I booked a room at a Lodge at Costanoa, California. I went through the Lodges website and thought I was on it when I made my reservations. Well after the fact, I discovered I went through HotelsOne.com. They even disguised the site with Costanoa photos. A week before the stay I got an email from the Lodge with instructions for check-in and to pay my bill. I had already paid the bill off a year ago. I also discovered that HotelsOne.com had upcharged the room rate by 25% and way overcharged for taxes. The total overage was 287.96, a little more than the price of another night. I understand a convenience fee may be normal, but almost 300.00? Whose the convenience for? Them "conveniently" helping themselves to my bank account? I see an awful lot of complaints for the kind of things.
Claimed loss: 287.93
Desired outcome: Refund

Good luck trying to reach them. They seem to disregard all complaint based emails.
