I switched from Cigna to Humana during the period of changing. After the change i was told i needed my Dr to fax my prescription for libre 2 system to centerwell pharmacy. My Dr notified me it had been faxed. I was told centerwell never got it. I proceeded to get the prescription emailed to me. When I called Centerwell back, so I could email it to them, I was told the Dr needed to send a preauthorization. Is a preauth not done by the insurance company? In any case I've spoken with several people at Humana and centerwell pharmacy over the course of several hours. I wish I had never changed. I'm at this moment on hold waiting for someone else at centerwell. None I've spoken with had any knowledge of prescriptions and most used canned scripts to navigate customer service. Some were overseas. Can I go back to Cigna?
