I made reservations for 8/26/24, canceled within 5 minutes when realized wrong date.
Hotels.com refuses to reimburse blamed it on hotel.
I stopped at hotel 8/16, the manager said they are not paid, they would tell hotels.com to reimburse me. I forwarded the hotel email so they could be contacted but hotels.com are refusing to contact them by email!
Recommendation: Don’t trust!
When the U.S. government closed the airspace and my flight to San Juan Puerto Rico was cancelled, had to cancel the SJU hotel. Had bought the Protection Insurance for the hotel, but they would not reimburse the hotel cost, only would cover illness or injury! I will not buy the Protection Insurance again for any of the hotels as this was not any carrier fault but the U.S. government.
