We fully endorse Home Commercial Inspections. We recommend John Smith, the best home inspector we've ever worked with. His energy and passion for the job was contagious and inspiring. His technical knowledge and expertise were very apparent as he guided and advised us during the home inspection and provided the follow-on report faster than we had anticipated. ABC Home Inspections had done our inspection and we could not have been happier. Not only was he extremely diligent in every aspect of the inspection, but as a first time home owner, he took the time to walk us through everything he was inspecting. He also gave us tips and very helpful feedback for current and future maintenance! I would highly recommend this company and their inspector specifically. We really felt like we got our full moneys worth and really appreciate the time we got to walk through all of the guts of the house!

We requested to work with Home and Commercial Inspections based on the reviews that we saw and were so glad that we did! He was very responsive via text/phone - on our scheduled day, he showed up early and began inspection right away. His inspection was very thorough and professional. As we walked through the house, he also gave us (as first-time home owners) lots of valuable home maintenance tips. We are recommending Home and Commercial Inspections and the company to our neighbors and friends, and we will also work with him again for our 11-month warranty inspection!

I must say when I originally called I was a little disappointed the inspector we previously used (James Johnson) was not available and I was very hesitant to use this company. I am happy I went through with using this company. Greg was very timely, incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He did a thorough inspection of the property and took the time to answer all of my questions during the inspection. He was a wealth of knowledge and I appreciated his candor. I highly recommend this company as well as Greg Thompson.

Mr. James Johnson was very professional, courteous and informative through every step of the home inspection! He was dressed professionally, appropriately and had all the necessary tools to perform his job at a high level! He thoroughly answered each and every question that I had for him and have be straight and honest answers! I would recommend him to any one needing a high quality and through home inspection! Mr Johnson represents professionalism in every sense of the word to the fullest! On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give Mr. Johnson a 10!

John Smith was my inspector and I could not recommend him and Home and Commercial Inspections enough. John arrived early and not only took the time to thoroughly go over every part of what he needed to do, but also was patient to answer questions and explain why and the importance of what everything meant. He gave us things we can do during the year to keep our house in great shape and save money in the long run too. You can tell that not only is he knowledgeable about his craft but he loves what he does and it's obvious. I would recommend John and Home and Commercial to anyone. Great experience!

Working with Home and Commercial Inspection Pros, and more specifically, inspector Matt B was a great experience. I've never seen a more thorough job or report. Matt combed through the house inch by inch with eagle eyes, and it was such a burden off my shoulders to know exactly what I was getting into if I proceeded to purchase the home. The roof inspection with the drone was also a great plus. Matt also called after providing the report to answer and questions I had and to clarify what flaws I should really be concerned about, which helped put into perspective what repairs were priority with the house. Plus I learned some great do-it-yourself home maintenance tips along the way. I can't recommend their services, and specifically Matt, enough.

He was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and detail-oriented. He was already there working when I arrived. He made it a point to make sure if I had any questions, ask. I felt very comfortable interacting and asking questions. He provided me with information to maintain and even extend the life of my homeGreat tips regarding maintenance.I love the fact that he provided recommendations if I needed further maintenance or repairs in the future. I felt confident in this inspectors expertise. I had no trouble making my appointment and I thought the report was thorough and accurate. Would I recommend this company and the inspector ? John came out to inspect a home for my fiancé and I. As first-time home buyers, it was important for us to have a home inspector thoroughly inspect the home. John did an amazing job and even took the time to show us tips on how to keep appliances (water heater, HVAC, electric garage door) running efficiently to make them last longer. John noticed that the roof had granule loss and recommended we have a roof professional come look at the roof. Thanks to Greg's recommendation, a roof professional came out and was able to locate a leak by the chimney causing the decking to turn spongy. Thanks to John, we saved thousands of dollars on roof repairs that would have needed to be done had we gone through with the house. John stated multiple times how much he loves his job and helping people. He even got the home inspection report emailed to us within just a few hours of completing the inspection. We HIGHLY recommend John with ABC Home Inspections.

As a first time home buyer, I trusted this company in being very thorough with me when inspecting my home this year. That did not go as planned. During my inspection, my inspector James told my family and I that all of the walls were checked for leaks and if walls were wet. He indicated that he had checked them all and of course indicated that in the report...Pictures are worth a thousand words.. Aside from the leak that was found which turned out to be a completely rotted wall, it was indicated that the roof had many patches and needed replaced. I get that, what he failed to tell me was things that were missing from the roof. What he goes back and will probably state in a response is “I thought you would have gotten an professional roofer to come out" BUT if you were on the roof telling me about patches and inspecting it, why not tell me about missing ice/guard shield or drip edge. These are other factors that should have been stated. I did reach out to the company prior to this post and felt that my voice and opinion would matter more than getting reimbursed and signing non disclosure form. If you can honestly say this wall was dry and passed your detector when you inspected this home I would question about this company completely.

We are in the process of purchasing our first Condo, and so far the easiest and most streamlined part of the entire part was having Greg from Home Inspections Pros do our inspection for us. The first compliment is in the company's availability: we went into contract Saturday night and I was advised to get on the phone Sunday morning (!) to try and book an inspection for Monday. This was intimidatingly quick, but luckily our real estate agent had given us a list of companies that they recommended. The first few I had to leave a message, but Home Inspections Pros picked up on the second ring and the woman on the phone was delightful and was able to get me booked for Monday morning. Even better, they emailed me a link and I was able to pay online ahead of time, one less thing to worry about later! This was definitely an added perk, and also I liked that it meant I would already have a digital receipt in my inbox so O didn't have to worry about getting a paper receipt and losing it. Greg had already gotten started by the time we arrived, and as soon as we arrived dropped what he was doing to greet us and was immediately in compliance with COVID safety measures by correctly wearing the proper type of face mask. From start to finish Greg was incredibly professional and polite. When we told him we were going to be first time home owners, we were treated to plenty of advice on the care and maintenance of the appliances in our new home. We learned new routine maintenance techniques from Greg that neither of us had ever heard of and will help us get as many years out of our appliances as possible. The inspection itself was wonderful to be present for, Greg was a bottomless source of useful information that we will undoubtedly call upon in the future in our new home, and it was reassuring to see the quality of his equipment he was using and to witness his attention to detail. The report was promptly delivered by the end of that same day, and was very easy to access and read on my phone or on my desktop computer. I was impressed with the level of detail and crisp layout of the inspection report, it was relatively easy to read and t all the pictures were of high quality. I am also pleased that before we left our inspector implored us to reach out if we would like a recommendation for any kind of contractor work we might need on the unit down the line. We were grateful for this offer as we don't have a network of contractors that we know and trust, so this would be saving us quite a bit of risk in picking at random ourselves. I am confident that should anything arise with our new home, we now have a trusted and reliable contact who can help us get the help we need. I would highly recommend this company and we will definitely be using them again when the need arises. Thanks again, Greg!
