I bought furniture on 11/11, and it was a special order that was supposed to be delivered in February. I tried to cancel it back then, but they said I couldn't because it's a special order. In May, I received an email saying that it wouldn't be available until the week of August 4th. They gave me the option to cancel at that time, but since I had already waited for so long, I decided not to cancel. I followed up with them because they don't usually do it, and they sent me an email saying that I wouldn't receive my chair for another 5-7 weeks! I called them and asked them to cancel, but now they're saying that they can't cancel because it's a special order. Why could they cancel in May and not now? I spoke to their financial person, Natalie, and she was rude, and also to the manager, Mo. They're not willing to work with me. I just want my money back and the order cancelled. Thank you, ***.

My experience with Home Life Furniture has been a complete nightmare. I paid a hefty $3,000 for a couch set, believing that they were of excellent quality. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. Within just 6 months of owning the couch, the "leather" started peeling off, the seams began to fall apart, and even the frame itself started to bend, causing the couch to literally fall apart. It's quite frustrating, especially when the couch separates when it reclines.
Finally, there seemed to be some hope when the repair guy came to fix the couch. But then, I received a call from Homelife, asking me how I would like to pay for the repairs. This was a shock to me because never once were we informed that we would have to pay for anything, considering that the couches are still under warranty. I am still paying $3,000 for them, after all. When I expressed my surprise, the reply I got was, "Natalie told you." Well, I highly doubt that she ever mentioned charging me for something that should be covered by the warranty. It feels like a total scam to me.
Now, not only have we paid a significant amount of money for these couches, but we also had to pay even more to Homelife for the repairs. It's truly disappointing. And to make matters worse, the couches are still ripping at the seams and the "leather" continues to peel off. It's just not what I expected or deserved for the price I paid.
