Today november 9th, 2022 at 9:40 am in inverness, florida I ordered a hot cup of tea with my meal and the menu says bottomless beverages, so after my first cup of tea I asked for a second cup of tea, my waitress told me it will be another $3.19 will be added to bill for the second tea bag. I asked about the price and the waitress got really rude to me and told me that is just how it is one tea bag per $3.19. I have never been treated so rude and charged for a second cup of tea at any other restaurant in my life. Well she did not make a very good tip from me and I decided not to eat at huddle house again or at least this one but time will tell maybe no huddle house. My wife use to be a waitress at denny's and bob evans over 30 years total she said she never seen such rudeness from a waitress.

The Brookwood al huddle house is the worst place to ever work I'll be that I've been there since November of last year I have been called names I've been sprayed in the face with bleach I've been sent home because I stand up for myself and ask people to stop talking about me in front of customers I've been sent home because I asked for help doing their side work not my side work but their side work I've gone to management like I'm supposed to I've even called the corporate office no one never returned a phone call I've emailed nothing this is the worst company to ever work for because they do not care for their employees

I’ve been to the Hazlehurst, GA Huddle House a few times and each time I’ve noticed that the Cooks do not wear gloves. The customer service and food is good but I think it’s very unsanitary to be touching people food with your bare hands. Especially after I’ve watched you wipe sweat from your forehead or wipe your fingers on your pants. October 12, 2022.

I placed a mobile order at around 3:45am at the Fort Payne, Al 35967 location. My money was withdrawn from my bank account and had a confirmation page that my order would be ready at 3:58am. I arrived to pick my order up at 4:15am. However, when I got to Huddle House, the cook said he did not receive a mobile order to cook. I understood and showed him on my phone where I had placed a mobile order at the Fort Payne, Al 35967 location and would be ready to pick at 3:58am. The cook insisted he still could not make my order as it was not showing up in his system. I kept showing him the confirmation page and even showed him my bank account statement stating I had used my card to pay for an online payment at Huddle House. It showed date and time. So I had 2 methods of providing proof I had placed my order and I paid for it on the Huddle House website at the Fort Payne, Al 35968 location. The cook insisted he would not make my food. I paid for my food. I order 2 burgers and fries, but did not receive my food. The cook is named James. He said he had been working at Huddle House for 2 years. I insisted I had proof the order had been paid. He still would not make my order. As I was discussing the matter with him, a co-worker off duty walked in and heard the problem. I gave her the details and she said would call her manager. The manager resolved the issue instantly. But I waited for an hour for a simple $20 order. It was very unprofessional to refuse to make a paid order. Thank you Management for resolving the issue.

09-02-2022 around 5pm in Baxley, GA I placed an order for a big house breakfast platter and a ribeye dinner when I got home my husband begin to eat the ribeye,he asked me to try it so I took a bite and tthere was literally sand or (dirt )on the meat. So apparently someone had to have dropped it and just went ahead and cooked it because it looks like it has been cooked on there I still have the meal it's been in the refrigerator no one has touched anything else on it , everything is still in the plate.

When I went and picked it up two girls met me at the window now the other one was was all right she was nice when the second girl came back with the food I gave her tip ($7)and then I asked her if she put syrup and butter and there for The Breakfast Platter and she looked at me and she said "I've got this under control" and just shut the window on me.

My husband and I was discussing that and we got thinking about the dirt on it we decided not to eat any of the food because now wevare uncertain if it was done on purpose or not so that was over 25$ gone and ended up having to cook after being with my mother at the hospital all day.

I worked at huddle house for two weeks. I have been at a different job for over 3 weeks now. I was supposed to receive 2 paychecks. One two weeks ago, and one today. I have received neither.

My gm refuses to help and nobody at corporate will return my phone calls. I am going to the Alabama labor board. I will take it to the papers and the news if I do not get my money. I have proof that the gm refuses to help in a text. This is rediculous. I worked at hueytown huddle house. If you need to reach me my number is [protected]. Hope to hear from you soon. I need my money. My utilities are close to being cut off.

Why in the world would corporate remove french toast and leave more costly items? Costly for the restaurant and customer. Seems like a backwards idea to get rid of a very simple cheap to produce item. You probably spend less than $1.50 per order and sell it for $7+ Yet keep ridiculous items that no doubt cost $3-$4 and charge $8-$10. Definitely not using the "saved money" for training, good staff, CLEANING SUPPLIES, highchairs that aren't falling apart, ventilation from the kitchen, pest/insect control or anything important

My family eats at the one in Guntersville AL at least twice a week for years. The menu was just changed and it sucks now. I go there basically for a Patty Melt Plate. The garlic mayo sauce & carmalized onions was the best I have ever eaten. Now you serve basically a grilled cheese with two tiny beef Patty's. Why would you take something so fabulous and make it suck! Also was served a pecan waffle we didn't order. What if my granddaughter had a nut allergy? Please bring my Patty Melt back.

I live in andrews Texas. This is the third time we have ate there with our friends. It can be one hundred degrees outside and we walk in after church on Wed. And you can hang meat in the place it’s so cold. The person working said we have to keep the cooks cool it gets hot back there. I told her no your customers should be comfortable. We had a party of seven. All cold. A customer came in after us and he left and went to his hotel to get him a jacket. This place has gone down hill so bad. The head waitress who was the only one there besides a cook said they cannot adjust it only corporate can. We won’t be back.

Have eaten several times in recent monthst, a certain cook turns on his stereo with two speakers and plays loud music, not appropriate for dining. Monday, July 1 at 6:15-8:00 was the last time he was playing. Head waitress was not pleased with his music and requested he turn it off once and once stop playing a specific tune. He half complied and was obvious he didnt want to. All of the other times we were there and she was not working, the music would gradually get louder over the time we were there. Many times we are unable to even hear the person next to us talking.

Am very upset at your new menus…..no salads anymore. Salads are the only thing safe enough for me as a diabetic to eat. Always had protein with chicken breast and hard boiled eggs. Low carbs is what we need, not all the bread with a sandwich. I’m sure there are also others on a diet and they can benefit from salads, too. Travelers like a light meal, too. Please bring back the salads!

7/22/2022 at 740 pm the service we received at the huddle house in Selma al was awful. My family and myself sat there for a little while before the waitress noticed we were there, she then came to the table took our order and after our food was brought to our table that was the last time we saw her until she brought us the check and mentioned leaving her a tip before I even paid the check.

On 3 occasions i did not receive my food nor did i get my money back. No one answers the phone. The first time a general manager called me and told me come in my meal was on the house. Well i work and was taking care of my dying father at the time so when i did call no one knew him. Second time the delivery person never made it and last week so i tried it again thinking things were better not, i order for 8 ish still no food at 11. Once a driver arrived she took it somewhere else still didnt get it. I emailed never received call from anyone about the last experience. I need someone to get with me about my refunds.

On June 8, 2022 at approximately 11:50. I entered the establishment. Upon arrival there were no clean tables! I was told to stand where I want to sit and they will come clean the table off. Once I sat down, I immediately ordered drinks for myself and family who were in route to accompany me. One who she returned with the drinks at almost 12:00pm, I then placed 6 orders for myself and family. Once my family arrive at around 12;15, we still hadn’t received nor even a portion of the order. Be reminded that I am on my lunch break and have to return at 1:00pm. So at 12:45 the waitress finally comes over and reassures us that the food is on its way. I left at 12:50, with my order to go and my family still hadn’t received their food. I was late returning to work and did not get to eat! I will never ever ever ever visit another huddle house as long as I live!

There was so much wrong it’s hard to even find a place to begin. We sat for a long time waiting on someone to come to our table. Our server was eating a “snack” and they told us they wanted to rest for a minute. After finally being able to order, we were asked several times what we ordered due to an insane amount of confusion among staff. Our food was ready and the server proceeded to get up from enjoying their meal, lick their fingers clean and bring us our food. The food was not even edible. Some of it was still frozen. We were never asked if we needed anything or how the service was. The cash register appeared to be broken so the staff was running off a system of using a bank bag with cash inside, which of course caused even more confusion for an already confused group. This was the worst experience I’ve had in a very long time. We paid for food that we couldn’t even eat. I definitely will not be going back to the Arab Alabama location ever again.
