had a violation and they were again punishing me to an extra 3 months on top of the one that I had just served due to their mistake in the first place I have done nothing but what I was told to do and I am stuck in this circle and it's to me seems money it's all about the money with them they don't care about you or your life or that your struggle they know that you have to do it and they keep you stuck doing it in every way they possibly can and it is not fair and it is not right and it should not be tolerated nobody should have to go through this especially if they're doing what they were supposed to I acknowledge that I made a mistake when I got my DUI and that is what this is supposed to be about my punishment or acknowledging my mistake why doesn't that have to be the case when they're the ones that make the mistake shouldn't they acknowledge it shouldn't they honor it and fix it you know morals reasons not financial reasons or greed I should say and talks a lot has been the worst experience about regaining my license and I'm talking about the entire process and talks a lot has been the worst of it all and the rest of it was still pretty rough I do not recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a company to choose they are awful customer service and they're very rude whenever you bring anything up to their attention in fact all it is done is costs me to probably have to spend even more money than I would have been the first place when I seek legal advice due to this disaster they should be ashamed of their self

I almost don't know where to begin with this company, horrible customer service that is clearly outsourced for purposeful miscommunication errors so they can charge you more on the back end. Random rules like u can leave your keys in the ignition even though I live in a cold state and need to warm up my car. Overcharging for out-of-date equipment and faulty equipment. False reads after fasting for 16+ hours, they have a charge for a "protection sleeve" 5 dollars a month. For one the entire cost of the sleeve is probably around 10 dollars max and the usual lease is a year so do the math on that. Also there is no option to not be charged these useless upcharges that you'll never end up using. Oh and here's the big issue, they are purposely screwing over a group of people deemed as untrustworthy due to a past mistake and by doing so no one can accuse them of being greedy corporate rodents because this is all in the name of "safety". The state and these companies do not care about your safety they just are profiting off the guise of safety. It's sickening.
Desired outcome: I would like countless refunds for the countless false reads and lockouts and compensation for the wasted hours.
Lock out
Today I got in my truck to hook up my machine as I was told if it gets really hot you need to remove vice from car so which I did when I got I. My truck this morning to hook back up as I was screaming hand held back in it piped up machine no power violation 12. I did nothing wrong. When I took my truck to get machine installed they called me and said they were waiting on gas so could not finish it. I took back next day to finish which resulted in faulty wiring and then faulty hand held device so service center called and reported it and gave me a refurbish hand held. They installed and trained me how to use before even leaving service center a violation came up and sequel repair said it would go away well it didn’t so we called in was told it was lock out due to starting car before blowing which was false as time and date of lock out was when the were training me how to use. Come to find out they charged me which is wrong since I was being trained how to use it. I called in several times about removing fee was told be representative it would be removed and couple days later still wasn’t removed called in again and spoke with supervisor and he as well told me it would be removed and it wasn’t. I spoke to a Shawn some time earlier which mentally abused me and was taunting me. I will also be filing a complaint with states general attorney as I can’t afford to get these fees when I’m limited income and have disabled child. I watch every move I make on this device and I feel you guys are out to get fees that are not justified.
Desired outcome: I want my fees removed. They also have me a lock on 5-15 during service center teaching me how to use machine the day it was installed that also needs to be removed as I hadn’t even drove my car yet or left service center and got it.

One of many issues!
1) doesnt like the way you blew - there is no alcohol on ur breath but you get a lock out fee. However, you still have to blow to get your car started and or keep driving and apparently it will approve a blow a minute later - but you still get a lock out fee - SCAM
2) Ambient weather - really? It is not my fault it is 90 degrees out and your device freaks out. This is not alcohol related and should be refunded.
3) Test when you shut off car - really? Im getting out of the car and you want to ask for one last test after I am in my house? Not related to alcohol.
4) Dead Battery - if I dont drive my vehicle on my days off - because this device is a stress and defective IMO - it will drain my battery - causing me great stress needing to get a jump to get to work. If I run it for 10 minutes to charge the battery - it isnt enough and the battery is still dead or too weak the next day. And yes, I have replaced my battery once and not doing it again to accommodate this defective device.
Auto pay for fees - auto deducts for LOCK OUT FEE that are invalid. So I remove auto deduct. Then I got a credit for an invalid fee by contacting the attorney general of my state / WA, and they auto deducted my next months' fees out of my credit without my permission and I was getting the device removed next month so why would I want to pay that inadvance of the due date. SCAM they wont credit it back to my account - SCAM.
Customers need to email intoxalocks customer advocacy line and legal and make a complaint with the attorney general to stop this abuse. This email is golden - [protected]@intoxalock.com
Desired outcome:
Class action law suit and pay back to all its customers for inappropriate fees - pain and suffering. This client base is already a vulnerable group and the mental and financial abuse of them bettering their lives and learning to live without alcohol and stay that way - is a terrible disservice to society and themselves.
Desired outcome: class action lawsuit - refund all nonalcohol related lock out fees and reset fees to customers!
